Can't save changes
The illustrator doesn't save changes. I have been saving double file because otherwise I lose what I already worked on

Illustrator not copying svg code to clipboard
After updating to v 27.5, objects that I copy and then paste into other apps are pasting as un-antialiased rasterized images. Previously, the copied data would paste as vectors into apps that accept svg data, and antialiased transparent png images in other apps. To get around this I am first pasting into XD, then copying the data as svg. It would be good to restore the original behavior of the clipboard

Share for review don't show the correct link for the file
- I shared for review a number of files, each time creating a new link for each file
- Now when I open the files and click share it doesn't show the correct link for that file and I can't update the link.

An object with a freeform gradient fill makes the coloring control in the tool panel switched to None
In the tool panel we have three indicator buttons, which show the current type of fill/stroke for the selection — Fill, Gradient, None.
Illustrator switches it to None, when an object with a freeform gradient fill is selected.I can understand why it probably happens. Since freeform gradients are not technically gradients, and using this mode converts an object into a dynamic container for generating a triangular mesh, it makes sense for Illustrator to not display the proper indicator here — the container has no fill... but it makes no sense for a user. Automatic hyphenation with + instead of -
Sometimes (not always), the automatic hyphenation divides the word with an "+" sign, instead of a "-" sign, which it should be. It appears with various fonts, it is NEVER reliable, sometimes I write a PDF for the customer, it has the + inside, I see it, I open the AI again and everything if fine again, without restarting anything or changing anything. Sometimes it gets not written correctly for weeks and I have to hyphenate myself, which we all know, is a drag in Illustrator.
Where is the Problem located, and how do we fix it.

Can't open specific files by double clicking icons (macOS Ventura)
ファイルアイコンをダブルクリックしてもファイルが開かないことがあります。Creative Cloud Files に置いてある .ai データで発生する事象のようですが、正常に開くファイルもあり、法則性は今のところわからないですですが、開かないファイルが置いてあるのと同一のフォルダ内にある他のファイルもことごとく開かないのでフォルダによって挙動が異なるのかもしれません。（フォルダ名やファイル名に関するエラーメッセージなどは CC アプリでは表示されていません）
開かないファイルは Creative Cloud Files からローカルデスクトップに移動またはコピーするとダブルクリックで開きます。1 vote -
There's a problem creating a NEW link to share the document after the initial link has been created.
If you open an exiting document that has been shared with a link, resave the file with a new name, make changes, then try to create a new link, you will get an error.

Bullets and Numbering characters disappear when outlining font
As per my title - If I use bullets and numbering in a text box, when I outline the text in the text box the bullets and numbering completely disappear.

"The file is not readable" Can't paste image into Illustrator without saving it to computer
When I try to paste an image I copied from pinterest/google etc, it always shows "the file is not readable". Now I have to save every image I want and then drag and drop/place it in illustrator. Which is an additional step I don't need and is very frustrating.
I've never had this problem before. Can anyone help?

Save as... it is not working in my MACBOOK Pro
I was working a a project requested by my Teacher. I saved the final project .AI plus I needed it PDF version as I needed share both with my Teacher for grade purposes. But, it is not possible save as PDF or export as image nothing.
When I save, a message error shows up and If I try to open the pdf the same message appears. But, if i look the PDF document saved I can see a miniature of the work. I shared with 3 colleagues and also with my Teacher and all the people said they can visualize…

colourproof is not available
Colourproof is not available (OS 10.15.7 / AI 27.4.1) as preview mode in RGB or CMYK – doesn´t matter. tested various documents.

Glitch in Convert to Shape > Rounded Rectangle effect
When applying Convert to Shape > Rounded Rectangle effect to an object, and applying a corner radius larger than the shape can support, one side of the rounded rectangle is given an extra anchor point with adjustment handles that make an overlap visible. This only occurs on one side of the object.
The desired result is that the corners meet at a single anchor point, as on the right hand side of the objects in the attached AI file.

Illustrator 2023 crashes when clicking the scroll bar in the font selection dialog
Ever since I installed Illustrator 2023 the entire program will hang when using the mouse, trackpad or wacom pen to select the scroll bar in the font selection drop down menu
Fonts can still be chosen using the cursor keys to navigate up and down. Previous versions of Illustrator are still working as expected so I haven't been able to track down a corrupt font.
I have tried a uninstall/reinstall and resetting of preferences. Nothing seems to work.
This is on an M1 Mac (but also has replicated on an Intel Macbook Pro both on MacOS Monterey.

The align tools don't work on rectangle in perspective plane
In particular, the center align button in the align menu doesn't work correctly on a rectangle in a perspective plane. I notice that the bounding box does appear to be correct, but the shape is no longer align with its bounding box. Again, this problem only occurs with objects in a perspective plane. And yes, I am using the perspective selection tool to select the object.

BUG: Saving file breaks paragraphs created with Area Type Tool into separate objects
I am a comic book letterer who has been using Illustrator for this purpose for several years. I have separate layers for artwork, captions, and text. I have been using the area type tool to place text for the speech bubbles, which are oval in shape. While working the layers look fine. Upon Save and then re-opening, however, each of the lines in the speech bubble is saved as a separate text object rather than as a paragraph. On some pages, the text is broken up even further so that the letters are different objects.

Specific gradients across/along stroke with Overprint Stroke option are broken
In the attached file you can see two identical gradients applied to two identical paths. One looks fragmented and shattered, something is really off with the tessellation. The other one is fine.
If you select the weird one disable the Overprint Stroke option in Attributes — it works fine. Choose another and enable the option — it gets corrupted as well.
If you copy either in a new file — the behavior continues. But if you try to reproduce this bug anew in a new file from the scratch — it won’t get reproduced.

Illustrator is crashing all day long, for no reason
Illustrator is crashing straight away, it just crashes and closes, sometimes recovering the file worked on at the time and sometimes not, and for no apparent reason to me. It doesn't crash with a specific file, it has crashed with several. I stopped counting after crashing 20 times in one day. I use a Creative Cloud account where I alternate using it between a Windows computer (at work) and at home on an iMac (home-office) and it only crashes on Windows. Cannot save Illustrator file to Dropbox but can save to Desktop on Mac OS Monterey
I am running Mac OS X Monterey (12.6.5) and Illustrator 2023 on an Intel Mac (Mac Pro 2014). Unusual bug: when I try to save an .ai file to the Desktop, no problem. However, when I try to save to a Dropbox folder, I get a message that I do not have access privileges and I get the -5000 code. Justification attribute to center text in Illustrator API
Why do Justification to aiCenter and Align Center produce different results?
Given myLabel string with at least one line break character in it, when I use JavaScript code like this...Set myFrame = textGroup.TextFrames.Add
