Line tool is immune to the Constrain Angle
When you set up Constraint Angle to 30 or whatever is different form 0 or 90, pick up Line tool and hold Shift, it still snaps to 0, 45, 90, 135... instead of 30, 75, 120, 165...

Reading SVG does not respect dominant-baseline="middle" attribute
For <text> elements
dominant-baseline="hanging" and dominant-baseline="baseline" are parsed correctly, with text aligned on top and bottom, respectively.
But dominant-baseline="middle" is not respected, and is instead rendered as dominant-baseline="baseline".
This produces misaligned text, which is displayed aligned normally by Edge, Firefox, Chrome.

Merge button in Pathfinder panel works incorrectly
Merge button in Pathfinder now works the same as Trim. It cuts out invisible parts of objects but leaves them separated. Merge should unite shapes with same color. This is one of most used operations when creating logos and it is now broken. Sad.
Merge effect however works correctly, so current workaround is to group objects together, apply Effect > Pathfinder > Merge, then use Object > Expand Appearance.
Steps to reproduce:
Create two red and one blue rectangle. All without stroke.
Position them so they slightly overlap each other.

Pencil tool fidelity issue when smoothing lines added anchor points NEW AI VERSION
The pencil tool is not responding to the fidelity even if is 100% smooth it will add anchor points making the drawing really wobbly. I noticed this only happens on the new Illustrator2021 version running on Mojave 11.1. Seems to be a common issue currently See link below:

Spot colours in gradients are not exported to PDF
If I have a gradient that includes a spot colour, and then export that file as a PDF, the spot colour is removed from the gradient. This happens no matter what PDF export setting I use.
See example images attached.

Bonjour,
Il y'a un bug dans les unités de mesure.
Lorsque nous créons un espace de travail de 1000 x 1000 mm celui-ci une fois exporté en Pdf fait 100 x 100 mm. Les unités par défauts sont indiquées en cm plutôt que mm et la conversion n'est as bonne.Merci par avance

Can't highlight document name or sizes to change...
When I create a new document, I cannot highlight the name or sizes with my mouse anymore. I have to click and delete manually before inputting new information.

Issue with align to key object tool moving objects off the workspace not by the selected distance

Cap Height setting not using Font Cap Height
Hello, the option for setting a size of a font by the font's specified cap height appears to be using a metric other than the cap height in at least one instance.

Latest Version just quits on its own
Luckily I was in front of my computer as it happened so I could save the current files that were open but without needing an update to Illustrator or the OS, the app suddenly just started a quit sequence on its own.

Pdf open in AI different than Adobe Acrobat Reader
Sometimes, when I open a pdf in adobe acrobat reader, everything is ok. Image is aligned correctly.
But, when i open same pdf in Adobe Illustrator, the image is not correctly placed in Artwork bounds.

Select Next Object Below
Running Windows 10 (64-bit) and the latest version of Adobe Illustrator. The bug I am experiencing is the shortcut to Select Next Object Below (Alt+Ctrl+[) is not working properly. Neither is the Select Next Object Above, nothing new is selected when I press the buttons, it remains on my already selected layer which is neither the top most or bottom most.

Illustrator v25.2.1 some excess cut after using shape builder tool or pathfinder
Im on macbook pro 2018
2,3 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5
8 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3
Intel Iris Plus Graphics 655 1536 MBGot some issue wheen i created shape using shape builder tools, or pathfinder, i found some excess cut, and the shape moved on a small pixels.
in the outline view mode, the excess cut is dissapearing,
and when i turned off GPU rendering in preference, the excess is dissapearing too,then i compared v25.2.1 and v25.0, i dont found this problem in 25.0

Rectangle tool draws slightly rotated rectangle
Update 24.2 - When drawing a rectangle (by selecting the rectangle tool, clicking on the artboard, and entering desired dimensions), the resulting rectangle is slightly rotated, skewed or tilted. It's not noticeable until it's viewed in outline mode.
To confirm this, I create a 1" x 1" square with the rectangle tool. Then drag the ruler origin to the top left anchor point. The transform palette confirms this anchor point is at x=0, y=0 (as expected). Then I select the top right anchor point and see that its coordinates are x=1, y=-.0022. The y-value should be 0.5 votesAs per the comment, the solution might be to check the Constrain Angle value in Preferences > General (Cmd/Ctrl + K) — it should be 0.
If you still have this issue when it’s set to 0, please comment.

Allow to isolate a compound path when only a part of it is selected
Since we can't isolate components of compound path and shapes it is strange that Ai won't isolate a whole compound path/shape when you select only a part of it.
Try this:
1. Create compounds path/shape — like a torus
2. Use Direct/Group Selection tool to select only the inner circle if your torus
3. The 'Isolate Selected Object' button won't appear on the Control panel and the assigned hotkey won't do anything.This should be fixed. Ai should allow to isolate a compound path/shape when you select a part of it.

Locked Layers No Longer Safe?
I have the lock icon turned on, pull up Blob Brush or Text or any other tool, locked layers below still active. HELP!!
Layers also active when I turn them off completely (no eye icon).
