Unable to activate fonts because "Not signed in" even though I am signed in!
I am trying to open an Illustrator file that has two fonts which are not installed on my computer.
When I open the file, a dialog comes up and I click the "Find Fonts" button. However, it gives me an error saying that I am not signed in (see attachment "not signed in").
I am not able to click the Help menu option because the Find Font dialog window does not allow me to focus on the main window.
When I close the Find Font dialog, I check the help menu to discover that I am, in fact signed in!…

When I export as png, application crashes
Adobe version: 22.1, OS: Windows 10 (the adobe application is on a virtual desktop for security reasons.)
From the last 2 weeks, I have not been able to export to png. This was never an issue until recently. I get a prompt for export for multiple screens. I've tried exporting it in multiple dpi (72, 192, and 300). This also crashes. I've tried choosing a single asset and exporting selection. This also results in a crash.
Please help me find a solution.

Adobe Illustrator 23.0.1 does not open files while running.
The Issue:
Adobe Illustrator won't open files ( .ai .eps , etc ) when Illustrator is running.
Won't open files from Bridge, or explorer by double clicking or right click-> open with.
Won't open files that are downloaded, by clicking on them,
Won't open files from Internet Explorer with option: OpenIllustrator Does open files when the program is not running.
I did not install any additional plugins.
Adobe Illustrator version:
CC 23.0.1 ( Windows)Creative Cloud App Version:
4.7.0.400i've checked files association in Win10, and in Adobe Bridge, reinstalled the app, updated, resetarted my computer.

Unable to save to Illustrator 8 legacy format
Illustrator 23.0.1 (64-bit)
Windows 7 Pro SP1 x64File saved as Illustrator 8 cannot be reopened by Illustrator CC 2019 or earlier versions.
Create simple file (can be blank, but this doesn't show the full problem.
Save as Illustrator 8 format.
Attempt to ope.
Error message (see screenshot) is displayed.
Click OK.

Illustrator won't export SVGs - V. 23.0.1
When trying to export (for screens) artboards and/or assets, it does create subfolders but won't export any SVGs.
It does export PNGs etc but not SVGs.

CC 2019 hangs/crashes on quitting on Windows
Everything was fine until i signed out and singed in again the subscription license 2 weeks ago, on my Windows 7 system.
Each time when i try to close Illustrator, it hangs. I tried the following, but does not work:
- sign out and sign again the license

Hi,
This problem has persisted for a long time. On the image I have attached you can see that there is a vertical white line to left of the red square. When exporting the white line is still there – the only way to avoid it is to have the graphics stretched beyond the artboard before exporting.
Why has this never been fixed??

Illustrator does not open files or create new files; macOS High Sierra 10.13.3
I'm running Illustrator CC 2019 on a MacBook running High Sierra 10.13.3 I cannot open files or create new files at all.

Hide File Extension on Export
It's very annoying that when exporting to .jpg, etc. the hide file extension box is automatically checked. This is awful. Why?!?

Illustrator CC 2019 (v3.0)
I generate a PDF from Illustrator with "High Quality Print" option and unable to view in Acrobat DC.
This is happening only after I update the Illustrator CC 2019 (v23.0)

Can't drag and drop or place png or jpeg files
macOS Mojave Version 10.14
MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2016, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports)Illustrator 23.0
I try to drag and drop or place png/jpeg files and nothing happens. When selecting and pasting an image an error message says 'Not enough memory to place file.' This never happened before updating to 23.0

illustrator wont open file windows
I have searched the support site and user voice with no results.
When I attempt to drag an *.ai file from the explorer window to Illustrator, or when I double click the file, it does not open. When I double click the file, Illustrator opens or switches to the window, my cursor briefly shows the 'thinking' animation but nothing happens.
- There is no freeze or crash
- Restart of the application did not fix the issue.
- File>>Open is the only way I can open files
- This happens to all files whether created with CC 2019 or earlier versions

Cannot open .ai files after update. Windows 10
After new October update for Illustrator CC 2019, I can no longer open .ai files? I get the 'how to you want to open this file?' window appear.
If I right click .ai file > properties > opens with, change. and select the correct Illustrator it still does not change!

AI crashes on opening PDFs
Attempting to open a PDF proof generated from InDesign, AI quits without warning. Either using right-click/Open With… or File -> Open from within AI produces this result.

Export as SVG: linked image gets deleted
Hi All,
I have an issue when exporting to SVG.
I created an AI file with a linked jpg image as a background, and some text on top.
When I export to SVG, the original jpg image gets deleted (I mean the original file, it disappears from Finder, it's not even in the recycle bin) and then Illustrator gives me the message "Some files are missing or modified in the links panel. Would you like to update them now?".

Saving ai files in illustrator cc 2019 takes +30 minutes to do
Hi there. I have a Macbook Pro 2012 with 16GB ram and OS Mojave. I downloaded illustrator 2019 on 18/19 Oct and I was working in it fine until yesterday when my files take forever to save meaning that my mac is frozen for approx. 30 minutes. Its super frustrating

Can't use 'Export As" as an action to export jpg
I have created an action for export as JPG, but when I play the action, I got an error message say "can't save the illustration" The object is not currently available

the letter "i" is sometimes not exported to SVG
the letter "i" is sometimes not exported to SVG..
For example: i tried to export the following paragraph to SVG:
"Synchronization job is designed to perform file transfer between multiple agents back and forth, or perform one-way file transfer. Files in the shares can be modified, new file added and some deleted, and these changes synced to other agents in real time."the word "file" always gets exported as "fle"
