1. Jaggy / Pixelated prints from Illustrator

   Illustrator only produces pixelated / jaggy print-outs. This issue persists at least since 2008. I suspect a printing engine that is made for PostScript printers. I only use normal printers (laser and ink jet, large and small).

   ALL other apps print fine on these machines / systems / printers. The same vector document printed from Ai is jaggy - printed from other apps looks fine. -See attachment:

2. export as artboard does not work

   when i open illustrator and do my work lets say like 8 artboards and i want to save them one by one different pdf files when i do save as and say only artboard number 1 it does not save only 1 it saves whole other artboards with it too i notice that only because it consumes too much space and i can only see the other hidden artboards if i open the saved pdf with illustrator only

3. Hauptmenü nicht sichtbar

   Jedes mal wenn ich Illustrator öffne zeigt sich die Startseite nicht. Das Einzige was zu sehen ist, ist die Oberste Leiste (Datei Bearbeiten Objekt etc) der Rest des Screens ist grau. Wenn ich mit der Maus an bestimmte Stellen klicke funktioniert noch alles, ich kann nur nichts außer grau sehen. Auch wenn ich über die obere Leiste eine neue Datei erstellen will, zeigt es mir nur ein graues Fenster an (ich kann also nicht sehen wo ich z.b das Format einstellen kann). Sobald ich dann eine Datei geöffnet habe funktioniert ales wieder und ich sehe alles in der Datei, nur die Startseite sehe ich nie.
   Ich hab auch schon Illustrator sowie die Creative Cloud gelöscht und wieder installiert. Zudem habe ich auch versucht ältere Versionen herunterzuladen (bei denen ich das Problem noch nicht hatte) aber mit denen hat es auch nicht funktioniert. Ich weiß nicht mehr was ich machen soll, alle meinen anderen Adobe Anwendungen (z.B Photoshop und Indesign) laufen ohne Probleme.

4. Share for Review doesn't push the comments into Illustrator

   In Illustrator 27.5 I don't get any comments. They are on the website. They don't get synched with Illustrator. Synching is turned on. I have rebooted and reset the preferences.

5. Align to key object isn't working

   Align to key object not working. When I click to align the non-key object moves to a random but specific place on the file, it is not aligning to the art board but to a random half-way straddling the edge of the art board. Please fix this asap, I can't really use Illustrator without being able to align objects on the page. We pay a lot for this program!

6. Tool palettes don’t stick to the second monitor.

   I use Illustrator in a multi-monitor setup. Tool palettes are on the second screen, while the Document window is on the main monitor.

   Since the Update to macOS Ventura if I wake up the Mac after a sleep (or unlock the screen after I locked it) all the tool palettes jump from their position on the second screen to the main screen.

   This is always reproducible for me on two different machines under macOS Ventura (13.0–13.2.1) and Illustrator 2013 (27.3.1).

7. Right click pop-up context menu box stuck in the bottom left corner of the screen

   This issue started when I upgraded to Mac OS Monterey. Unfortunately, I cannot downgrade. I am using a 2018 MacBook Pro 15.6 laptop. I use a 27" 4k external monitor, but the issue occurs with the monitor and the laptop screen. The right-click menu box issue does not happen with any of the other Adobe programs. I have deleted prefs, uninstalled and installed illustrator, zapped the PRAM, and installed an older version of illustrator with no change. I understand Monterey is a beta now but is there a fix or setting to fix this problem? I appreciate your help in advance.

8. Repeat object has no indication of selection when bounding box is off

   Repeats is broken right from the start and you are not even planning to improve it... OK, not improve it, but just to make stable, as it was supposed to be.

   Here in the GIF, I have Bounding Box turned on, and it seems it works OK.

   Then I disable bounding box (which is normal for me and a lot of other users). Again — AI allows to turn if OFF, and everything works without it just FINE — except for Repeats and area type text (but this is another tale).

   Now, when I select both objects, the repeat object looks like it’s not selected at all, but it is — I move them and both get moved.

   Even funnier it becomes when I try to select only the Repeat object — I see controls, I can change them... but I can’t move the object. More of it — I can’t deselect it by clicking the canvas or another object! Only with the Deselect All command.

   WTF?!

9. Illustrator Apple Silicon Bug (Eyedropper issue)

   It is a weird bug that appear on "some file" which trasfered between M chip & Intel chip.
   (It caused lots bug when a file transferred between these 2 chips)

   You can see when I pick a color, it gives me a wrong color (red) which was never used in this file!

   The only way to figured out is ... pick more times ! D:

10. Exported TIFF files not showing layers

    When exporting TIFF files as different art boards only one layer displays.

    I found the cause was that one of the layers was selected. This is the only item that was showing in the exported files.

    By simply deselecting the layer the whole file exports properly as expected.

    The two exported files are from the same document…

    The one with just the blue background is the one with the background selected making it the only thing showing.

    The other file was from the same document with nothing selected displaying both flags and background.

12. Eyedropper random wrong results

    Attempting to pick up paragraph and character values of text with eyedropper. Test is built in a new document from a blank template, components pasted from a working file.
    Expected result: that selected text will end up with same values (font, color, size, lead, letterspacing) as sample
    Actual result: as far as I can see, completely random results. Sometimes the letterspacing is changed to a value neither the source nor the destination is set to. Sometimes nothing happens. In this video, the font color changes to a color that is not used in the document.

    I have had issues like this with Illustrator for years, but in recent updates this behavior had disappeared, and I had hoped the bugs had been fixed. Alas

13. When checking spelling, Illustrator does not move to the selected area of the page making it harder to see the "error" in context.

    Have the viewable are move to the offending spelling like it does with InDesign.

14. シンボルをコピペするとコピーしたものと違うシンボルオブジェクトがペーストされてしまう

    Adobe Illustrator2022(26.5)

    問題が発生したときに実行していた手順：
    あるシンボルインスタンスをコピペすると、コピーしたものと違うシンボルインスタンス（シンボルパネルに登録してあるもの）が差し代わってペーストされてしまう。

    すべてのシンボルインスタンスがそうなるわけではない。
    Adobe Illustrator2020ではこのようなバグは発生しなかった。

    想定していた結果：
    コピーしたものと同じシンボルインスタンスがペーストされるべき

    実際の結果：
    コピーしたものと違うシンボルインスタンスがペーストされた

    hi, I have a bug in Illustrator.
    when I try to export an image by "save for web" method, the images becomes very sharp and text is unclear and little blurred and pixeled even when I edit it and scale. please fix it as soon as possible since I need to slice some parts of the artboard and I can't do it another way...

16. Can NOT see what is selected!

    Selecting an Object or text no longer gives any indication that it is selected! No handles, no highlighting. I updated to 27.5 and it seemed like it worked for a few clicks, but has reverted back. I can't see that it is a setting, and can't seem to get the expected behavior back. It is ridiculously difficult to work on a file when you have to just assume something is selected!!

    It happens if you accidentally toggle the View > Show Edges command with Cmd/Ctrl + H hotkey.

17. PDF error "This file is damaged" in the new Illustrator 2023 (27.0)

    In Adobe Illustrator 2023 (27.0), when attempting to open a PDF in illustrator, I get an error message and the file does not open. The error reads "This file is damaged" with no extra context or solution. The file refuses to open.

    The same file WOULD open on the previous Adobe Illustrator 2022 (I believe 26.5), and I would receive an error message (The document contains PDF objects that have been reinterpreted: An unknown shading type was encountered.) The file would then open, and then I could poke around the layers in order to get the vector shapes I needed (it seemed many clipping masks were hiding the shapes, but eventually they were all in there).

    Is there a reason this same PDF is no longer able to open in the new Illustrator?

19. Lenovo Ideapad opens Display settings instead of Align panel when Shift + F7 is pressed

    Help. I can't use the shortcuts properly. I press shift + f7 to open the align tool but it keeps open the display setting pop-up of the laptop.
    I'm using Lenovo ideapad 5.

20. quick keys for arrange disabled (but menu selection of arrange commands still operate)

    Mac Pro (late 2013) - ai 27.1.1 macos 12.6.3 -

    no conflicting system quick key found
    online forums suggested quitting safari, which did not work
    quitting everything else did not work either
    next step is system reboot, but this is a bug if it requires a system reboot.
