Eyedropper doesn't work on groups
When I select a group and I try to use the eyedropper tool, this seems to not work.
In the fill box in the toolbar it appears as the colour already changed, but the group still looks with the original colour.
If I ungroup the group, or if I unite the group with the pathfinder (plus cmd+8), then the eyedropper works regularly, but this is not the ideal way to work. I already contacted the support online, but the issue hasn't been sorted out properly.I use MacOS High Sierra — Version 10.13.6

Now groups get the applied appearance positioned above the Contents in the Appearance panel.

AI displays an error dialog on opening a file having STROKE OFFSET effect applied to a STRAY object
Continue to get this error message even though I've uninstalled/reinstalled every CC product including the loader app. Then there's an additional message, "An error occurred while processing the appearance of an object." It happens when switching out from outline mode, also when copying multiple items and then trying to paste them.

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 23.0.6 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

Rasterizing a clipped image/group of objects results in extra white space in the resulting image.
If I rasterize a clipped image, the result is the same size as the clipped image but with extra whitespace surrounding the clipping boundaries. Expected result, IMO, should be that the resulting image is only as large as the clipping object.

Live font preview panel isn´t working
Hi to all.
I think that this is a old bug, but I already update AI to the latest version (CC 22.1) and the problema remains… This is really frustrated. Can you please, help?

Keyboard doesn't register shortcuts
My Illustrator CC 2018 (last update) has a bug with the keyboard. It happens after couple of hours working on a project then the keyboard doesn't register any shortcut from the panel. The only way to fix this is to restart my Mac. Is there solution for this bug?

Menus are too large
This is only an Illustrator problem where the drop down menus and dialog pop ups are way too large compared to the rest of the user interface. I've tried every solution. Running this on Windows 10 Pro on a 2K screen.

Guides preventing "Delete Empty Artboard"
- Mac OS 10.12.6
- Delete art from artboards try to delete empty artboard
- Expect empty artboards to be deleted
- Nothing
If I delete guides that cross those empty artboards, artbaords can be deleted.

Illustrator files explorer window bug
Hi,
Please see attached screenshot. There is bug on your file explorer window. All recent files and cc files are floating EXTREMELY to the left. There is so much real-estate space on the right. There is also no horizontal scrollbar.

Asset export drag&drop doesn't work for group contents.
- Enter a Group of objects in isolation mode.
- drag'n'drop an object or a subgroup into an Asset Export tab
Expected: object added as Asset for export.

Problem merging dates from CSV into graph
When merging data into an Illustrator file to create a batch of bar graphs based on a group of CSV files, numerical dates merge into the graph data as numbers with decimals instead of dates. A 6/30/16 date merges into Illustrator as 6.00 and 12/31/16 becomes 12.00, so every date with the same month appears the same. This also messes up the graph, leaving the chart with two categories instead of one of the data columns being assigned to the x-axis.
This includes when dates are formatted (in Excel) as text, and when the dates include hyphens or periods instead…

Artboard resizing bug
Artboard bug causes a wrong or erraticaly behavior. Just trying to change the artboard height and when I click [ok] and check it again, the value remains the same. Please, check the movie.

Pasting previously copied objects to random places
Illustrator pastes copied objects to random places outside of the view area.
I have to zoom out and look for the pasted object somewhere outside the artboard. Since updated to the latest version of the software. 1 voteUnless we get specefic actionable items it will not be possible for us to correct. Performance can be due to variety of reason a file type , a particular type of object on the file (e.g. a large raster), some interference with software that interfere with our event etc… Please help us to help you.

Not responsonding
Every time I am working in Illustrator & switch to a different app, Illustrator will hang when I return causing me to wait prior to returning to my work. So, for example if I am working on an illustration then go to google chrome to look at something online then return to my work in Illustrator it will hang & become unresponsive for a little bit of time (1 - 2 minutes) after waiting I can continue to work . Ungroup hotkey does not work
'Ungroup' keystroke (CTRL+SHIFT+G) does not work. I even went into the keyboard shortcuts and tried to reassign that keystroke to the command, and it won't let me. 'Group' (CTRL+G) works great. Clicking ungroup in the properties panel is the only thing that works.

Paste Remembers Layers doesn't work if original layer is hidden
Steps:
Create object on layer.
Copy object.
Hide layer.
Create new layer.
Paste object with new layer selected.It will warn you that the layer you're attempting to paste onto is hidden. But... no it's not. I have the "Paste remembers layers" checkbox turned off.
This is either a bug, or someone should stick close to someone who actually understands user expectations.

Autosave / Autorecovery gets disabled on its own
Windows 10, AI CC (latest release)
Autosave disables itself. When AI crashes - as it does - I get nothing.
I set auto-save for every 2 minutes in preferences. Then, after Illustrator crashes, I go back in to preferences to find it has unchecked that option. Nothing. I lose a load of work.
There are no expletives for how I feel about this. PLEASE sort it out?
