    When I click Object < Expand - no dialog box shows up allowing me to actually expand,

  2. Illustrator is incompatible with Windows 11 sleep mode

    My Windows 11 laptop (Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360) heats up and excessively drains battery when Illustrator is open and the laptop has been put into sleep mode. My laptop heats up even more while been plugged in and in "sleep mode" with illustrator open. These issues has forced me to use the hibernation mode for example during commuting.

  3. Blending paths with brushes and width profiles works wrong.

    Create two lines.
    Apply art or pattern brushes to both of them.
    Apply width profiles to both of them.
    Blend them.
    Ai will generate steps that have uniform profiles instead of intermediate.

    Scatter, calligraphic, and bristle brushes won't let you edit the width profile. I did however test with two calligraphic brush paths with different pressure curves and that was ignored for the intermediary paths. Please test this with bristle and scatter brushes as well.

  4. Space + drag navigation bug after sleep on M1

    The space + drag navigation stops working in almost all Adobe programs after I wake up my M1 Macbook Pro from sleep on macOS 11.5.2. So I have to restart the system.

  6. 3D Extrude doesn't treat a group as a group

    I’ve got a logo I need to extrude, but Illustrator appears to be treating each object within the logo as having a separate instance of the 3D Extrude effect applied. You can see an example in the attached video – I add the effect and the preview is exactly what I’d expect, but when AI renders the effect, each object loses the perspective it has in the preview.

  7. 線幅プロファイルが付加されたパスに対するブレンドを指定すると表示に時間がかかる。

    Illustrator 26.3.1
    OS macOS10.15.7(Intel)/Windows10

    問題の説明:
    線幅プロファイルが指定されたパス同士をブレンドした場合、再描画に相当な負荷がかかります。アクティビティモニターで確認するとCPU負荷が90％を超え、その状態が数秒続きます。その間Illustrator上ではレインボーカーソルが回り続けます。
    なお、ver.25.4.1ではこの様な表示パフォーマンスの問題はありませんでした。

    再現手順:
    1.直線をペンツールで２つ作成し、それぞれに線幅プロファイルを指定する。
    2.そのパスに対してブレンドを指定しステップ数255とする。
    3.意図通りの表示となるが、描画完了までに数秒かかりレインボーカーソルで待たされる。

    実際の結果:
    微調整の為にアンカーポイントを移動したり線の設定などを変更するたびに数秒待たされる。

    期待された結果:
    プロファイルを付加したパス同士のブレンドに対するパスポイントの調整でも以前のバージョンのようにスムーズに編集できる。

    回避方法:
    パフォーマンスの問題のようですから、再描画が完了するまで待つか以前のバージョン（2021）を利用するしか無いようです。

    ※添付のベンチマーク用データではシンボルの編集終了から通常の編集画面に戻るまでに１分近くを要します。

  8. Cloud Documents Do Not Open (Urgent)

    There is a bug that I have been experiencing for some time with my cloud documents in Adobe Illustrator. Like any other day at work, I'll open up illustrator and go to open one of my cloud files that are accessible on the home screen under 'your files'. However, these files for some reason have become unresponsive to my clicking on them. Double-clicking on them to open results in absolutely nothing happening. I can move the file around to new folders and other functions under the three dots, but I cannot simply open the file by clicking on it. This…

  9. GPU visual bugs on Mac

    • Vector outlines never line up with the actual shapes when zoomed in
    • In outline mode, zooming in causing the outlines to flicker and disappear
    • Infrequent jagged vector bug

  10. Crashes break CC linked assets in Recovered file.

    When Illustrator 26.2.1 on Win10 Pro 21H2 crashes, CC-linked files are always broken in the recovered file. Please allow recovery files to remember the CC assets we so carefully curate and use daily - otherwise, we need to always embed external drawings (which sucks). Thanks!

  11. Scripts ran via actions do not select properly

    Dear developers,

    A few days ago I wrote a simple script which uses pathfinder to unite paths. This works perfectly when the script is ran via File > Scripts. But when added to an action and ran the script seems unable to select the proper layer and thus fails to run pathfinder.

  12. Links panel showing wrong date created and date modified

    MacOS Monterey (12.4) on
    MacBook Pro with M1 Max Chip
    Illustrator 26.3.1
    All placed links show a creation and modified date of Feb 6, 2040. This is every file I open. It doesn't matter if the link is stored locally or on a server. The dates of the file stored in the folder are correct, but the info in the links panel shows the wrong dates. All previous versions of Illustrator show the correct date. This makes Illustrator 2022 unusable for me!

  13. Stroke weight is not showing when we increase in small number, stroke weight appears only the point is more than 1000

    When I try to increase the stroke weight in small number it is not visible,
    If the stroke weight is more than 1000pt only then it is slightly visible.

    I am facing this issue from 25th June onwards... not sure why it is

  14. Package dialog resets folder name when a new destination is chosen

    If you enter a custom folder name in the Package dialog, then change the location to export to, the folder name resets to match the file and does not retain the custom folder name.

    Expected behaviour is for the custom folder name to persist when changing the export location.

  15. Fonts fail to outline when exporting DXF file

    Windows 11, Illustrator 26.3.1
    I'm Exporting DXF files to a laser cutter. The outline font option in the export dialogue appears to be ineffective. Fonts aren't outlined and the font element doesn't appear in the exported file. All other elements are present. Outlining prior to export until I can downgrade to a previous version.
    Recent PC death forced me to upgrade from Illustrator 2015 (I think) which had no issue with outlining fonts.

  16. Quitte inopinément

    Avec le système monterey sur un iMac neuf et récent ainsi que sur iPad M1 neuf, l’appli quitte à la moindre action dès lors qu il y a plusieurs calques. Impossible de travailler professionnellement comme avant. Il s’agit peut-être d’une incompatibilité système et nécessite une mise à jour d’urgence.

  17. Can't change 3D materials color since version 26.3.1

    Just reporting the bug discussed in https://community.adobe.com/t5/illustrator-discussions/i-can-t-change-3d-color-materials-in-illustrator-may-update-2022/m-p/12967705/page/2 .
    In short, color and other 3D material parameters are not longer configurable since version 26.3.1

  18. Toggling Layer Visibility Causes Hang

    Toggling layer visibility seems to be increasingly difficult for my latest release of the standard Illustrator build. I just tried a complete uninstall/reinstall, and the problem persists. Once I toggle layers on/off without any other active layer visible I get the Mac beach ball/spinning wheel. If I add a blank placeholder layer I have no issues toggling as shown below. This is the current release of Illustrator. I can share one of these files to see if it is setting related or cannot be reproduced, but I had this same issue on a much higher spec’d out PC than my…

  19. Motifs are eaten on artboard on exit of using pattern tool

    Hi please could someone tell me why this happens. When I exit the pattern tool by either clicking cancel or done. The motifs on the artboard are eaten away. Some times half of it or all of it, after exiting pattern tool. Sometimes text on the artboard gets filled with images. Like the text James was filled with the Noah image I have a video to demonstrate what happens but it won’t upload. .

  20. Malwerkzeuge (Pinsel/Buntstift) übernehmen nicht die vorherigen Einstellungen

    Ich möchte mit dem Bunststift zeichnen und habe dabei die Kontur, die Farbe und das Profil eingestellt. Beim nächsten Strich werden diese Eigenschaften nicht übernommen. Ich muss jedes mal die Eigenschaften neu auswählen... das kann ja jetzt nicht sein? Das hat vorher einwandfrei funktioniert.
    Wäre sehr dankbar für eine Tipp/Lösung!
