  1. Illustrator reverts all the work done and doesn’t allow to expand

    It’s just I'm doing work — and it reverts back to the start of my process and isn’t saving the work I work on as I go.
    Also it doesn’t let me expand shapes and sizes.

  2. There is a delay and lag when copying in Adobe Illustrator 2025 29.5.141

    When using Adobe Illustrator 2025, there is a delay and lag when copying. When performing a Ctrl+C copy of graphics or text, or when manually dragging, there is a delay and lag in the response, and the copy does not appear immediately. If a zoom operation is performed during a Ctrl+C copy, the delay and lag become even more pronounced.

  3. Share and Review Pin Function is not working

    Various Operating Systems Mac and PC. Various users.
    Illustrator Desktop V 29.8.2
    Trying to markup a Share for Review document
    Trying to add a pin and the pin tool does not show up and when I add the comment it just adds it as "unmapped".

  4. Error in startup script with InDesign path, line: 1 I/0 error since latest update 29.8.2

    This error pops up on every Illustrator startup now:

    Error in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Startup Scripts
    CC\Adobe InDesign\indesign-v20.0.jsx

    Tried reinstalling Creative Cloud and all apps using CC cleaner, no effect. Tried resetting preferences, no effect. Renaming the .jsx file helps but it's not recreated and presumably has some purpose (removing a similar one for Photoshop breaks Bridge Batch actions for instance).

  5. Move/Copy doesn’t remember last used settings

    When using Move/Rotate tool multiple times, UI 'remembers' last setting (helpful).

    When using Move/Copy tool, it not only doesn't remember previous setting, it seems to randomly create new settings (not helpful).

  6. Applescript—cannot save Illustrator file if embedding ICC profiles

    This is a bug, as verified by this post (https://community.adobe.com/t5/illustrator-discussions/there-is-a-problem-with-saving-as-illustrator-using-applescript/m-p/15287552) and this post (https://community.adobe.com/t5/illustrator-discussions/applescript-cannot-embed-icc-profiles-in-illustrator-save-options/m-p/15032019#M429674). I cannot save an Illustrator file as part of an AppleScript if ICC profiles are being embedded. This is a problem because I can no longer use my Applescripts for creating versions of logo files.

    The following code will fail with the error "Cannot get document 1". The error occurs when the save command’s with options parameter is a record containing a embed icc profile property.

    Step to Reproduce
    1. ポイントテキストをドキュメント上に作成し、任意のテキストを入力する。
    2.作成したテキストに任意のSVGフィルタを適用する。
    3.テキストのトラッキングを適当に入力するかoption+→で文字感覚を操作する。
    4.テキストハイライトは変化するが、フィルタープレビューは変化しない。
    5.また、あらかじめトラッキングを適用した文字列にSVGフィルタを適用するとトラッキングが解除された状態でSVGフィルタが適用される。

    期待する結果
    ver.28のようにSVGフィルタを適用してもトラッキングが機能する。

    実際の結果
    トラッキングを行ってもSVGフィルタのレンダリングが変化しない。

  8. Share for Review links are not working for my stakeholders

    I just updated to v29.8.2 yesterday and now all of my share for review documents cannot be viewed by anyone but me. The links are set to "anyone with this link can comment" but when they try to open the file it says "404 asset not found". I have tried regenerating the link and it did not solve the problem. This is happening with multiple people using mac and windows computers.

  10. Not constraining to 91 degrees & 136 degrees instead of 90 degrees & 135 degrees with shift

    Even with constrain angle at 0 degrees & smart guides at 45 & 90 degree angles & turning all snapping options off:
    holding down shift when rotating while drawing with line segment tool shows live angle snapping at 0, 45, then 91 & 136, then back to 180, 225, 270, 315, then 0 again.
    When I release at what it says to be 91 or 136 degrees by my mouse -> I check the rotate properties in the right panel & the angles are correct at 90 & 135 degrees where they snapped.
    So it's just displaying the wrong snapping…

  11. New fonts don't load upon installation

    Somehow, the new Adobe Illustrator updates prevent manually installed fonts from loading. These are fonts that aren't available in Adobe Fonts. So I have to install them manually. Because of this, I have to restart Illustrator so I can use the font. There's no problem when activating fonts on Adobe Fonts. Is there a workaround for this?

  12. OS updates make Illustrator to get reinstalled

    Everytime I get an update to Windows or Adobe, my Illustrator asks to be RE-INSTALLED. What the **** is wrong with Adobe? Why can't you fix the ******* recognition of software your PAYING customers already have, so that we don't have to go through this hide-and-seek ******** EVERY ******* TIME? You get paid well, maybe do your jobs BETTER.

  13. Greek text now keep accents with All Caps and is not consistent with UPPERCASE result

    This has to do with the new update where all files previously created using Greek language using CAPS now all have accents. Now every time we need to change the language to Greek for accents to disappear. I'm sure this will be an issue for greeks around the world.

  14. Saving as PDF loses all artwork outside of artboard - THIS HAS TO BE FIXED

    For 15 years I have never had an issue saving files as PDFs. I have always used the save as Smallest File Size PDF option, I do a lot of large format printing so this is necessary in order to rip files in a timely manner to the printer. Now when I save a pdf all my artwork that's outside the artboard disappears, hours upon hours of artwork just gone, no warning. Its bad enough there is no longer a way to purchase the software so having to pay monthly and the constant terrible updates are ruining me and my…

  15. L'Importation ne fonctionne pas correctement depuis la mise a jour a illustrator 2025

    Bonjour, Depuis le passage a illustrator 29.5 la fonctionne d'importation depuis le menu Fichier ne fonctionne pas correctement : un grand cadre apparait apres validation de l'importation mais l'objet importé n'apparait pas !!!

    Seule solution : faire un drag and drop depuis l'explorateur !! Une catastrophe !

  17. I can't delete or merge swatches.

    I have 4 separate issues, all stemming from the swatches panel:
    1. I can't select a range of swatches and delete them. I have to select them individually and then delete them. Huge waste of time.
    2. Sometimes when I delete a swatch, the thumbnail remains in the panel but changes to the red slash for "no color." I now have multiples of these in my swatches panel (see attachment).
    3. Merge swatches simply doesn't work, even if they are both global swatches that I've generated.

  18. Font switches to default and back while navigating string with arrows

    It's a bit hard to explain in words, so please watch the screencast I recorded. To put it simply: if a text block has a font other than the default (Myriad), and you want to navigate the text using the arrow keys, each time you click the button, the font in the panels changes to the default font and then back. The new letters have the correct font, although this does impact performance, especially for large texts.

  19. Transform Each records angles for gradients in a way Eyedropper cannot pick them

    Take a look at the test file attached and the GIF with the steps.
    1. All gradients have zero angle
    2. Select All and call Transform Each dialog
    3. Set an angle (I chose45°) and disable Transform Objects — this should rotate only the fill, not the paths. Apply.
    4. Check the angles with the Gradient panel, the values is displayed as correct.
    5. Create a new rectangle and set its appearance to the default one with D hotkey
    6. Pick the Eyedropper toll and make sure both Appearance options are enabled in its options (otherwise it shouldn’t work at…

  20. Blob Brush strokes often include garbage on turns

    What is wrong with Blob Brush. Even with simplest strokes I often get groups, and these have the main part and tiny pieces of garbage next to it in them.
    Sometimes these are thinnest slivers, sometimes knotted madness, sometimes chunks chomped off...
    If I run simple Pathfinder Add, some of this get 'healed'. Why don’t you do at least this? Why these awfully angular turns and garbled edges happen in the first place? Please study the file.
