1. Pattern image is not copied to clipboard

   When copying an asset to clipboard (using Ctrl/Cmd + C) SVG data in clipboard doesn't have custom image pattern. However, if the asset is exported the image pattern is included in the SVG file.

2. 3D Revolve Classic not updating applied symbols after symbol changes

   Making changes inside a symbol does not update where it is used as an instance. Video below shows editing of an extrude with a symbol applied to the outside of a cylinder. The preview toggle on/off inside the extrude tool also does not work in updating the applied symbol in real time.

3. 複数のアートボードをPNGで書き出しする際に、裁ち落としが反映されない

   複数のアートボードを作成し、「書き出し形式」より、「アートボードごとに作成」にチェックを入れ、pngファイルとして書き出ししました。
   ドキュメントで裁ち落としが設定されているにもかかわらず、裁ち落としが反映されませんでした。

4. Can't Save AS!!!!!

   When I try to SAVE or SAVE AS. Nothing happens. This is a random bug just pops up randomly.

   It won't let me save or even save as. When I click Save As the finder box doesnt open so I can't do anything.

   I'd have to force quit so that AI thinks it crashed then pray that I get my recovered document when I open it up again.

   FIX THIS PLEASE.

5. Applying Inflate Clips the Ends of a Line

   I made a line with the line tool, made the stroke 3 points wide, and chose a color for the stroke. I also went into the stroke options and chose the rounded cap. Then I used the width tool to tweak the shape of the line to resemble the object I was drawing.

   When I go to Effect-->3D and Materials-->Inflate, it crops off both the top and bottom end of the line.

   I'm using Windows 11 and Adobe Illustrator 2022 v. 26.5.

6. Offset Path not remembering last setting

   I use Illustrator (26.5, but this has persisted through several versions) both at home and work. My mac at home remembers the last amount i used for Offset Path. For example, if i choose a path and offset by -.25 in, and then choose another shape and select Offset Path, the setting is defaulted to the same amount: -.25 in.

   However, at work, if i choose a second shape and choose Offset Path, the default is set to -.025 in.

   Is anyone else having this issue?

7. Color mode changing issue (Grayscale mode)

   Hi,

   We are using Adobe Illustrator CS6 & CC22, for image color conversion.

   Input: Figures in RGB mode & color RGB
   Output: Figures in CMYK mode & color Grayscale

   Manual Process:
   When we change color mode manually by following below step, then no issues color mode was changed successfully:

   Step 1:Select Image.
   Step 2:Go to File Menu -> In Document Color Mode Select RGB Color.
   Step 3:Go to Edit Menu -> Edit Colors Select Convert to GrayScale.
   Step 4:Go to File Menu -> In Document Color Mode Select CMYK Color.

   Now our output images will be in CMYK mode & color Grayscale.

   Automation process:
   When we change color mode for batch of figures through Javascript using the below code, color mode was not changed:

   Now our output images are RGB mode & color Grayscale. The issue was RGB mode instead of CMYK so the image looks darker.

   All printer settings are greyed out under general, and no preview.
   Need to go into Adobe PDF printer settings, then back to the desired printer to activate the settings under General.

9. fonts not displaying online

   The specified typefaces rarely display online when sharing for review. They are being replaced by something else. This makes sharing a file online for review a waste of time. Even if I use an activated Adobe font, this font will unlikely be displayed in the browser. Even using a web friendly font doesn't help

    When a user creates an action in the form of recording work, the "Save" is recorded as "Save As".
    The user must replace the command with "Insert Menu Item" to work around this glitch.

    I have confirmed that this has been reproduced since version 23 (CC2019), but it seems to be a bug that has existed for a long time.
    This is not good.

11. problem with save file to PDF

    when trying to save file to PDF it gives an error and also sometimes we don't see the text box with the save or other things at all
    we use version 26.5 with windows 11Home version 21H2 build 22000.978 ( X64 , 64bit )

12. Illustrator does not insert images from Telegram by drag&drop

    When I try to drag and drop an image from Telegram into Illustrator, it inserts the text of the temporary file path instead of the image.

    Note that drag&drop from Telegram to Photoshop works correctly. The same method can be used to drag and drop images to the desktop or other applications.

    Mac OS 12.6 (but I have tested it on Windows too)
    Illustrator 26.5 (but also tested with previous versions)

15. Cannot create new file and every time I restart it asks me to repair creative cloud, its extremely annoying!!

    This doesn't happen all the time, but most of the time I click "File -> New" nothing happens? its extremely annoying!!!!!! I have windows 10 with all the newest updates, it also asks me to repair creative cloud almost every time I start my computer. Everything else works smoothy except Illurstator.

16. Illustrator 2021 and 2022 crash when trying to run an action from a script

    Attempting to run any action from applescript or javascript is always resulting in Illustrator 2021 or 2022 immediately crashing for me.

    I've tried on multiple computers, and running it on a fresh install of AI 2022 with no settings changed.

    Tested on MacOS Mojave, Big Sur, and Monterrey

    It doesn't matter which Action or Action Set is used, I've tried the included "Default Actions" and others.

    The identical scripts work fine from AI CC2020 back to at least AI CS6.

    For example, I can copy and paste this straight from Adobe's ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR CC SCRIPTING REFERENCE: APPLESCRIPT:

    tell application "Adobe Illustrator"
    do script "Opacity 60 (selection)" from "Default Actions" without dialogs
    end tell

    Make a new Illustrator document and run it, and AI instantly freezes and stays frozen indefinitely. It needs to be force quit.

    Running this or any other action from any action set by selecting it in the Actions palette and clicking the "play" button works as expected.

    Using the equivalent javascript-

    app.doScript ("Opacity 60 (selection)","Default Actions")

    has the same result - instant crash of AI 2021 or AI 2022.

    And running the identical scripts on the same computers on prior versions of AI leads to the action running as expected.

17. some shortcut combinations don't work.

    Hi. I found that some shortcut combinations don't work.
    I use WIN10, Ai 2022, Korean.

    "Ctrl+Shift+1", "Ctrl+Shift+5" don't work with the number keys on the right numberpad. (with upper numberpad, it does work well.)

    (I assign them to adjust text size stuffs)

    Is that a unique situation just on me?
    Is there anyone who check these shortcut combination whether works or not?

18. 数字入力時のバグ

    図形サイズや角度など、普段数字を入力するときはShiftキーなど同時に押す必要が無いが、逆にShiftキーを押しながら数字を打たないと、！や＄など約物を入力してしまう。キーボードの設定と逆になっていて大変使いづらい。

19. Paragraph copy converts to individual letters, or small small groups of letters

    I have noticed this issue with some increasing frequency: where paragraphs of copy suddenly appear as individual letters or small groupings. These letters all appear on their own layer. I am unable to grab all the text, or modify an entire word. Thankfully, I save rounds of files, or work by copy and pasting , so I'm generally able to grab copy from an older version, but this is maddening to say the least. I work as a packaging designer and it's crucial that copy remain editable. I have attached an image of the copy selected and highlighted little pink circles where the breaks are occurring "Dismantled Paragraph" , as well as a file from a previous iteration that was copied and pasted from "Whole Paragraph" -which is whole and unaffected, as well as a screenshot of the individual layers.     I'm not sure what's causing this. I'm on a Mac 2019 2.3 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9, running Monterrey 12.6. I use MS Teams for file storage.

20. Save As and Export dialogue box not opening / appearing

    running v26.5, Macbook Pro M1 14, OS12.0.1

    'Save As' and 'Export' dialogue box not opening so unable to save or export anything when running two screens.

    'Save As' and 'Export' dialogue box opens but is fully greyed out when only using laptop (see screenshot).

    Problems started a few days ago and cannot be sure if it was tied into an OS update.

    I do not run any plugins.

    I have:
    • Reset preferences
    • Uninstalled and reinstalled
    • Restarted machine several times
