  2. Some menus size is very tiny

    The menus show up so tiny they are difficult to read.
    Some seem normal.
    This occurs in both Illustrator and Photoshop.

  3. Show grid shortcut not working on macOS Monterey

    The show grid keyboard shortcut cmd + ' is not working on my illustrator. I have to go through the menu to toggle it on and off.
    It starts working when I restart my computer but then starts bugging out again.

  4. When using gaussian blur or outer glow on top of a gradient object, the gradient underneath becomes transparent.

    The object in the pictures shown is applied the outer glow effect. When I place the object on top of the shape applied with gradient colors, the gradient becomes transparent as the glow appears to have disappeared.

  5. SVGs are missing elements when opening with Illustrator (and PhotoShop too)

    For the last several weeks I've discovered that opening SVGs with Illustrator (and PhotoShop in fact) results in a significant portion of the artwork being missing. I've opened over 100 SVGs from multiple sources and every single one is missing elements when opened in Illustrator. When opened in Inkscape or Google Chrome the SVGs are fine. See attachments for an example SVG file from the web.

    My work is almost solely in SVG for compatibility with other devices (laser cutter, etc), and not being able to successfully open ANY SVG is incredibly disruptive. I can export from Inkscape as EPS…

  6. dxfデータ・dwgデータを読み込むと形が崩れる

    Auto CAD LT2023で作成したdxfデータ・dwgデータをillustrator2022（バージョン26.3.1）で開くと形が崩れてしまいます。

    添付画像のように，一部のスプライン端点（恐らく閉じている部分）がillustratorで読み込むとアートボード左下部分に集まってしまい，大きく形が崩れます。

  7. Adobe Illustrator: can't save the illustration, ID: -54.

    Same issue with some members here but I couldn't find solution. Can't save existing illustration file (in .pdf), have to "save as" new file. Really hope to get helps in detail showing how to fix this.

    1. Windows 10 Home - version 21H2, installed on this new computer on Apr. 8th 2022.
    2. Ai version 26.3.1 (latest version on Adobe Creative Cloud).
    3. The step: Saving an existing file (in .pdf). have to save as new file after even 01 modification in the file.
    4. Expected everything back to normal, can open file, make change(s) and just save it.
    5. File & video uploaded.

  8. White lines added around exported JPGs

    When I'm exporting images from Illustrator using 'Export Assets', often white lines or lighter lines are added on random edges of the images.

  9. keyboard shortcut(s) don't work

    I have a couple keyboard shortcuts that do not work. Among them are Ctrl-Shift-O to outline fonts. and Ctrl+] and Ctrl+[ to arrange. I only have one custom shortcut Ctrl+Shift+P to place objects.

  10. Illustrator doesnt let me "Save as" or open a new file on Macbook M1

    I have a Macbook air M1 with MacOs Monterey 12.2.1, Illustrator up to date 26.2.1 and for months I had been having an issue that happens anytime, when I want to Save as a file nothing happens or when I want to open a file directly from Illustrator nothing happens as well. And when it's a new file without a name it only let me saves it to Cloud when I close the doc. And whenever this inconvenient happen I have to close illustrator a re-open again the program and it's annoying because I'm waisting time and also I had…

  11. Illustrator 2022 GPU Preview freezes on file load/zoom/switch with RTX 2060 and RTX 3060

    Illustrator 2022 (26.2.1) freezes for up to 5 minutes when GPU Preview is enabled on file load, zoom, switch. The CPU usage rises to 99% during the freeze and a system level interruption is observed at the end of the freeze that lasts up to 10 seconds. A memory leak takes place after every freeze even after all files are closed. Only closing Illustrator entirely releases de the abnormally allocated memory. CPU Preview is not affected by this.

  12. Custom guides make Illustrator unusable when viewed as dots

    I've made guides out of a large number of lines (forming an iso grid). This works fine as long as I am viewing the guides as lines, but when changing the view to Dots in settings, Illustrator get so slow that I can't even move around in the document. I am using Windows 10 version 26.1. I also have v25.4.1 installed and it is the same thing there.

    Maybe it would be less performance demanding if we could set transparancy on guides instead of using dots?

  13. Can't open AI files until I delete settings

    Every time I try to open a file, I get the beach ball of death...spinning forever.
    I've discovered the only way to get illustrator (beta or release versions) to open a file again is to delete the settings in the Library and restart AI

  14. bounding box off centered or not aligned to object correctly

    The bounding box is off centered on my objects. I have all of the "Snap to.." options off, Preview bounds is off and I do not have any of the "align to pixel grid" options on. I created a new file and did a random rectangle and it is still off, but not as severe on the file that I am working on. I did try the "Reset bounding box" option and nothing changed. The screenshots are all objects without a stroke. I am on a Mac. I don't see this problem on the PC.

  15. New & Save As

    New & Save As is not working in Illustrator. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, made sure all the preferences are the same, but there still seems to be the same issue. Is there going to be an update to fix this or is there something I can do my end to fix it? Thank you.

  16. Recording Flip Horizontal or Flip Vertical as an Action and running it crashes Illustrator

    Apple M1 Mac Mini
    Mac OS 12.3.1
    Illustrator 26.2.1

    Create new action
    Assign F4 as shortcut key
    Record "Flip horizontal" under Transform panel menu
    Stop recording
    Select an object
    Press F4
    Illustrator crashes
    This also happens with Flip Vertical as an action. Does this in any document.

  17. Adobe Illustrator 26.2.1

    Hello,

    I'm trying to copy the name of my working file and paste it into the name of the folder I just created (with the help of the keyboard shortcut), but it doesn't paste the name. I have to paste the name with the help of right click of the mouse. Can you fix this situation?

  18. Trim View gets disabled when switching artboards with Pixel Preview on

    In a document with multiple artboards and bled artwork.
    In Pixel Preview Mode, Turn on Trim View. Select a Different Artboard. Trim View Turns Off.

    With no shortcut for Trim View this means you have to go back to the menu for every artboard you click. If you're working with 15+ artboards this process becomes tedious.

  19. Direct selection tool appears to move whole object until mouse release

    When part of an object is selected using the direct selection tool (selection tool and holding 'V' key down) the whole object appears to move to the new position until the mouse is released, at which point all the unselected points snap back to their original position. I'm assuming this is a bug and not intended?

  20. broken: reading File date properties

    Unable to read date properties from a File on Mac (does work on Windows)

    alert(app.activeDocument.path.modified)
    alert(app.activeDocument.path.created)

    // always returns null as if file is not saved

    I tested on:
    Mac mini M1, macOS Montery 12.3.1, Ai 26.2.1 and Ai beta 26.4.2
    Macbook Pro Intel, macOS Catalina 10.15.7 Ai 26.2.1
