  1. black screen problem

    When creating a new document or opening an existing document in Illustrator, I get a black screen (see attached). I have to resize the window to be able to work. This is not ok.
    Version 22.1, MacOS 10.13.3, MacBook Pro with external monitor as main screen.

    Thanks for confirming that it is working fine in 23.0.3

  2. Workspaces not working at all

    Today (Mar 19th, 2018) I updated Illustrator and upon (re)launching, NONE of my pallets/Windows opened into the application. When I try to switch to built-in or custom Workspaces, nothing changes. The Workspace STAYS selected as my previously-selected Workspace and none show up. If I manually go look at the Windows in the menu, none are open and I can MANUALLY open them and move them around... "Manage Workspaces" and "New Workspace" are disabled (Gray) and no matter what I do, I cannot change or override. I have quit/relaunched numerous times - same results.

  3. Bounding box suddenly disappears using Selection Tool

    Suddenly disappears, but when a select scale then select the "Selection Tool" again the Bounding box reappears. When it is gone, togglingthe quick key, has no effect though t changes the menu state for turning it on and off. Also, when it can't be seen, a small icon for the bounding box is in the corner, occasionally.

    Sound familiar to anyone else?

    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 23.0.6 which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

  4. Using Tab to advance to next dialog box field only works occasionally

    Editing text in latest Illustrator (immediately after update)... can't tab between font-size and leading fields - I can get it to work momentarily by closing the box and trying again, but the big returns the next time I try to edit text.

  5. Drop shadow bug on modal dialogs

    Modal dialogs in Illustrator 22.0.1 (64-bit) on Windows are rendering incorrectly for me.

  7. Can't drag layers in layers palette

    I suddenly cannot drag layers in the layers palette. I just need to place a layer on top of another, which I've been doing for over a decade. Please fix this now.

  8. Document as tabs does not work

    Cannot get Open Documents as Tabs to work. If more than one document is open how can I switch between documents.

  9. shortcut delay

  10. accept both full stop and comma as decimal separator

    Illustrator is very picky when it comes to entering decimal fractions in input fields. E.g. when using Dutch as keyboard language, the . is not allowed, and ignored, so we have to use the comma, which does not reside on the num keypad.
    Please make Ai accepting both the . and the ' as a decimal separator.

  11. Drag-n-drop across documents to locked layer warning

    Please see the animation.

    I have two documents, one with current layer is locked.
    When I try to drag my artwork from other document (in this locked layer, about which I very often don't remember), AI should have said something about 'You are attempting to paste or drag into one or more layers that are locked or hidden. Do you want to unlock and show all appropriate layers?'...

    But in my case it does not.
    I remember seeing it from time to time, but often it stops appearing.
    I have nothing as result, no warning, no message, nothing.

  12. 4k scaling glitch

    When opening Ai on my pc with 4k resolution, a lot of the content on the menu page i off, and I can't resize them to see the rest.
    This is also current in the "new document" setup.
    Very irritating.

  13. Zoom Tool – Zoom out sometimes doesn't work

    I often zoom out by selecting the Zoom Tool from the toolbar, then holding down 'Option' and clicking the mouse to zoom out. This does work most of the time, but sometimes it doesn't work and I have to click another tool option then click back to Zoom for it to work properly.

    Not sure if there's something specific I'm doing before to prevent it from working, or if it's just random.

  15. user interface PPI mixed, wrong, "new" dialog unusable

    see attached picture
    this used to happen more intermittently but recently it's happening every time. creating new items is completely broken.
    different panels appear at 100% scale, while others appear at 200% scale it seems.

    affects the actual menus and the common open/save file dialog sometimes

    when I restart illustrator, restart the machine, or dock/undock monitors it changes in seemingly unpredictable ways

  16. Bug: Object Coordinates Not Aligning with Page

    When trying to align two groups of objects, the coordinates in relation to the actual position on the page do not match the coordinates in the Y axis value box. (see attached images)

    The top edge of the object is -108", the middle is 5.5" (actual is ~3.5") and the bottom edge is 119" on an 8.5x11" layout.

    Details:
    * It happens when the group of objects on the layer is selected
    * Objects did not indicate any parts outside of it's rectangle selection area that would throw off the measurements (triple checked)

  17. The interface doesn't appear

    When I open Ai, the interface never load(1). If I pass the cursor over the top, that bottons appear(2). And, if I select a new color of interface appear the rest(3), but if I press "Ok", that disappears.

  19. Unable to assign CMD+Z to Undo tool

    I am using Illustrator CC 2018 22.0.1 for Mac (High Sierra 10.13.2) and I am having trouble assigning CMD + Z to my "Undo" tool. After my last update, I had lost nearly all of the default keyboard shortcuts (I had never customized them before so I assume they were the defaults) like cmd + s = save, cmd + c = copy, cmd + v = paste, etc. which was really frustrating to always have to go to the menu bars to do small actions.
