Linked Files Crop changing when reopening a file
I linked .ai files placed with a "bounding box" crop from the import options. When this file with the linked file is closed and reopened, the links already placed automatically switch to a "media" crop. This causes the linked file to appear much smaller.

Change case feature not working.
I am trying to change from uppercase to lowercase. Using 26.5.1 (64-bit) version. I wish I had not upgraded as it crashes every few minutes. Steps: highlight text; Type-->Change case-->lowercase. (In the attached video the Type drop down does not appear in the recording; follow the mouse.
1 voteToni, for some reason you have All Caps option enabled in the Character panel for this particular text selection (or rather the whole type on path object).
Once disabled, Ai stops to force the capitalization for it, and the result of Change Case commands start to be visible.
I agree though it can be tough to discover.
If anyone else happen to have this exact problem — please add your votes, so the team can get data on reviewing this in the future.

URGENT: Enter key does not work in any Type Tools Illustrator Beta 26.6.555
Adobe Tech Support was unable to resolve.
This was not a problem in the prior release of 26.6 before .555
When using the type tool in any form, horizontal, vertical, etc., the enter key no longer inserts either a [CR] or [CR LF].
This is inconvenient for working with headlines or titling (attached graphic), but an absolute dealbreaker for working with long text.

Slow performance / undesirable switch to CPU preview
Operating system: macOS Catalina 10.15.7
Illustrator: 26.5When turning on rulers or editing the artboard, Illustrator switches to CPU preview, which is very slow.
After closing and reopening the file, the gpu preview is active. (If i don't save the file with rulers turned on)

Colors in newly created files get neon-like saturated
I have created some new files while being connected to a projector (NEC).
When opening the same files later without being connected to the projector, the colors are extremely saturated.File saved without an embedded color profile as I always do.

View Using GPU Gets Greyed Out Permanently with Outline Mode
Hello, with fresh preferences, 'View using GPU' and scrubby zoom are enabled in Illustrator. if I turn on Outline Mode, Illustrator loses connection with my GPU. The 'View using GPU' option becomes greyed out and never restores. In order to get it back I have to delete my preferences. Here is my system info:
Illustrator 25.1
OS: Windows 10
GPU: 2 x NVIDIA Titan Black
RAM: 64 GB Memory
GPU Driver: Driver 460.89

Select all in an isolated group selects and allows to move locked and hidden objects
Imagine a group. Let's isolate it and hide one object, lock another, and leave the third one as it is. Ctrl+A to select all and then move the selection. Illustrator then moves all the objects, despite it does not behave like this on canvas.
If you check layers, you’ll see that Illustrator targets all children (double circle markers) but not a parent (the recent fix), and selects all objects including the parent (big square markers).
If you try to move the selection, all objects get moved.
This is not what happens if we try to select objects on canvas, locked…

Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

Hindi character paste in incorrectly
When I copy Hindi text from another source (such as Outlook) and paste it into a text box in illustrator, the characters appeared in the wrong order

Whole compound path gets affected when rounding a corner
I have added a few shapes and then wanted to round only 2 anchor points, but as you can see here, other points are affected, even though they are NOT selected

Problem with <use> element of SVG files
In SVG 1.0/1.1, the <use> element uses the
xlink:hrefattribute to refer to objects; In SVG 2.0, the attribute was changed tohref. Illustrator supports the former, but not the latter, content will be lost when opening such a file.Below is a simple test case (saved as a

Illustrator 2023 crash
He realizado un diseño en Adobe Illustrator 2022 y luego de guardarlo y cerrarlo lo intento abrir y por mas que intento no abre, el programa se queda cargando un poco y luego se cierra automaticamente. No me abre, el archivo es un poco pesado y tardaría pero igualmente deberia abrir. He estado con soporte y aun así no han conseguido el error.

Crash on creating new file
I updated to Illustrator 2023 (v27.0.0) a few days ago. Now, whenever I launch and try to create a new file, the program crashes. I can't do anything. I'm running MacOS 12.6.

Image appears different in review link than in illustrator desktop app
When I share my illustrator design through the BETA share option one of my graphics displays differently through the link than it does in Illustrator. See screenshot. Image from the review link and image in the actual illustrator file.

Playing Save for Web operation from action produces different result than a direct operation
- Rename the .txt file to .aia
- Load this file as a set into Actions panel
- Open the .ai document (make sure that linked .tif file is loaded)
- Export the file using Save For Web command. Set size to 200% and save the result as 1.jpg
- Run the 'Test' action form the loaded set. Save the image as 2.jpg
Compare both files. 2.jpg is looking more red than 1.jpg
No profiles attached to JPGs.- Run the action again
- While the S4W dialog is open, go to Optimize menu (hamburger button in top right corner) and disable 'Convert to sRGB' option

Dash lines display incorrectly on rectangles with rounded corners. Ai CC2022.
The lower right corner is rendered incorrectly if you apply rounded corners to rectangles with dashed lines.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Draw a rectangle, 3 x 4 inches (for example).
2. Apply 0,25 in of corner radius.
3. Change the stroke to 6 pt and set the dashed line at your taste.
4. Look at the bottom right corner of the rectangle.
