Deleting points/segments causes Illustrator to crash.
Every time I start deleting segments, when I get to the last point and try to delete - my illustrator always freezes and then crashes after minutes of waiting for it to respond again.

Character colors set for character/paragraph styles loaded from another document are lost when the file is saved and reopened.

再現手順
① ドキュメント上で段落スタイルを新規作成し，文字カラーを設定後，保存する。
② 別のドキュメントの段落スタイルパネル「段落スタイルの読み込み…」より，①.ai を読み込む。
③ 読み込んだ段落スタイルを適用したテキストオブジェクトを作成し，保存する。
④ ③のドキュメントを再度開く。望む結果： ①で設定した文字の色が，段落スタイルの「文字カラー」に設定されている。
実際の結果： 段落スタイルの「文字カラー」は「なし」になっている。
読み込んだスタイルを適用したテキストオブジェクトの見た目は黒くなり（カラースペースがDevice Grayになり），カラーパネルの表示は「？」になります。
上記手順では「段落スタイル」について書いていますが，「文字スタイル」で設定した場合も，同様の不具合が発生します。

Smart guides don’t highlight a repeat object when it’s grouped
- Please open the attached file.
- Make sure you have Smart Guides enabled (and Object Highlighting enabled as well in Preferences > Smart Guides) and Snap to Grid disabled.
- Hover your cursor over the yellow circle — you will see a blue edge highlighted.
- Hover again, but over the black cross — Illustrator won’t highlight it.
- Open the Layers panel and study the object tree — yo will see that the Radial Repeat is grouped.
- Select it, ungroup it, and try to hover over it again — now Illustrator will draw the edges.

The red part does not follow the operating system font, and the blue part correctly follows the operating system font. In Chinese Windows, the default font of the operating system is "Microsoft Yahei"

Não consigo salvar arquivo
Geralmente uso o mesmo layout, quando quero criar um arquivo novo, abro o antigo edito o texto e imagem e salvo com outro nome em outra pasta. Só que não tenho conseguido fazer isso. Eu coloco para salvar, escolho a pasta e ele simplesmente não salva. Só Consigo salvar por cima do arquivo antigo

AI 28.1 - Error Message in Acrobat when saving files with transparencies
When I save as a PDF using anything other than PDFx I get an error when the file opens in Acrobat. It seems the issue has to do with masked vectors and transparency.

Bounding Box outside path and wrong dimensions
After 22 years of using Illustrator, the bounding box does not works anymore as it was used to.
When I draw a square of 10mm x 10mm with a centered path of 0,5mm the bounding box was always visualized precisely over the path and the dimensions of the square are 10x10mm
Since yesterday (01.18.2024) the bounding box is visualized outside the path and the dimensions are 10,5 x 10,5mm

Go to Preferences > General and turn off Use Preview Bounds option in the bottom right corner.
With this enabled Illustrator includes strokes into the measured bounds.

Illustrator 28.1 crashes after placing or replacing images

Memory: 32 GBA few seconds after placing or replacing an image in Illustrator 28.1 the app quits unexpectedly. Before that, it looses preview.

Adobe Illustrator scrolling issue with XP-Pen tablet
Hi, I am using XP-pen Star 0-3 tablet. My tablet is correctly with other Adobe programs, only in Adobe illustrator it starts working erratically while scrolling.
I can function normally in Adobe illustrator, however whenever I touch any scrolling bar, entire artboard starts scrolling with movement of mouse.

The menu does not respond well right after Illustrator launches

Immediately after starting Illustrator, the menu does not respond to clicks and only works once every two times. Also, the phenomenon occurs that opening a new document does not show up the first time. Focusing on another application and refocusing on Illustrator fixes the problem.
While investigating the cause, it seems to be triggered by the presence of an invalid plugin or its warning screen. Without it, it worked fine.
Steps to reproduce
- Put the invalid plugin into Illustrator's plugin folder
- Start Illustrator
- Click the File menu

Eyedropper doesn't work on vector groups and bitmaps
Eyedropper has stopped working with 1) groops 2) nonvector images (for instance, photos). This is extremely inconvenient and didn't exist in previous versions.

Illustrator highlights anchors on mouse over when anchors are below other objects
Mouse hints sometimes don't accurately communicate what the user is about to do
As an example of the problem, create one rectangle with a fill, then create a second rectangle with a fill that encompasses one of the points of the first rectangle. Then, using the direct selection tool, hover over that point. The mouse hint indicates that the user is about to select that point. Click, and the second rectangle will be selected instead, because it is over top of the point.

Selection of Advanced Option When Creating New Artwork Seems Buggy
The drop down menu of the selections for Advanced Options when creating new artwork looks buggy. The selections text gets cut off, and the drop down menu bar seems condensed hence not able to see the text of the selection.

A general un-usability
I use a Mac desktop. Illustrator 28.1. There is a lot going wrong for me when using Illustrator lately. Overall it crashes itself like crazy as well as makes other apps on my computer not work when running it. It won't open sometimes, won't respond when in illustrator. Won't let me access the tool panel, so I have to force quit and re-open my not saved file. There are artifacts that will randomly show up in my art board. It's acting as if Illustrator is taking up way more memory than usual. I have been just having to force quit…

Intense Lag Illustrator 24 (Windows11)
I have intense lag regardless of file size. Whenever I begin to zoom or pan, display takes at least 5 seconds to update. I have uninstalled and reinstalled illustrator. Upon reinstall, the software works perfectly fine. When I close it, then reopen, the lag persists.
