1. ファイル→書き出しにてJPEGを書き出す際、圧縮方式が選択したものと異なる場合がある

   Windows10/21H1 Adobe IllustratorCC 26.0.3

   問題が発生したときに実行していた手順
   1.アートワークをアートボード上に作成する。
   2.ファイル→書き出し→書き出し形式を選択しJPGを選択する。
   3.ダイアログ上で圧縮方式を「ベースライン（最適化）」を指定しJPEGファイルを書き出す。
   4.書き出されたJPEGファイルは圧縮方式がプログレッシブになっている。

   想定していた結果
   指定したベースライン（最適化）でJPEGファイルが作成される。

   実際の結果
   圧縮方式がプログレッシブにて書き出される。

   この症状はWindows版のみで起こるようです。また、書き出し状態が異なるケースも見られるようなので他のパラメータによる影響を受けている可能性も残ります。
   わたしが検証したファイル３種類を添付します。それぞれがファイル名に付けた圧縮形式で書き出しを行っていますが、バイナリデータを見てもベースライン最適化とプログレッシブのマーカーが入れ替わっている状態です。

2. Same keyboard shortcut (Alt + C) for two different options in the Place dialog box

   In the Place dialog box two different options (Open Cloud Document and Replace) have the same shortcut — 'C' key. In both cases the 'C' letter in the option titles is underlined. See attached screenshot.

3. PDF Export/Save .joboptions not appearing; cannot use PDF/X-4:2010 Standard joboptions

   Adobe PDF Export presets (.joboptions) that work in ID, PS do not appear as options in Save As > PDF in AI.

   Edit > Adobe PDF Presets... show they are installed. Attempting to Install them manually returns an error: "The preset '[XX.joboptions]' is not recognized as a valid .joboptions file." They cannot be Edited nor Exported from this dialog. (Even though they can be Edited and reimported in other apps.)

   Affected presets use PDF/X-4:2010 Standard.

   Illustrator requires PDF Export presets specifying Standard PDF/X-4:2007 or lower/None.

   Creating new presets within Illustrator and selecting "Standard: PDF/X-4:2010" in the dialog actually creates .joboptions files specifying compliance with PDF/X-4:2007.

   This can be verified by opening the .joboptions files in a text editor. (I used BBEdit.)

   Simply opening a non-working preset (works in ID & PS, but not available in AI) as text and changing the line:

   /CheckCompliance [
   /PDFX4:2010

   ... to PDFX4:2007 renders the preset functional again.

   This has been tested on Illustrator versions CC 2017, 2019, and 2020 on multiple machines; Mac OS Sierra, High Sierra, Mojave.

   Steps to recreate:

   Create a PDF preset within ID (any version after CC 2015) that specifies Standard: PDF/X-4:2010.

   Verify this same preset is valid and functional in ID & PS.

   Open any file in AI (versions 2015-2020). File > Save As with option Format: Adobe PDF. In the Save as Adobe PDF options dialog, under "Adobe PDF Presets:" the custom .joboptions file is not present in the list.

   Under Edit > Adobe PDF Presets... in the list of installed presets, the custom .joboptions file is listed. Selecting it, both Export and Edit are grayed out.

   Selecting "Import" and selecting the same .joboptions file returns an error: "...not a valid .joboptions file."

   Create a New PDF preset within Illustrator. Specify "Standard: PDF/X-4:2010." (2010 is the only X-4 option.)

   Verify Edit and Export options are not grayed out and function.

   Verify preset works in ID & PS.

   Open both presets (Mac OS: /Users/[username]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PDF/Settings/) with a text editor.

   Find the lines beginning with: "/CheckCompliance" and the immediate line after:

   Files created in ID will read:

   /CheckCompliance [
   /PDFX4:2010

   Files created in AI will read:

   /CheckCompliance [
   /PDFX4:2007

   In AI (Edit > Adobe PDF Presets) and ID (File > Adobe PDF Presets > Define...) both report "Standards Compliance: PDF/X-4 2010"

   In text editor, for preset created in ID, manually change:

   /CheckCompliance [
   /PDFX4:2010

   to "/PDFX4:2007" — Save preset.

   Verify PDF preset that was previously unavailable in AI, File > Save As, Format: Adobe PDF is now present and functional.

   Under Edit > Adobe PDF Presets... preset now has Export and Edit buttons enabled. (Preset still reports "Standards Compliance: PDF/X-4 2010")

   Resolution: Either create all PDF/X-4 standards-compliant PDF export presets within Illustrator for the rest of the CC suite; or manually edit all .joboptions files created for PDF/X-4 standards-compliance from "2010" to "2007."

   This may present an issue where strict adherence to the 2010 version of the standard is critical and required. Although PDF's are exported with "2010" selected, they are actually only compliant with 2007, the only version AI understands.

4. Action using "save as" location not keep settings after restart of Illustrator

   I created action that use the "save as" to defined location, when closing and restarting Illustrator the action doesn't save location of "save as" action.

5. Adobe Illustrator Hidden Layers Show In InDesign

   When layered files are placed from Illustrator into InDesign, the files in InDesign show the Illustrator hidden layers. If you're not careful, the files can be presented incorrectly. The only fix I have seen is to resave the Illustrator file, then delete and import the image again in InDesign with the layer options selected. Review each layer before confirming the image placement.

6. SVG Export Missing XML Encoding Tag

   The latest updates to Illustrator (21.0.1) seems to have removed the all-important encoding tag required by browsers to render SVG appropriately when embedding etc. in an html page.

   It exports the svg without this tag at the beginning of the file.

8. Adobe Illustrator 27.8.1 creates a pdf where the colour space of the custom profile is incorrect

   Hello,
   I came back from holiday today and a colleague at work told me that she can't create PDF files from Adobe Illustrator with the output intent that it saves but reports a colour space error when opened in Adobe Acrobat. First I deleted all the presets but the error remained. I also tried creating a PDF file with other profiles (created by us) and the error was there for all of them. But if I used the default profiles from Adobe (e.g. Iso Coated v2), the PDF file can be opened correctly. Finally I downgraded Illustrator to version 27.7 and there it works as it should. But if I upgrade to version 27.8.1, the error is back.

   Strangely, it works for me and my colleague, where we also already have version 27.8.1, so far. Why it does for us but not for my colleague, I have no idea.

   I am posting the original file below, and then the PDF created at my colleague's place in version 27.8.1 and in version 27.7. Also the profile and Acrobat settings used and the PDF.

   I don't know where else to report this error, hopefully someone here will notice.

   Does anyone else have a similar problem as well?

9. Acrobat PDF File Format is having difficulties. Bad parameter.

   Having this issue after the 27.3.1 update. Found that it cause by the mask inside the transparency. The error prompt out when we try to save the file.

10. Mega huge trim printer marks in PDF copy, using large canvas document

    AI 25.4.1 / Win10

    ACTION TAKEN:
    Saving a copy of A2 sized AI project as PDF file (print-production style).

    RESULT:
    Extremely huge printer marks in PDF (see screenshots)!
    Tried several PDF versions in saving dialogue with same failed result.

    WORK-AROUND:
    1. Verify artboard size (and PDF document size as well) several times, just to be sure if my mind works OK this morning. And it's working fine (sight of relief :-)
    2. To make printer-ready PDF, original AI file was imported to InDesign (via import, Cmd+D).
    3. Then, upscaled imported graphics to 100% (which made me guess than original AI is somehow saved in 1:10 scale).

    AI 25.4.1 / Win10

11. SVG Tiny 1.2 :: x/y attributes in svg element

    It looks like Illustrator believes that x/y are valid attributes for the 'svg' element when exporting as Tiny 1.2. Based on reading the spec, I'm not entirely sure this is true.

12. illustrator cc 2018 wrong in export psd after rasterized

    colors change in file export with pantone, my steps are as follows:
    1- I have created a file in illustrator CC 2018 with 8 spot colors or pantone.
    2- rasterize the file with the function "keep spot colors " flagged
    3- export the .psd image with the function in the connection tab
    4- the resulting file has changed colours and wrong result

    saving variable library from the variables panels result in this error:
    'The filter cannot complete because of an unknown error.'

    Also a related issue is that scripts using 'exportVariables' function will fail

14. Export for Screens via ExtendScript is slow and appears to have stopped

    Description:
    When I run Export for Screens via ExtendScript, it slows down and looks frozen. The rainbow cursor will appear.

    It actually works, and will finish if I wait long enough. It seems to take about 10 times longer than running it manually from the GUI.

    This is especially noticeable when exporting JPEGs. If the image to be exported is large to some extent, it will hardly progress after the progress bar reaches about 99%. CPU usage will be around 100%.
    Example: When exporting 8 1700x1000px artboards at 300ppi, it takes 157.636 seconds (the weight of each JPEG is 2.9MB).

    If I manually export the same conditions from the GUI, it will finish immediately.
    Example: When exporting 8 1700x1000px artboards at 300ppi, it takes about 2 seconds (the weight of each JPEG is 1.7MB).

    PNG24 is slower than manual, but it doesn't affect as much as JPEG. The CPU usage was around 160%.
    Example: When exporting 8 1700x1000px artboards at 300ppi, it takes 39.376 seconds.

    It happens under the following conditions.
    • At least Illustrator 2020-2022 (24.3.0-26.0.2)
    • At least 2 environments of macOS Monterey 12.0.1 (Apple Silicon) / Big Sur 11.6 (Apple Silicon)
    • At least two models of MacBook Air (Apple Silicon, 16GB memory) / iMac (Apple Silicon, memory unknown)
    • Run via ExtendScript Document.exportForScreens
    • Option JPG 100,300ppi (artboard size is 1700x1000px)
    • Include transparency in artboard

    It doesn't happen under the following conditions, or the delay is not so noticeable.
    • When executed manually from the GUI
    • When the option is set to JPG 100, 72ppi
    • When the option is set to PNG24, 300ppi
    • When removing the transparency from the artboard

    The following items do not seem to have much effect.
    • Whether to start Illustrator with Rosetta. Rosetta makes it even slower

    Expected behavior:
    When I run Export for Screens via ExtendScript, it works as fast as I do via the GUI.

    When I run Export for Screens via ExtendScript, it slows down and looks frozen. The rainbow cursor will appear.

    It actually works, and will finish if I wait long enough. It seems to take about 10 times longer than running it manually from the GUI.

    This is especially noticeable when exporting JPEGs. If the image to be exported is large to some extent, it will hardly progress after the progress bar reaches about 99%. CPU usage will be around 100%.
    Example: When exporting 8 1700x1000px artboards at 300ppi, it takes 157.636 seconds (the weight of each JPEG is 2.9MB).

15. Export for Screens doesn't remember settings.

    Export for Screen Doesn't remember my settings.
    Every time I restart Illustrator, I have to set again my Export for Screen setting.

    I have project where I want to export few different sizes PNGs and a PDF, so it is getting a bit tedious to set those again every time I restart Illustrator. And of course it doesn't remember Export folder either.

    It really amaze me how Adobe can brake some basic functionality like this.

    The latest Beta 29.5 52 should now remember the settings in the Export for Screens dialog and keeps it between sessions. Please try to test it to see if it works as expected for you and comment back.

16. DXF files not coming in to scale

    New Illustrator update 25.1 — DXF scaling is off, not correct.
    Original size nor does it work using 100% scaling import.
    Previous version no problem... DXF files come in to scale "original size"

17. Save for Displays: SVG export is extremly slow on Windows

    I do have a file with around 100 artboards with simple icons that need to be exported to SVG.

    This process is extremly slow on Windows on a decent machine. Every SVG takes about 3sec to save. CPU usage shown AI is running only on Core #2. The same file exports in seconds on my 8 years old Mac.

19. SVG Stroke Widths are not scaled according to viewBox

    MacOS Mojave 10.14.6
    Illustrator CC 2019

    1. rename the attached .txt file to .svg and import the SVG file into Illustrator.

    expected: it should display two horizontal lines
    actual: it appears as a rectangle because the lines are touching

    here are two lines, 200px apart, with 100px stroke width in a 500x500 SVG with a viewbox of 1000x1000. since the viewbox is twice the size of the SVG document, the stroke width should be scaled down to 50px and the lines should not overlap.

20. Data merge with variables shared by multiple objects should not create errors

    Assigning multiple objects to the same variable would be particularly useful for language translations, in which the same value should appear in different objects of the same document.

    While the UI allows to link several objects to the same variable, Illustrator behaves badly in these cases:

    1. When a new dataset is created, Illustrator will assign different values to the same variable and where the value shows up is unpredictable.

    2. The exported variable library is invalid and cannot be imported again.

    3. If a CSV is imported into such a document, the import fails with an unknown error, while the CSV import of the same table works in documents with single assignments.

    The problem exists in version 22 as well as version 23 on MacOS 10.14
