Cyrilic character disappears when loaded from variable library
When I load a csv variable library that contains the cyrilic character ç in it, this character disappears when I merge it with the template. Using Adobe Illustrator v29.6.1 on a Mac Sequoia 15.5

The entire document fails due to the use of area text linked to different pages. Text is lost, the file freezes, won't save, or is stuck
Mi computador es un MacBook Pro 2022 - Chip Apple M2 - MacOs Sequoia 15.5, pensaba que era un error del Mac por lo que formatee el computador y volví a instalar la suite de adobe, pero no, el error sigue, fue a partir de la actualización hecha después del sábado 28 de Junio. Using Inflate with 3D & Materials gives a [Clr?] error
Ever since it was introduced, I haven't been able to access the new 3D & Materials (only the classic version). With any attempt I make to eg. inflate I get this error message: 'The operation cannot complete because of an unknown error [Clr?]'. I use Illustrator 29.6.1 on a Mac Mini M1.

Baseline Shift units change to points when Language Options gets changed to East Asian
For some reason Ai believes my Baseline Shift units MUST be in points when I choose to use East Asian Language Options, like the GIF shows.

Illustrator 29.6.1: Script error on startup
I get a message of a script error on startup; either InDesign or Photoshop. If I remove the 'offending' script, it moves on to find an error in another file.

Cursor stays invisible after exiting Presentation mode
How to reproduce:
Create a multiple artboard document.
Enter presentation mode.
Do not move the mouse.
Use the left and right arrow keys to view all the art boards.
Note that windows will make the mouse cursor invisible since you are not using it.
Press ESC to return to normal viewing/editing mode.
Now the mouse cursor is invisible.Work around: If you go back to presentation mode and wiggle the mouse and press ESC while the mouse is visible then the mouse will be visible in normal screen mode.

Fitting an artboard to a path with a Freeform Gradient creates invisible border. It seems to create space around the path when fitting — only seems to be an issue with freeform gradients.

Non-global swatches in cloud libraries don't retain names when added in new documents
I have a large cloud library with like 800 swatches for customers that I need to use in multiple different documents. Most of the swatches were uploaded with the global tag so when I use them later on, they still have their name when I add it to the documents. However, some of my swatches are missing the global tag so when I add them later on, they just automatically convert the selected object to CMYK and doesn't add it to my swatch panel.
If it matters, my workflow is selecting the objects that need the new swatches, then clicking…

Bottom of Artboard controls entry fields and text descenders cut off
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a new or existing Illustrator file
2. Look at the bottom left of the screen where the Artboard controls are
3. Observe how close the entry fields/text are to the bottomResult:
OBSERVED:
- The bottom of the entry fields is cut off (see screen shot)
- Entry fields still work as expected
- Resizing the window does not fix the issue
- Happens with main display or on external displayEXPECTED:

Split Into Grid adds printable lines instead of guides
In Split Into Grid window there's an option to "add guides". But instead of guides lines are added that have standard stroke — printable lines that are conveniently in neutral greenish color 0,1 pt stroke and look like guides so it's easy to miss that.

Touch Type's alternate glyphs panel should ignore view rotation.
Okay, just, look at this screenshot. Look at it. Contemplate it for a moment. Ask yourself if this feels like the right thing to do.
The type itself is at about 45º to the edges of the artboard; I've rotated the canvas to roughly align with the type so I can have a better view of it while I think about how to properly deploy Bookmania's glorious OpenType alternate forms.
I really wasn't expecting the Touch Type tool's popup to match the alignment of the canvas' edges but in retrospect I'm not surprised. NOTHING drawn in the preview window aligns…

Unable to export blank canvas using 'Export to Screen Multiple Formats'
Cannot export blank canvas using 'Export to Screen Multiple Formats'.

Crash on new artboard
Every time I click on the "+" under my artboards window, it crashes. I have 24 artboards already, and if I duplicate one using Option click drag, it seems ok. But New Artboard crashes again and again.

Perspective grid vertical axis has incorrect foreshortening
The vertical axis of the perspective grid has an incorrect scale/foreshortening factor. For example, if you show a cube, it appears too tall.

Object size (width/height) swapped in control bar.
See attached screenshot. Control bar shows the width and height of the object/rectangle incorrectly. 'Transform' box shows correct info, but control bar swaps the 2 dimensions.

[ExtendScript] Cannot set some TextRange.characterAttributes after TextFrame.resize.
We cannot successfully set some TextFrame.textRange.characterAttributes after the TextFrame has been resized using TextFrame.resize.
(Tested on MacOS 15.4.1 Adobe Illustrator 29.5.1)
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create new document
2. Run the below scriptExpected Result: all tests passed and no alert message appears.
Actual result: Failed to set characterAttributes.size to 12.

Gray popup about Unpropping appears again and again
A grey popup appears constantly whenever I am ungrouping things to tell me about ungrouping.
Nothing in Preferences makes this go away and I see it repeatedly so closing it once doesn't work either. I really don't need training wheels and this should be one simple option to disable all large tooltips, blue popups and gray popups. There are already enough idiosyncrasies and distractions with Illustrator.2 votesThe fix is expected to land in the next Beta build. These messages should and hopefully will be displayed once only.
