When holding down alt and scrolling in it takes multiple attempts to get Illustrator to respond.

Can an illustrator / photoshop PDF be used as a template to generate PDFs in nodejs (or any other language)?
I work a lot with generating PDF reports and what I constantly do is:
Design the pdf in illustrator / photshop
Lay it out with HTML using a library that changes from HTML to PDF (Using DOMPDF in PHP, html-pdf in nodejs, or a java parser that I can't remember its name).
Implement it in the system using the variables to be substituted, like any other view (using blade in laravel, handlebars in nodejs, and java iText in Java)
To which I wonder, is there a way to go from point 1 to point 3? In other words, export a…1 vote -
Resizing a constrained proportion shape not accurate to input
In 'Transform', if I set it to constrain proportions, then change the size of a square to '50mm x 50mm', the dimensions automatically change to something like '49.4345mm x 49.156mm'.
It also does this with any shape I created. So annoying! I think it worked back in 2019's versions, but with any version since doesn't.

Illustrator 2021 25.1 not opening files
macOS Big Sur 11.1, Illustrator 25.1
Double-clicking .ai files in finder launch Illustrator but the actual files do not open. If I drag the files to the Illustrator dock icon(after Illustrator is open) it will open one of the files (trying to open 8 files), then try thru open in File menu and select all 8 files, open a few of them.
This did not happen until this last update.

Hot Door CADtools 12 plug-in not working for Illustrator 25.1
Hot Door CADtools 12 plug-in stopped working for the 25.1 update. The .aip file is in the illustrator plug-in folder, but all the toolbars have disappeared from illustrator and I can't figure out where they went or how to fix the issue...

The 3D effects (eg. Extrude and Bevel) don't work at all, I can see only flat outline in preview and after saving.

Pen tool makes an "invisible" outline
When drawing with the pentool it shows a "outline" that cannot be removed.

Artboard copying with hotkey [ bug ]
macOS Catalina 10.15.7
Illustrator 25.0.1- Select current artboard, option drag to copy
- Artboard moves instead of creating a copy
- When trying to undo, artboard returns to previous location while artwork remains in new location
- Required to press undo 5-10 times as artwork slowly inches its way back to the original artboard

Illustrator won't preview changes in the transparency mask until I move the art.
I just set up a new computer this morning and this is a new problem I have not dealt with before. Any edit I make to the transparency mask in an artwork does not preview until I move the artwork. Moving the view, zooming in and out etc doesn't udpate the preview, only moving the artwork. I tried turning off my GPU performance to see if that was causing some issue but it didn't change anything.

Illustrator crushes
I am using Macbook Air M1, illustrator crashes and freezes very frequent. I have to force shut down my Macbook Air, but this doesn't fixed the problem that I am facing, freezes can up to at least 10minutes.

The bounding box problem has persisted over versions, years. Extremely strange that it continues to pester even to this day. Dragging Live Corners Rotates Object Instead of Rounding the Corner

Hovering over a live corner and dragging it should let me round the corner.Actual result:
Dragging a live corner more often than not rotates the object instead. Only by making sure my cursor is hovering as far away as it can be from the corner, but still showing the curve icon and dragging can I consistently get the right behaviour. Copy Bezier pen behavior from After Effects
In AE, we can hold down the alt/option key to instantly break smooth anchor points. In other words: Dragging a control point while alt/option is down, enables separate manipulation of the control point (breaking it).
This is way more effective than selecting a separate tool. Maybe this can be added, since alt/option has no function at the momen. (and because in a suite - one would expect similar tools to work the same ;-)

White flickering screen: Illustrator 2019 gltches out video card in Macs with AMD Radeon R9 M390 2 GB graphics card...
it's an Apple & Adobe conflict with each other regarding the AMD graphic card driver(s) + Mojave OS 10.14. Rolling back to Illustrator 2018 doesn't fix it. I first thought it was a physical hardware problem (dying graphics card) until we experienced the problem on multiple Macs in the same way.
This issue didn't exist prior to updating to Mojave, however, I think Mojave and Adobe were fine together until updating to Adobe CC's 2019 products which had the initial conflict and, in turn, created the same conflict for the prior Adobe CC versions + Mojave.

Text alignment of text on path changes in SVG on export, but not in other file types
Adobe Illustrator 25.0.1 on macOS Big Sur 11.1, MacBook Pro 2016
I've exported the same graph multiple times - as jpeg, png and svg. In the svg version, some text looses it's alignment - can't send that to my client!
