1. cmd+shift+n doesn't create new folder in Finder-Save-Dialouge anymore after last update

   When you save a file (save as, save, save copy, ...) you can not create a new folder via cmd+shift+n anymore after the latest 24.0.1 "bug fix update" which I received today.

   Please fix this again!

   I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 24.1.1 for Win and 24.1 for Mac which is available worldwide now.

   Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

2. Grid Tools (Rectangular & Polar) Keyboard Controls

   When using the Rectangular and Polar grid tools, NONE of the keyboard controls work.

   UP and DOWN Arrow keys do NOT work
   F, V, C, X for skewing do NOT work
   NONE of the keyboard controls work at all

   NEED THIS BACK ASAP

   I've tried in Ai2020 & Ai 2021 -- does not work in either

3. Illustrator won't replace existing PNG file; creates copy and adds "-01" to filename

   When I update an Illustrator file and wish to export/replace the previous PNG file, Illustrator asks me if I would like to replace the existing file. I click "Replace". However, the result is a new file with "-01" added to the end of the file name. The old version still exists. Why bother asking me if I want to replace it if it insists on creating a copy?

4. symbols cannot be changed when in a mask

   I older version I could replace a symbol also when it was in a mask. I cannot do this anymore.

5. Library Panel Thumbnails Too Dark

   I have always used the darkest setting of the Brightness UI preference. All the items in my library were easily viewable and readable as each thumbnail had a white background. Now they are all dark and the text is unreadable and my logos are harder to tell apart. The panel can be dark but I need the background of the library asset itself to be white.
   Version: 25.02
   Windows Version 10.0.18363 Build 18363

6. Bounding Box changing sizes from entering it in to viewing it in PROPERTIES

   Hi, when I create a bounding box for a part of a vehicle wrap to be 52" x 98" or any size then view the size in properties it changes the size by minute amounts. Please see attached. Please note we are running on Mac OS Big Sur 11.2.1 and Illustrator 25.2.

7. Problem with Large Illustrator files when copying files to a new document

   Hi,
   We work with physically large files like 200+ inches wide for vehicle wraps, full wall wraps etc. When I break them down with a mask to the size out printer uses. For taking a graphic from 200" file making the mask at 26" and wanting to place it in a new 52" document so I can blow it up to 200% of it's original size. I get the following message and then it changes the size from 26" to 25.1006" which isn't the size I originally started with then I get a message "Artwork exceeds the canvas bounds and will be scaled to fit properly." This is not an option we can have as our files need to be the exact size we spec'd them to be so they fit our vehicle or wall that we are wrapping. We really do need to get this fixed ASAP. This didn't happen with the previous version I was running. Please note we are running on Mac OS Big Sur 11.2.1 and Illustrator 25.2.

8. Scale, move and rotate dialog boxes don't hold most recent values when you press return to open dialog box

   MACOS MOJAVE 10.14.6
   ILLUSTRATOR 24.3

   When i open the scale dialog box it has always held the most recent scale value, so if i wanted to scale something up 5% i would Press "S" on the keyboard, then type 105, hit return. then if i wanted to go another 5% i would hit return (to open the dialog box) and it would remember 105 in the active field. then i would hit return again to apply.

   When I hit return to open the dialog box now (in this example to increase by ANOTHER 105%) some random number comes up. it's super annoying. The same functionality is lost in the scale tool and the rotate tool.

   This functionality has been lost and fixed in previous updates. please fix. it's killing me.

9. Scaling Issue in large canvas Illustrator 24.2.1

   When designing in the large canvas mode (anything larger than 227.5416 inches) the scaling does not work properly in the transform panel. For instance, if I start a document off making the canvas 240" x 240" and I draw a rectangle that is 12" x 12" and open the transform panel and enter 200% in the width or height field, it does not scale it up to 200%. It scales it down. However, if I am in the normal canvas mode (227" x 227") the scaling works correctly. This is an issue in Illustrator 24.2.1 using macbook pro with macOS Catalina 10.15.5. But I am able to duplicate this issue on a PC as well running Windows 10 Pro.

10. Illustrator 25.0.0 breaks precision of metric units when working under custom created workspace

    When I create custom workspace and want to make new object, and when I type dimensions in the dialog box, Illustrator breaks dimensions, e.g. 250 mm becomes 250.5 or 250.06 or 249.999 or else. This also happens when I open previously created documents with exact dimensions, e.g its dimensions become broken.

    Note that this is happening only with custom workspaces created, and the problem persists even if I switch back to the default workspace. The only working solution is reinstalling Illustrator and working under any of the default workspaces, which is driving me nuts. Please fix it.

11. Duplicate Graphic Styles

    Multipage document. Many objects with a specific style, rectangle, 20% gray fill, no line. All assigned graphic style, eg, Box Style. I want to move these objects to a new artboard, so it's select, Copy, Paste In Place, Move specific distance (because I've laid out my art boards precisely). Problem is that I then get Box Style 1, or Box Style 2, and so on.

    If I option drag this does not happen. This makes NO SENSE.

    Styles are styles. Why would Illustrator be duplicating styles. Makes NO SENSE. Option drag is NOT an efficient way for my workflow. Maybe if I was a one-off illustrator, but I'm not, I'm a designer with multiple page document options, a variation on maps.

    Need Illustrator to stop duplicating styles.

12. Sizing bug of objects with corner radius

    Create a rectangle 25mm x 25mm.
    Change corner radius to 1mm.
    Rotate the rectangle 45 degrees.
    Try to change the with or height to 25mm in the transform palette.
    You will get weird 24,7714mm, 25,0076mm, 24,9997 sizes.
    Illustrator 24.3 MacOS verion.
    It's a shame that such an expensive graphic program can't handle the basic task of sizing objects.

13. AI freezes when shape if reflected

    when i select a shape, copy, paste and then reflect the pasted shape, illustrator freezes and I have to force it to close.

14. Illustrator unable to compatible with computer GPU（AMD Radeon Graphics）

    Hello, when I use the software, the zoom file will jam, and the GPU option is not compatible with AMD GPU. I hope this problem can be solved in the subsequent version. Here is my system info:

15. Color Nightmares in 2021 version!! Nothing matches or stays the same!

    Colors are NOT staying the same between HEX values and RGB settings in Illustrator 2021. WE are having a major shitstorm here on this as we are finalizing a Brand Manual and NOTHING is matching of staying the same when we reopen the file. HELP!!!!

    And some RGB colors are showing up as BLACK in the color sliders when they are NOT black at all!

17. Appling Gradient Across Stroke for Brushes doesn’t work

    I have applied a gradient to my brush. I want to change the stroke so that the gradient is across the stroke. I click on that option, but the appearance of my stroke does not change.

19. Mi panel de propiedades esta TODO en ingles-

    Es muy molesto, todo esta en español excepto esto y son palabras muy tecnicas las cuales no conozco. Dependo de estar parando mi trabajo y traducir cada maldita palabra. Esto no pasaba cuando utilizaba Adobe ilustrator 2020.
    Este 2021 esta lleno de fallas, pero este es el mas molesto. ARREGLENLO.
