  1. MBP 2018 - GPU render, performance extremely slow

    macOS Mojave 10.14.2, Illustrator 23.0.1

    Performance on MBP 2018 (32GB) is extremely low, even on simple compositions. Working with graphic with active effect 'Drop Shadow' is almost impossible. I have feeling like working od PC from 2008. In outline mode works much better.

    On PC (i7 8700, gtx 1060) the same composition works like a charm.

  2. Dragging multiple groups by text anchor deselects other groups.

    See attached video. With multiple groups selected, clicking and dragging by one of the group's text anchor deselects all other groups. Only the group with the selected text gets moved.

  3. missing fonts logged in error

    When I open a document with missing fonts, the 'resolve missing fonts' screen keeps telling me I'm currently logged out of Creative Cloud, and to go to "help/log in". This despite the fact I'm logged in, and going to "help" shows my account name and logged in status..

    Hi,

    Apologies for the inconvenience caused to you due to this issue and getting back to you this late.
    We are unable to reproduce this issue in house.
    Can you help the Illustrator team to isolate this issue further so that we can nail this down?
    If yes, then please let me know the following:
    1) Is this Issue still happening on your machine in the Latest version 23.0.3 ?
    2) If yes , Kindly follow the steps mentioned on the Kb Article "https://helpx.adobe.com/in/fonts/kb/troubleshoot-font-activation.html

    If they don’t solve the problem, collect the logs as per instruction in the troubleshooting page and email to fontsupport@adobe.com and support@typekit.com .

  4. Paste on All Artboards Not Working

    I have a design on a single artboard. I want to paste it to other artboards to prepare my color separations for screen printing. When I cut the design and select Paste on All Artboards, it pastes the design the correct amount of times...but NOT on the artboards. It pastes them out in the gray area. I have tried different artboard arrangements, and having different artboards active at the time of paste, but the designs still end up not on the artboards.

  5. Link option in inactive in the Place dialog, even after a name is pasted from clipboard

    I am working on a huge document with hundreds of linked images. All files are now changed due to company policy. So I need to relink a bunch of files. This is not possible automatically so I believed I found a solution. But the shortcut was devastating. If i choose say 10 links which have the same name, lets call them Image1 but now the name should be Image01. Same image is in other words used in several places in same file. I marked the links and chose Relink. So far so good.

  6. color mix

    Using Adobe Illustrator 23.0.1 CC 2019. My CMYK color 100-85-0-0 changes to 99.17-83.58-1.74-0.02. My document color mode is set to CMYK. How do I keep original l color mix?

  7. Illustrator doesn't open

    I simply can't open Illustrator anymore. The screenshot below shows how Illustrator appears when it's open. I can only see the top bar, none of the actual interface. I'm working on MacOS Mojave Version 10c.14.1 Illustrator version 23.01

    I even tried uninstalling and installing it again but nothing changed.

  8. Keyboard Increments in preferences doesn't work.

    I set my Keyboard Increment to .0139 and anchor points move correctly. Then I change it to .00139, which has alway worked in the past, it now jumps about 10X the correct distance. I restarted. No change. I uninstalled, then reinstalled. No change. I restarted my computer. No change. I can't work with it like this. How do I get this fixed?

  9. Uneven stroke

    Newest version of Illustrator has now changed my .001 cut size of a stroke in some places from a clean thin line to a jagged mess. Some of the former .001 lines are still unchanged? These are shared with clients and look horrible!
    Running on Windows 10.

  11. .AI an d XD files not opened by default on Windows 10

    Ashutosh Chaturvedi, sorry but one of your issues is not totally fixed, you have many users who are waiting for an answer for the .ai an wd files wich are supposed to by opened by default by thèse two softwares by double-clicking. This issue is not fixed on Windows 10. Thank you for your time and you answer ASAP.

    Please get in touch with us at any of the other support channels – https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html . Since this is not a generic issue that we can reproduce at our end, we will need someone to look into your machine to figure out what is going on here.

    Before you do that are you manually able to change file association of .ai file to another application say Notepad.exe ? There is another issue with file association going around.   13. Illustrator issues, SVG only?

    When using CC (updated to v. 23), illustrations appear distorted when rendered with stylesheet. During troubleshooting, I open a colleague's SVG illustration in CS6 as well as CC v.23 and compare. See attachments. CC distorts both content size and artboard size. We never had this issue with CS.

  15. Cannot view 150% zoom level

    1. Illustrator CC 20.1 (64-bit); Windows 10-64
    2. Trying to zoom to 150% by selecting the preset option from the zoom drop-down menu, or using Ctrl++
    3. Expected result: document is shown at 150% zoom (actual size due to DPI scaling issues)
    4. Actual result: zoom preset goes to 200% and document is shown at 200%. This only happens with this document and not others; it contains both vector and raster data. For some reason I can zoom at every other preset except 150% (true actual size)

  16. Illustrator CC is in Overprint mode super slow

    Dear User Voice Team,

    While working in overprint view , Illustrator slows down and starts freezing

    Im working on:
    HP Z440
    Intel Xeon E5 1620 v4 @ 3.50 GHz
    64 GB DDR4
    NVIDIA Quadro P4000 - 8192 MB
    Windows 10 Pro - 64 bit

    We have 2 other computers with specifications below, which work perfectly fine :

    1) Asus ROG G75 VW
    Windows 10 Pro - 64 bit
    Intel® Core™ i7 3610QM
    16 GB - DDR3 1600 MHz SDRAM
    NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 670M with 3GB GDDR5
    Illustrator CC 2018

    2) iMac (27-inch, late 2013)
    macOS High Sierra - Version 10.13.6…

    Sorry to hear that you are facing this issue. And, Sorry for getting back so late. we are not able to reproduce this issue in-house.
    1. Are you still getting this issue on latest version of Illustrator?
    2. Would it be possible for you to share the video of the same?

  17. Lags horribly...I cannot do anything because of this. This was before and after update. This happens with Adobe PDF too.

I haven't tried other CC apps but Pages (not an Adobe app) works fine and so does the internet. I removed Windows Bootcamp from my Mac thinking that it was a space issue. At this rate I am unable to get any work done. Very frustrating

  19. Illustrator won't export SVGs - V. 23.0.1

    When trying to export (for screens) artboards and/or assets, it does create subfolders but won't export any SVGs.

    It does export PNGs etc but not SVGs.
