    Please help us in isolating it further. We would need you to check
    1) Is this Issue still happening on your machine?
    2) If yes, Kindly provide some video, Test file(Via File→Package) & some steps with which you are facing the issue and share with us at ShareWithAI@adobe.com in a Zip file.

  3. Illustrator 24.0.1 ignoring me when I enter a new dimension for my closed path with stroke

    Hi all, I'm cross-posting here from the Adobe Community forums as suggested by someone who was able to reproduce this issue. I'm running Illustrator 24.0.1 on my 2015 Macbook Pro with MacOS Catalina 10.15.1. I actually just updated to Illustrator 24.0.1 to see if this problem would go away, but it still persists.

  4. Effect 3D Rotate perspective error

    With Effects/3D Rotate, Illustrator can't render a placed image using a high perspective value. The image is all distorted. See screenshots:

    Hi,

    Thanks for reporting this issue, Illustrator Team really appreciate this.

    To adjust the perspective, enter a value between 0 and 160 in the Perspective text box. A smaller angle is similar to a telephoto camera lens; a larger lens angle is similar to a wide-angle camera lens. A lens angle that is higher than 150 may result in objects extending beyond your point of view and appearing distorted

  5. Expand Appearance stopped working for Offset Path on Illustrator 2020

    Sometimes there's no way to expand the Offset Path you created. Some other times it works, so I'm pretty sure it's a bug

  6. Compound path outside stroke becomes a fill at certain shapes and sizes

    I have some outlined text. When I give it a stroke aligned to outside, some of the counters are properly stroked, and some appear filled. If I distort the counters that are filled to be larger, they switch to a stroked appearance.

  7. Windows Registory is missing

    Although it is from the previous version, the registry value to be written is incorrect in the Windows version installer.
    This is an example of 2020 (24.0).

    Path name is wrong.

  8. Envelope Distort > Make with warp > when changing % bend it keeps adding the new value to the old

    Envelope Distort > Make with warp > when changing % bend it keeps adding the new value to the old. If I have the slider at 20%, then change it to 10%, it warps the object as if it was set to 30%, before I've even hit OK.

  9. Randomly Freezes Ai 24.0.1 - Windows 10 Pro

    I'm using Illustrator 24.0.1 - Randomly freezes, have to shut down using Task Manager. Also sometimes clicking on a shortcut, say to my symbols library, for example, doesn't open illustrator, struggles on some previews. The freezing issue was on the prev release too.

  10. Remebering fractional values in Extrude & Bevel

    You can type in fractional values in Extrude & Bevel and they work fine, although AI rounds them up immediately in fields, though applies to the art.
    But when you try to save this appearance in Graphic style and then re-apply to another art, all fractional bits are gone, AI treats them as integers both ways.

  11. V24.0.1 on PC - Very slow and takes forever to save for a simple file

    This is beyond usable. Trying to save a job and Illustrator is unresponsive and takes approx. 5min to save a simple file.
    Tool use is very sluggish and when changing to the type tool, the program is unusable and greys out becoming unresponsive. Have opened in illustrator diagnostic mode and it just crashes when trying to exit.
    Have turned off save in background and Optimize file open and save times on slow networks all to no avail.

    Trying to exit also takes forever and just greys out.

  12. Can't save. Crashes constantly. Lose Transform controls randomly and have to restart.

    2020 is awful. When it's not crashing, it's telling me it's crashed. Now it refuses to save my work and copying and pasting it's only picking up half what I copy. Awful, awful. I'm on a 2019 Macbook pro.

  13. Saving an existing file creates a new file instead

    I don't know why when I reopen an .ai file to keep working on it and save it, it saves it as a new document instead of updating the file I opened.

  14. Can’t save my files. 'You don’t have enough access privileges. ID: -5000' error.

    Illu wont let me save my files, even though the size is not even that large. I tried restarting my mac and quitting the application a couple times, but still doesnt seem to work.

  15. transparency grid disabled - Drawing area is not visible

    I had this problem only with some files, which created "AI CC23.0 mac".
    If transparency grid enabled, Everything looks normal.

    My System:
    Windows 10
    intel i7 8700K 32gb Ram
    Nvidia Quadro P1000

  17. AI 24.0.1 image embed

    I'm using Illustrator 24.0.1 on Mac. When saving Illustrator file even with Include Linked Files box checked, linked files are automatically embedded.

    Please fix as this is a big issue especially with replacing updated images. Instead of updating automatically, each file has to be replaced again.

  18. text wrap image link

    AI 23.0.3 (64-bit) on Windows 10

    Automatic image update (if you change an image outside of AI it will ask if you want to update the image in you AI file) does not work when text wrap is on.
    The image has been masked to a shape then text wrap on this new shape.

    Hopefully this is a simple fix because I don't want to keep turning text wrapping off when I want to refresh the image.

  19. Stroke width profile selection malfunction after last update.

  20. Artboard Export Improperly Imports in other DV Apps

    When using the Artboard Export (Control Alt E), I noticed that importing those files (in my case, JPEGs) into After Effects and Premiere results in all the files being the last output image of the batch. It doesn't matter if they are imported one at a time or in a group, through Media Browsers, Drag and Drop, or an Import Dialogue box. The files visibly appear correct on the computer when previewed.

    This is experienced when importing into Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere (2019 and 2020). This behavior is not present in Photoshop or even Adobe Acrobat upon import.
