1. Crash in exporting PDF

   Illustrator 24.3 64bits on Windows 10

   The software crash when exporting PDF as a Export for Screens (mutliple format export)

   All the formats except PDF are exported on the Outpout folder, but when generating PDF, it's crash randomly (1 success for 5 crashes)

2. Pixel Preview distorts text at 100 and 50% in CC 2020 (and 2020 beta)

   When Preferences > Display Print Size at 100% Zoom is checked Pixel Preview gives a distorted (and wrong size) preview.
   This does not happen in CC 2019
   Create some text.
   Zoom to 100%
   Turn on Pixel Preview
   Result > the view percentage changes to 126,87%
   Zooming out to 100% or 50% shows very distorted text.
   This does not happen in CC 2019 (see attached image).

3. direct selection tool causes broken anchor points to snap to same angle???

   Since 24.3 the direct selection tool causes absolutely unwanted snapping of broken anchor points while moving one of the anchor points. That's absolutely wired and stops any workflow. Please fix this quickly again!

4. object distortion on perspective grid after pathfinder unite

   Windows 10 home, Illustrator 2020.

   After uniting two or more rectangles on the perspective grid to make a more complex shape, moving/copying the new object using the perspective selection tool results in distortion as the object appears to have become detached from it's perspective plane. The behaviour is shown in the attached image.

   Inserting the step Object > Perspective > Attach to active directly after Unite allows the object to move correctly (thanks Monika Gause) although it was suggested that perhaps this step shouldn't be necessary and it should be able to move correctly without it.

5. Guides not scaling correctly on copy/paste into large canvas

   If I copy a 5"x5" rectangle from a regular document and paste it to a large canvas document, it remains 5"x5", as expected.

   However, if I convert the same shape to a guide and then copy it from a regular document to a large canvas document, the guide becomes 50"x50". This really makes things difficult when copying guides and artwork together into a large canvas.

6. Can't Add Artboards in Increments of 10 by Using Shift

   Used to be able in the new document window add 10 artboards by shift+clicking the buttons to the side. Now whenever I do it, it's just one at a time. Would be nice to have that back.

7. New update (v24.3) printer errors

   After the latest Illustrator update (v24.3), it keeps giving me printing error messages. My printer drivers and etc are up-to-date. This is the first time this has happened in many years, I don't even remember the last time I had printer errors via Illustrator. I've used Ai for over 20 years of my professional design and illustration career, several of the Ai CC 2020 updates have been nothing but a royal pain-in-the-a$$ overloaded with glitches, bugs, and crashes. I've never been so frustrated with this beloved drawing program. Adobe, please get Adobe apps to work properly like it once was. It would give all of us A LOT fewer headaches. Thanks.

8. win10 2009 kein konformer Kachelhintergrund in der Startmenü-Verknüpfung

   ich bin mir relativ sicher, das die fehlerhafte Darstellung des illustrator icons im neuen win 10 startmenü nur im dark mode) mit einem in der illustrator.exe implementierten xml code zusammen hängt.

   microsoft wird mit dem nächsten update die icon hintergründe im startmenü deaktiviert. im dark mode ist dann jede kachel dunkelgrau, die typo ist weiß. beim Illustrator icon ist die Schrift aber schwarz und der Hintergrund hellgrau.

   der white mode von win 10 2009 ist nicht betroffen!

   ich habe illustrator & creative cloud mehrfach installiert und die Registry danach gesäubert (sogar ganz frisch auf einem zweit Rechner für Testzwecke installiert). auf beiden Geräten ist der "look" danach identisch – so wie beschrieben (siehe screenshot)

   Komischerweise sind von dem Darstellungsfehler bei mir nur 2 adobe programme betroffen (illustrator & seit seit dem update auf das schwarze icon auch acrobat). sonst ist kein weiterer softwareanbieter betroffen.

   würden sie mir bestätigen, dass die exe datei einen direkten Einfluss auf die optik der win 10 Startmenü-Verknüpfung hat und es wäre toll, wenn ein einheitlicher (von microsoft vorgegebener) look in das nächste update integriert wird.

9. Sizing bug of objects with corner radius

   Create a rectangle 25mm x 25mm.
   Change corner radius to 1mm.
   Rotate the rectangle 45 degrees.
   Try to change the with or height to 25mm in the transform palette.
   You will get weird 24,7714mm, 25,0076mm, 24,9997 sizes.
   Illustrator 24.3 MacOS verion.
   It's a shame that such an expensive graphic program can't handle the basic task of sizing objects.

10. Need to double up on action when resizing artboard to bounds or art

    Op Sys: macOS Catalina 10.15.6
    Illustrator version: 24.2.3

    Hello– After years of putting up with this I am hoping to finally have it cleared up. When I want to resize the artboard to either the artwork bounds or selected art, the app 'ignores' my first attempt to do so and only picks it up after the second attempt.

11. CC Color Library changes when moving to 2nd monitor

    When using a 2nd monitor, if I move a CC app from the primary laptop monitor to the secondary monitor, the CC Color Library changes. The color shifts are minimal, but enough to be problematic. Additionally, the background color of the library changes from the expected dark gray to a light gray.

    I've verified my monitors and they are calibrated properly, so this is not a monitor calibration issue. I noticed the issue within the last few weeks, less than a month ago.

12. Impossible to change preset of work area. Right panels, tools and control bar disappear every opening

    OS: Windows 10 Pro 64 bit
    Illustrator version: 24.3
    Everytime I open a document (new or saved) right panels, tools and control bar desappear. Moreover, work area settings doesn't work: at first the work area doesn't appear and, if I try to set it, it only takes the "automation" configuration but the relative panels do not appear

13. Select Same Fill & Stroke not working, version 24.3

    Select Same Fill & Stroke is not working in Illustrator CC, version 24.3. I'm using it on a large image traced vector pattern and need to change out the shape colors. I've used to do this all the time in past versions.

14. Changing color on gradient object freezes illustrator

    I noticed a similar issue someone was having in 2019, but it doesn't seem precisely the same. I am running Illustrator 24.3 on Windows 10. I recently pulled up an Illustrator file from last year to pull items for a new, related project. One of the vectors is a gradient - I'm trying to change it to solid fill. The only way I can do this right now is to change it to whatever solid is my default in my Tools panel, then change it to the actual color I want in my color palette. The Color palette automatically selects one of the colors in the gradient with no way to deselect. Clicking a color in the Color palette from there creates a new gradient point buried or invisible beneath another one. If I try to switch the entire object to solid fill after accidentally editing this gradient point color, Illustrator freezes and shuts down.

15. Shifting decimal

    Not sure really where this lies. And it doesn't seem to have any other affect that I am aware of, but this just started with the latest upgrade - 24.3.

    I typically select an outlined piece of text and copy it then create a new document that is a couple of inched bigger and paste it in. I do this when I am creating production files for large-format kiss cut vinyl production.

    What I have been doing is selecting the text then referring to the dimensions when I create the new file for output. However, today I noticed that when I use the keyboard shortcut "Cmd N" to do so, Illustrator shifts the decimal one place to the left. so, for instance, when the true measurement is 33 x 56 inches, hitting "Cmd N" shifts the described dimensions of the selected object to 3.3 x 5.6 inches.

    It doesn't cause any known issues that I am aware of, other than my initial confusion, but I thought you should know in case it may be linked to something else or inadvertently affect something else.

16. I lost 5 hours worth of my illustrator work

    I was trying to open a file that I used to work on 30 minutes each day until I had some other work and stopped working on Illustrator for a week. After a week when I tried to reopen the file, it shows me this error message (attached an image file) and opens a blank file instead. All my work is lost.

19. Resizing objects makes them taller instead of equal width and height

    Quick update:

    Adobe's senior support and dev have confirmed the issue does exists in the files we have sent them which uses this particular illustration. They believe this issue is due to the file being created in the older 32 bit version of Illustrator before the transition to the 32 and 64 bit versions of Illustrator and no longer scales properly as today's version is only 64 bit.

    They have logged this as a feature request and but will not be categorized as a bug at this time.

    Since 24.3, resizing certain complex grouped objects while maintaining the ratio using Command + Return with one x or y dimension is not working properly.

    Example:
    1. take an affected complex grouped drawing
    2. enter a different dimension (higher or lower) in the "x" dimension box
    3. press "Command + Enter" to attempt to make the "y" dimension box update with the new dimension with the correct ratio

    Here is an example of an affected vector drawing made with an older version of Illustrator so you can see the issue:

    Result: for objects affected by this issue, it generally makes it taller and does not conform to the usual set ratio.

    This is very hard to replicate as it only affects very specific objects but curious if this is affecting anyone else.

    As you can see in the screenshot, when pressing "Command + Enter" with a 3" width, the height changes to 3.5947" as opposed to maintaining the expected square size.

    We have confimed and replicated this issue with the same AI file on another Mac using version 24.3. Yet, another Mac using 24.23 is not affected by this issue.

    Notes:
    - caps lock is not pressed
    - there are no hidden objects or guides
    - snap to grid or pixel is not active
    - only affects very specific objects created in versions before 24.3
