Make Free Transform Tool (E) duplicate objects with Alt held
Windows 10 64bit... every version.
AI version... 22, 23, 24, 25...Actual behavior: having the Free Transform Tool (E) on the screen disables the function of the 'Alt' key (duplicate) when holding and dragging artwork.
Expected behavior: the Alt key function should duplicate artwork art as usual.
It's one of those silent but infuriating bugs that has been around through all the versions for years now.

Add Clipboard Clear Data Tab
Hi, it is great that when closing the illustrator file I am able to clear my data, however, other than some tech hacks, I've found this is the only simple way to do so.
I've unfortunately been working on a crashing document for the majority of the day and can't clear my clipboard because ethe program crashes when I close it down. This is a 4 word phrase with a blended path, nothing else. When running AI, it takes up 97% of my memory.
It would be awesome if there was a simpler and manual way to clear my clipboard…

Libraries content window disappear
When you choose a color from the swatches save in the cloud library with an item selected on the canvas, in order to alter its color, the following bugs happens.
If you do not "deselect" the libraries panel, and use the keystroke " ctrl + ] " or " ctrl + [ " in order to change the layout Z-index of a sub-layer, it makes the libraries items disappears altogether.
The only way to fix it is to close and restart Illustrator.

Illustrator 25.0 color not right
This is NOT an IDEA it's a bug.
Colours in the newest version of illustrator are wrong.
Attached is a screen grab of the file in 25.0 and work uploaded from the same file (previous version) on a web site. We've been through all this before with previous updates… why such shocking inconsistency with a professional product?!2 votes -
Mouse scroll doesn't work in Window, Object, other top menus
Not only these menus, but every menu, I guess, but Window is the main one where it really happens, when you have a lot of plugins installed.
AI then draws arrow at the top and the bottom of the menu panel, and the only option to scroll it is by pressing these arrows with mouse.
So
1. Please allow mouse wheel to scroll it.
2. Please allow us to choose between 'one panel, arrows' mode and 'unfolding panels' mode.24 votes -
AI crashes when zooming on IPad Pro 12- April 2021
AI was working fine on my iPad Pro, but it’s been crashing almost every time I pinch zoom the past two days. I have no imported fonts in the file I’m working on. The only difference from previous files I’ve worked in with no issue is: I’ve used the mirror function in several layers. Could those be responsible?
Currently, I’m unable to accomplish the most basic tasks because the app either crashes when I zoom, or the image freezes in place without updating any of the commands or strokes I put in.
How do I fix this? I need to…

Angezeigte Höhe eines Kreises und Position ist falsch.
Windows Illustrator Version 25.2.1 64bit
Zum radialen Anordnen von Zahlen benutze ich immer einen runden Aussenkreis.
Wie folgt gehe ich dabei vor:
- Arbeitkreis Zeichnen XY auf 0, Ø40mm
- zu positionierende Zahl anwählen > und positionieren : X 0 Y 13mm
- Kreis und Zahl anwählen drehen um 18°
- nächste Zahl anwählen > und positionieren : X 0 Y 13mm
- Kreis und Zahl anwählen drehen um 18°
- und so weiter
jedoch musste ich jetzt feststellen, dass sich die angezeigte Höhe des Kreises in der Werkzeugleiste der Höhe der sich im Kreis befindenden Zahlen anpasst und auch die Y Position dadurch ändert. Obwohl…

place lets me bring image in but then after resizing image it disappears
Windows 10 latest build, CC latest build, Illustrator latest build. Using File->Place with a .jpg brings the image in and allows me to place it in the workspace, but when I resize it and try to move it to the artboard the image disappears.

M1 laptop hang
Adobe illustrator keeps hanging on me while
Designing halfway. Sometimes it even hangs my own laptop. I know it hasn’t been optimised for m1 chip MacBook Pro (I’m using that currently) but sometimes it hangs so long that I’ve to force shut down my laptop and open up the file again. It’s just very unstable and buggy. Please help???3 votes -

Windows 10 HomeI've been getting the following error since version 24.2 but was still able to open and do work.
The operation cannot complete because of an unknown error. [CANT]Yesterday I chose to update to 2.2.1 thinking it might fix that error. Now I cannot open Illustrator at all. I am not an IT person, but I have already tried the following to fix it but to no avail:
-Restarting my machine multiple times.
-Uninstalling and reinstalling Illustrator with options
-Uninstalling and reinstalling Illustrator with remove options
-Going back to an earlier version

Colored corners in older illustrator vector drawings
Opening older illustrator files, some corners are colored. It disappears only when moving a handle in the anchor point of this corner.

Illustrator not opening Fusion 360 DXFs after 25.0.1
The primary reason I use Illustrator (on my Intel Mac running Big Sur) is to further process the DXFs generated by Fusion 360 and prepare them for laser cutting. Recently, illustrator started opening these files as blank, even though online viewers display them just fine. According to internet research, this should have been fixed in version 25.0.1. However, after updating and reinstalling illustrator the issue persists. This is incredibly frustrating as my laser has been unused for a number of weeks as I can’t prepare files. Please fix!

Can't Pinch Zoom when the Free Transform tool is selected
I'm using a MacBook Pro (2,9 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7) with MacOS 10.15.6 and can't Pinch Zoom when the free transform tool is selected. With other tools it works fine.

Grid Repeat becomes Non-Native Art after exiting and reopening the file .
Windows 10 OS and Latest version of Illustrator (April 19th, 2021).
I created a grid repeat of a object group. Then saved the file. Then closed the file. Upon reopening the file the grid repeat has become a non-native art object which I cannot edit.
The result was utter frustration.

Illustrator 25.2.1Illustrator crashed over 5 days ago. Ever since, whether I close Illustrator properly or not, I receive the "Adobe Illustrator quit unexpectedly" dialogue box every time I open the app.

Illustrator 2021 can't save with NVIDIA 1050
With this new version i can't save any document. My laptop gets freeze and I have an NVIDIA GEFORCE 1050 plus an Intel Core I7 9th Gen.

Page size error and wrong PPI
I have a big problem.
I want to the print an A4 template (pixel size must be 2480 pixels x 3508 pixels print resolution), but if I open the template I see always this size 595 pixels x 842 pixels (screen resolution).
I chance the PPI to 300 in Rasterize menu, but the page size remains the same.

Cannot select objects near text object
This is a bug and not an idea.
I cannot seem to select object that are behind a text object, such as the black rectangle in this example. The blue line indicates the edge of the type area.
