Eyedropper STILL not wroking on grouped objects in Illustrator 24.2.3
When using the eyedropper on grouped objects, it'll show correctly in the color panel, but it'll only apply the stoke color to the group. Please fix this! The eye dropper has not worked for grouped objects for way too long now.

Downsampling not working properly with Extra large artboards
When saving into a PDF file larger than 225.5417" it uses the new extra large artboard feature (since version 24.2). This applies a scaling factor of 10 so that the file can be viewed properly in Acrobat.
The issue is that if you downsample your images it doesn't take into account the scaling factor. This means for a 1000" document, if I want to downsample to 300 dpi/in, I will need 300 000 dpi. But, the downsampling tools views the document as being 100" instead, and I end up with 30 000 dpi. So the end result is a 30dpi/in…

Big Sur and native Effects gallery crash
Anybody else getting Illustrator CC2019 and 2020 to crash in Big Sur (beta) when accessing the Filter Gallery (eg. Effect > Texture > Grain)?
You don't even have to apply the effect. Simply opening that window will doom you to a crash.
Tested with latest public releases of CC2019 + 2020 and macOS 11 Beta (20A5384c) on 2015 iMac.

Live Paint Dead
Wow, I haven't seen AI get this slow and bad at basic vector work in years! (Just might be way too bloated.) Had to delete latest version 25.1 and go backwards just to get my day job done on time.

No tools on illustrator 2021
Im on the last version of illustrator (on the date of 2021-01-20 at 9:47 am EST) and when i launch illustrator and create a project, there is no tools at all, when i change a settings in the window tab, nothing change

GPU-Support fällt reproduzierbar aus
Die GPU-Unterstützung funktioniert zunächst bei neu angelegten Dateien wie erwartet. Sobald ich das Lineal einblende oder eine Zeichenfläche verändere oder hinzufüge, fällt die GPU-Unterstützung aus und das Programm wird extrem 'laggy'. Man kann das GPU-Rendering nicht wieder aktivieren, bis man Ai neu startet. Bestehende Ai-Dateien, die eingeblendete Lineale haben oder Hilfslinien enthalten, funktionieren ebenfalls nur mit CPU-Rendering. Entfernt man hier alle Hilfslinien und blendet die Lineale aus, speichert die Datei, beendet Ai und öffnet die Datei anschließend wieder, bringt das die GPU-Unterstützung zurück. Bis man aben wieder an Lineale oder die Zeichenflächen geht – kurzes weißes Flackern, GPU-Unterstützung ist weg.…

Right Menu Bar Not appearing

I am here to report that the right menu bar is not appearing. I don't know what the bar is actually called so please excuse any misnaming. I wasn't drawing in fullscreen, and the fact that the right menu bar was in the way kinda annoyed me. So I clicked the 'X' button to put it away. I was done drawing, so I put my laptop away. Color shift when distilling .ai files
Colors in distilled files switch from CMYK to RGB since software update on March 14, 2020. This is very disruptive to my work flow.

Illustrator continues to crash when trying to place an image
I can do other things within Illustrator, but I can't seem to place images without the program crashing. I've tried restarting my machine, updating, and reinstalling the program, but nothing seems to help.

Find Font dialog
I'm testing the Illustrator Beta version 25.3.192@232370 running on Big Sur 11.2. There seem to be quite a few display issues. Measurement labels are covered in a gray box so can't be seen and the Find Font dialog box is corrupted so can not be used.

Pattern Seam issues with Adobe Capture patterns
when using adobe capture patterns there is a transparent seam in the pattern, I am able to remove the seam by change the width of the pattern but its only a temporary fix as soon as I change the pattern the seam comes back. This issue only seams to happen in illustrator, because when I use the same patterns in photoshop there is no gap between patterns
Steps to replicate:
- use adobe capture to create a pattern.
- create a shape in illustrator
open the libraries tab and insert the pattern
where lines/ spaces appear in-between the patterngo to pattern…

Preview Icon not Showing on MacOS

Illustrator (2021) - 25.1Steps and Expectations
1) Save work as most recent version of native AI file with PDF Compatibility On.
2) Expected file would have a preview icon of artwork found on desktop.
Icon Preview is on (always) for all folders and root users.
3) File saved with standard Ai icon, and no icon preview.Sample image shows Ai file and what Ai icon should look like as per the JPEG file.

Text Box (Dash) Issue
- Apple MacOS Catalina. Adobe Illustrator 2021.
- Create text box. Choose a font and start typing, then type a '-', then if changes your font. (When typing in a font box on Illustrator, when you type a -, it goes back to the default font. I don't know why but I have had this bug for a few weeks now.)
- To keep writing in the same font.
- It changes the font.

i'm getting this message "This operation cannot complete because there isn't enough memory (RAM) available." I have 64GB Ram and NIVIDIA RTX 3090GPU , it happens when I tried to rotate a shape that has "free from gradient" and inner glow effect with clipping mask.
I'm using AI version (25.0)

When a AI file is opened and the fill color of some entities is changed, Save command is not available
On Several Files, I open the file, change five entities simultaneously to have a different fill color, the "SAVE" command under File is not enabled and the filename does not show the asterisks.

Pattern palette causes program crash
I have been experiencing a lot of problems with Illustrator since updating to Big Sur OS. At first it didn't even open. Now, the Pattern palette causes the program to crash every time I attempt to create a pattern. I have wasted a whole week and I cant seem to be able to get it to work correctly.

No text selection on New Document window
I have been experiencing a problem since Illustrator 2020.
When in the New Document window, I can't select any text on the inputs such as File name, Height, Width, Bleed etc.
I usually select by clicking and dragging, but it isn't working. The only way to select the entire text for me now is by clicking 3 times at the end.
I reinstalled my windows 10 system for other reasons, but the problem persists.
Everything seems fine on other Adobe applications, though.

Illustrator shutting down randomly without saving
I am working as a Graphic Designer, so I use Illustrator very often. Lately it happens a lot, that Illustrator shuts itself down randomly. Guys this isn't fun...
I am working on some projects for 2 -3 hours for nothing. Nothing is saved, not even if I do it manually from time to time. It's like playing russian roulette - will I keep my file? Won't I? Will I finish my project in time or will I have to start over AGAIN?! What is going on?
