1. It's 2022. Can we get some glaring, long standing bugs fixed please?

   There are long standing user requests for all of these:

   • 'Export for Screens' still adds extra pixels on exports unless the artboards are placed to exact pixels

   • Artboards can't be moved to snap to exact pixels, meaning if you move artboards you probably have to manually remove any decimal places in the artboard position, or else Illustrator will add extra pixels on export...

   • Smart Guides show up when creating or moving artboards, but don't actually work because creating or moving Artboards doesn't snap

   • Artboard names will randomly revert back to old names

   • In the Export for Screens dialog box, Artboard names sometimes show older versions of the artboard name.

   • Smart Guides are still a mess. Items snap to the wrong objects, there's no clear definition of what's being snapped to.

   • We STILL don't have 'Reveal in Explorer/Finder' in the links panel, despite this being under review since 2017 and an obvious feature for Illustrator

   • The 'Export for Screens' panel doesn't allow you to change compression settings or create custom presets

2. Illustrator is always disconnected from Creative Cloud

   Illustrator refuses to load my fonts and color library. It doesn't sync with the creative cloud until much later if at all. I'm a design intern and it's extremely important I use our specific font and colors so not being able to access this really sets me back on my projects.

3. Illustrator auto-close when opening an .ai file

   It closes automatically when I open an .AI file, whether I double-click the file or open it from the illustrator menu.

   I already reinstalled illustrator and the problem continues.

4. Selecting text works poorly

   According to the screenshot, when I press the left mouse button in the place represented by the red triangle, the above text is selected. This place is completely beyond the scope of the word "Nature".

5. Blending paths with brushes and width profiles works wrong.

   Create two lines.
   Apply art or pattern brushes to both of them.
   Apply width profiles to both of them.
   Blend them.
   Ai will generate steps that have uniform profiles instead of intermediate.

   Scatter, calligraphic, and bristle brushes won't let you edit the width profile. I did however test with two calligraphic brush paths with different pressure curves and that was ignored for the intermediary paths. Please test this with bristle and scatter brushes as well.

   (this is essentially a reopening of https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447-illustrator-desktop-bugs/suggestions/41634754-blending-paths-with-width-profiles-works-wrong with a feature that was missed when originally implementing it, as such I just copied and edited Egor's description :) )

6. Undo after deleting a line created with the Pen tool freezes Illustrator

   OS: Windows 10 Enterprise
   AI Version: 25.4.1,
   Bug replicated with three different computers and instances of Illustrator, all same OS, same AI version, same freeze.

   I had a bunch more steps when I ran across this problem, but I was able to replicate it with much fewer steps like so:
   With the pen tool, draw a couple vertices.
   Delete the line you're making from the table of contents.
   Click on the canvas anywhere; the line reappears with a new vertex which you just made.
   Undo the vertex you just made (the first time I did it, it undid the pen without a hitch, every time I've tried to recreate it with an otherwise blank canvas it gives a "can't finish previewing ID:-50" error.)
   If you hit undo again, Illustrator becomes unresponsive.
   I guess it's trying to undelete the line which is already there.
   It's easy to avoid now that I know what I did, but still.

   Expected result: undo to get rid of the line that reappeared (or, didn't expect the line to reappear in the first place).
   Actual result: Undo makes Illustrator become unresponsive.

   OS: Windows 10 Enterprise

7. New Document modal misalignment

   When starting a new file, the modal that pops up where you can determine the document properties/preset details (title, size, orientation, bleed, color space, etc.) has the values for title, dimensions and bleed misaligned inside their bounding boxes.

8. Plugin issues detected

   Some (not all) plugins do not work in Illustrator version 26.3.1. But they work fine in 26.2.1, also they work in all previous versions 26... and 25...
   I tried to fix it, followed the advice "Repair Visual C++ DLL (Windows)", but it did not help https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/kb/plugin-missing-issue.html?trackingid=TG8SLGS2&mv=in-product&mv2=ai

9. Expanding a path with a gradient doesn't expand, just creates a group with the same path

   I want to expand a gradient applied to a path so that I have bands of colour as vectors in place of the gradient.

   I have been using this tool in this way successfully but this week there seems to be a bug: it works until it doesn't and then doesn't work at all.

   If I quit Illustrator and reopen everything it might work again, but with some paths it doesn't work at all. Please see my screenshots.

10. Swatch & Tool Names don't appear when I pause/hover the cursor over them.

    MacOs Monterey 12.0.1

    When you hover over a swatch or tool & leave the cursor there for a second, the name of the swatch/tool always showed along with keyboard shortcuts for many of the tools.

    I was searching the Pantone colors & two colors came up. Rather than just one quick step, I had to do several.

    What should happen:
    I hover the cursor over the colors for a second to see which was which. Then I pick the one I was looking for.

    What happens now:
    I hover the cursor over the colors & nothing shows up. I had to click on the swatch, then open the color window & see which one it is.

    For someone who uses Illustrator most of the day every day for work, this is really annoying & messes up my workflow. I'm also trying to explore & get used to the new version of Illustrator. Little stuff like this creates soooooooo much frustration.

11. Recording Flip Horizontal or Flip Vertical as an Action and running it crashes Illustrator

    Create new action
    Assign F4 as shortcut key
    Record "Flip horizontal" under Transform panel menu
    Stop recording
    Select an object
    Press F4
    Illustrator crashes
    This also happens with Flip Vertical as an action. Does this in any document.

13. Paragraph Style -> Library Bug (Stroke Weight Lost)

    If you create a paragraph style with a thin outline (e.g. 0.25) different from the fill color, and then add that style to the library, the library does not record the weight assigned to the stroke (e.g. 0.25). See images. Note that "Annotations Red", and "Annotations Red Lib" are the same style, I renamed it to prevent an overwrite. As you can see, though the fill and outline colors are correct, the stroke weight resets to default.

    Also your system doesn't allow me to upload screen shots (.jpeg). Not sure what that's about. Here's a link to the my screencaps:

15. Delays and Sluggishness

    For the 30+ years I've been using Adobe Illustrator, I don't think I have every really been bothered by the app or an update until last year. Now when you open AI, make a new file, or try to drag content around on a canvas or move the page around using the hand tool, the app is very lethargic and jerky. It is as if it is validating all actions by an online verification before any action is done. This really makes using the app frustratingly slow.

16. placing (linking) JPGs in illustrator makes files incredibly slow to work with

    Often I create layouts that require linking JPG in my doc. Whenever there are multiple JPGs in my doc, the doc becomes very slow. I do not notice the same performance issue if the linked files are TIFs. This has been an issue for multiple versions of Illustrator.

17. BUG: Tools, workspace and panels move randomly after restart or wake

    Illustrator and photoshop windows move to random positions after every restart or wake. Sometimes they move off screen in a way that makes them difficult to recover. Please fix!

18. Artboard name problem when exporting

    When exporting files in image format the name of the first artboard aways differs from that of its subsequents, being outputed as "Untitled_Artboard 1" instead of "Untitled-01".

    Given that every modification must be done "by hand", it turns out to be very exhausting.

19. "Corner" anchor points become smooth when joining active Curvature Tool line

    Create a line that contains a corner (any tool).
    Begin drawing a second line with the Curvature Tool.
    As part of your new Curvature Tool line, click either end of the first line.

    This causes a conversion of corner points to smooth points.

    I posted this issue on stack exchange (see link below) and was told this was a bug. It certainly wouldn't make sense as a feature, so that seems like a legitimate conclusion.

20. N and M-spaces ruin tabstops
