  1. Impossible to enter color values into Color panel

    When I try to enter numerical values into the Color panel, I can enter the first and sometimes the second number, but when I tab over or click on the next field, all of the fields go blank and the cursor switches back to the first field.

  2. Perspective Selection tool

    Moving an object I want to put in perspective leaves an afterimage, what does not disappear and contains parts of the background.

  3. Objects just vanish when rasterizing inside a clipping mask

    Okay, this is seriously annoying. In the latest Illustrator on Windows, if you rasterize inside a clipping mask, poof — your objects are gone.

    Steps (super easy to test):

    Draw a bunch of objects and group them.
    Make a shape and apply a clipping mask.
    Double-click to go inside the group.
    Select everything and rasterize.
    And just like that... everything disappears.

    If you leave even one object out of the selection, they don’t disappear.

    But when you select all → gone.

    If I only rasterize one object, or part of them, it works fine. But if I select all? Illustrator…

  4. Illustrator uses 100% CPU, sustained, even when idle and no documents open

    I've observed many times that when Illustrator (29.7.1, on macOS 15.6) is idle in the background, it's running a 100% CPU task. Even if I close all of its open documents, the CPU use is at 100% CPU, and stays there until I quit.

  5. "Learn the tools" popups appearing on their own

    The Learn popups for the tools on the tool bar keep appearing on their own whenever I am in the application. I have to wipe my mouse over them for them to disappear, just for them to keep popping up when I am using Illustrator. This continues to happen the entire time I am in the application.

  6. Character Panel Type, Leading and Scaling sizes have extra added decimals

    Ai 2025 v29.5 / Mac Sequoia 15.6 / M1 Macbook Pro / 32GB RAM - but happening on other macs with different configurations as well but same Ai version.
    We're noticing extra decimals are being added as shown in the attached screenshot. Despite choosing sizes from the drop-downs and then saving the file, the decimals return. I see a few others have posted about this previously but I haven't seen any resolution posts. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

  7. Moving a part of a blend with any Selection tool makes it move faster than expected

    In 29.7.1 (and Beta 29.9.0.6) when I move one object in a blend with any selection tool, inside or outside of isolation, it moves twice as much.

  8. Font styles applied to portions of text 'slide' / shift positions when area type overflows

    Illustrator 29.7.1 on Mac Ventura 13.5.2 (22G91)

    I dont' know whether it's related to this current issue, but now I have parts of my text that change appearance when I'm trying to change the Font weight of another part, or when I try to type more text.

    The workaround I have found it copy-pasting the text into a new Textbox. But still, this needs to be fixed.

  9. Bug - Cannot access Hands on tutorials

    I was doing the hands on tutorials and then I loaded into the app and the section for them was gone in my tutorials tab. I found the webpage online that allows me to launch hands on tutorials from browser https://www.adobe.com/learn/illustrator?tutorialType=inApp&learnIn=1 and it leads to the screenshot provided. I would love to be able to continue doing the hands on tutorials. I ensured that I have no VPN installed, I updated graphics drivers, and reinstalled Illustrator to no avail.

  10. Layer Assigned Color Changing Post Update

    Hello, After the update (August 12, 2025?) my Adobe Illustrator template layers change to black after saving a new project. I have built a template with many layers and assigned a color to each layer. After the update, when I open the template and save it as a new project, or simply update the template and save it, all layers that had an assigned color change to black. Is this a bug or an issue on my end?

  11. Pattern Scale Not Working

    My pattern scale has stopped working recently for user created patterns (it works ok on the default patterns). Previously I could create a pattern but dragging into the swatch menu, and then when I dragged the corners, the scale of the pattern would adjust along with the size of my shape. Now it does not.

    I have checked that "Transform Both (object and pattern)" is selected from the Transform Panel dropdown, along with Settings > General > Transform Pattern Tiles is also checked on.

  12. Duplicating Artboard will unlock and show locked and hidden elements.

    When using the Artboard Tool and clicking on a + sign next to an artboard while holding the Alt/Option key to duplicate an artboard with its contents, Illustrator will Show and Unlock all hidden and locked objects/layers.
    It does this only the first time, when using Undo and trying again it works correct.

  13. Restore Highlighted Ruler Markers when moving objects

    This is a feature that was there before the last major updates. To explain, previously when you say, make a duplicate of one object and drag it across the artboard, you would see the little marker move across the ruler while holding the object. Since it is now gone, there is heavy guesswork going on when I'm trying to move close to a specific distance. This request is in regard to this tool only. I know all about distributing objects, etc. I'm just looking to restore this little feature that dropped from this tool.

  14. Crashes immediately when adding a leader before a "tate-chu-yoko" text in vertical orientation

    Guaranteed immediate crashing upon adding a leader in the Tabs panel to a tabbed gap right before a character that's set as tate-chu-yoko.
    Now I have to use bad workarounds just to circumvent this...
    Hope it gets fixed soon.

  15. Recent colors become None when Global or Spot Colors are used

    Some Recent Colors are displayed as the None Swatch when Spot or Global colors have been added to the Recent Colors.
    Turn on in the Edit > Color Settings all checkboxes for warnings about Mismatches or Missing profiles.
    The default is unchecked. When they are unchecked, you will get no warning when opening a file with Global (or Spot) Colors in the Recent Colors and the file just opens without showing the problem.

  16. ESC key not exiting text editing and isolation modes in Illustrator 2025 on macOS and PC

    On macOS (latest version), ESC key does not exit text editing mode in Illustrator 2025 as it used to in previous versions.
    Resetting preferences and keyboard shortcuts does not fix it. I created a new action to perform the exit task temporarily.
    Expected behavior: ESC should exit text mode.

  17. Can't select linked png/bmp files when they have transparent backgrounds.

    Placing several linked BMP or PNG files with transparent backgrounds causes them to become randomly unselectable by clicking on them. You have to go to outline mode, find and select the edge of the image, or select with marquee tool and then carefully unselect the extra objects. Either way, it cannot be moved except to click on the edge of the images frame. This has been an issue for years. I think I may have even posted about it before, but can't find that now. IMO this is an issue that should be escalated as it such a basic operation…

  18. I think its a Paragraph Style bug thats affecting the latest version of Illustrator 2025 version 29.7.1

    I recently updated to version 29.7.1 of Illustrator 2025. All of a sudden my template file started crashed Illustrator at startup. The file opens in Illustrator 2024 - but not 2025. Troubleshooting the file - slowly deleting bits and pieces from the template file I managed to discover that the bit that was crashing Illustrator 2025 was a single block of text. The block of text has a Paragraph style in it and I think it might be this which is causing the crash (or it could be something else? Fonts). I've isolated the block and pasted it into the…

  19. This file will not allow viewing in GPU mode on my computer. It works fine on other computers.

    Apple M2 Max Macbook Pro 16-inch, 2023 OS 15.6 (24G84)

    Using Illustrator 29.7.1

    Upon opening this file (attachement wouldn't work - please provide another way to transfer) I can not use GPU mode no matter what I do. I tried reinstalling all of Creative Cloud, and then completely wiped my computer and started fresh. The file is still glitchy. It seems to only happen on my computer. Colleagues do not have an issue with the file. Happy to provide the packaged file, just can't upload zip here.

  20. Files don’t save! Saving starts and never finishes and can’t be cancelled

    The saving process starts as soon as I ask for it, but then it never finishes.
    This issue is happening since I download the latest version (29.7.1)

    The problem is not even letting me to close the program in the computer because "Illustrator is currently saving the document and will close it once the save process is complete" signal is appearing so I need to finish the task from the task administrator in the computer
