3. Rotating with Shift held doesn't rotate precisely at 180 degrees

   MacBook Pro 16-inch, 2021
   Apple M1 Pro
   16 GB memory
   Sonoma 14.1.2

   Illustrator 28.4.1

   Holding down shift while rotating an object "180deg" doesn't actually rotate it 180deg. It's maybe 179deg, which is a major problem.

4. Making a regular triangle with Star tool duplicates the path

   Scissor tool cuts lines and duplicates them (completely broken)

   Make a triangle by selecting the star and changing it to 3 lines (triangle), now cut one of the lines with the scissor. It duplicates the shape! This bug is seen across multiple shapes and lines. The scissor tool is broken along with selecting individual points often creates duplicate lines.

   The quality of adobe products has just gone downhill in the last 5 years.

6. Dashed strokes in SVG are set to 0 when reopening in Ai, but are displayed correctly in the browser

   1) Windows 11 / Windows 10 with Adobe Illustrator 28.4.1
   2)
   1. Open a new document
   2. Draw a line with line tool
   3. Set line to dashed with 10 5 1 5
   4. Export file as SVG
   5. Close file in Illustrator and reopen it in illustrator.
   3) Expected result: Line still has dashing of 10 5 1 5 in Ai and in the browser
   4) Actual result: Line has dashing of 0 0 0 0 0 0 in Ai, but looks correct in the browser

7. Can't change the color of a gradient stop to an existing swatch

   Most infuriating Gradient Swatch forever bug. This bug has been persistent through the past several updates and I don't understand why Adobe is ignoring such an infuriating bug that should not be that hard to correct. Click on the gradient stop and select a swatch from the popup swatches palette and no effect.

9. Alt + Shift hotkeys for menu commands in the latest version are broken

   Any keyboard shortcut that uses both Alt and Shift sends Alt only when pressed.

   So if you have a 'Alt + Shift + T' hotkey assigned to something, pressing it will open Type menu instead ('Alt + T').

   Also, a hotkey that uses F-key with a modifier launches an action that is assigned to F-key without modifiers, but not the command.

   I have an action that uses F3 for launch.
   Then I make a new keyboard shortcut for a menu command, assigned to Alt+F3.

   I expect to run the command when I hit Alt+F3.
   Instead, Ai does not launch the command, but runs the F3-assigned action!

   Same happens if I have an action on Shift+F3 and try to run a command assigned to Alt+Shift+F3 — Ai tries to run the action and ignores the command.

   However this time it’s a straight bug :(

    When we use Variable Concepr Fonts if I write text that contain letters with accents, the style of the typography changes. It's quite annoying.

11. Making adjustments to a value within a panel's field, either through a scroll wheel or a swipe up/down gesture, operates inversely.

    1) Click on a field with a certain value in a panel (e.g., "Keyboard Increment" value in the "Properties" panel).
    2) Scroll up or down to adjust its value.
    3) Scrolling up will result in decreasing the value.
    4) Scrolling down will now result in increasing the value.

    This is counter intuitive. It should work vice versa. Scrolling UP should INCREASE the value, and scrolling DOWN should DECREASE it.
    Please, fix it.

12. Illustrator scripts not working on M2 Mac mini

    Apple M2 Pro running Sonoma 14.7. Only the 3 included scripts are visible or work in either Illustrator 24 (v28.7.1) or Illustrator 23 (v27.9.6).
    If you browse to a script you can select it but nothing happens. No action, no error message.
    External 3rd party scripts no longer seem to work.
    Is there a fix?

13. Dimension Tool panel as a tool subgroup instead of a floating modal panel

    If you pick Dimension Tool, a small panel appears. As with the other tools, there should be a small triangle in the bottom right-hand corner to indicate that further options are available. If you click on the tool, these options should pop up BEFORE the tool panel.

15. problème de copier/coller d'objet sur les calques non verrouillés

    pourquoi illustrator veut toujours coller les objets sur le calque vérrouillé ou invisible ? Cela n'arrivait pas avant la dernière mise à jour de Illustrator. Avant, je copiais collais sur le calque sélectionné (les autres étant verrouillés) sans souci. Maintenant cela m'affiche un pop up qui me demande si je veux déverrouiller le calque ou afficher le calque correspondant . Si je clique NON, le collage ne se fait pas, si je clique OUI, il se colle sur le calque d'en dessous qui est verrouillé, voir même invisible. Pourtant, Je suis bien positionné sur un claque déverrouillé et qui est le calque de destination de mon objet à coller ! J'ai cherché dans les paramètres si je pouvais changer cette fonction, mais je ne trouve pas. J'ai cherché sur des forums, je ne trouve pas. Donc, j'imagine que c'est un bug.

17. I'm tired. Tools occasionally don’t work, artboards don’t get edited, links don’t hold.

    My illustrator since I downloaded it has been very bad, at the moment it is buggy and does not let me edit the artboards, I even had to restart my PC. The bug happens with all the tools and just with the passing of the hours it fixes itself, but I'm tired. I can't even add images or screenshots because it doesn't leave me when it's in that state, it's not my computer, it's a very good computer and I can't say it's because I'm doing something wrong.
