  1. Pink screen and residual image artifacts

    The pink screen flash is back for me in 26.03 when opening files, but now I have the added bonus of image shrapnel being left everywhere (image attached).

    Mac mini M1. Happens with both MacOS 12.1 and 12.2 beta (release candidate).

  2. Illustrator Arabic text issue

    Mac Os Big sur Version 11.6

    Illustrator 26.0.2

    Steps done -​ Opened existing files in 2022 version and the text was showing different as it shows in 2021 version. this issue with all the Ai files.

    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 26.3.1 which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

  3. Illustrator stopped reading certain .tif files after update to version 26.0.2

    My illustrator stopped reading certain .tif files immediately after update to version 26.0.2. I reverted back to 26.0.01 and everything works as usual. I uploaded an example .tif file I had an issue with.

  4. Illustrator will automatically convert color codes of shapes and vectors when a document of different color profile is imported.

    I've seen this issue where people complain about color codes in Ai changing automatically, this leads to brand color codes slight off for most projects. I've discovered this issue myself and apparently when profile mismatch warning box are not checked (i.e Ask when opening, Ask when pasting) Ai will automatically convert the colors without asking. If you import multiple images then the color will be way off after 10 images. This happens when Ai is in sRGB and the photos are either untagged or AdobeRGB or other than sRGB.   5. Strange symbol ('envelope' sign) appears at the end of pasted text

    Why does the envelope sign appear when I copy text from somewhere else (like HEX color code copied or translation result text form Google Translate) and paste it into Illustrator?

    Happens only on Windows it seems.

  6. GPU not detected

    Restarted Illustrator and suddenly it isn't detecting my GPU.

    AI Version: 25.3.1 (Tested back to 25.0.1)
    OS: Win 10 pro 64, 20H2
    GPU: RTX 3080 FE: GRD 471.11 (Tested 471.41 and more)
    CPU: Ryzen 9 5900x (No internal graphics)

    Every other Adobe application is still detecting the GPU as intended.

    I was using AI without any problem, closed it, went for lunch, came back and opened ai again. Scrubby zoom wasn't working anymore -- ai didn't detect a compatible GPU.

    Already DDU'd back to different versions, wiped ai and reinstalled different versions, reset rpeferences, turned GPU acceleration (win) on/off, gave…

  7. Bug on the All Caps (case) open type feature

    If the typeface uses GPOS in the "case" feature to relocate a glyph, Illustrator seems to ignore it. It is working well no InDesign and and Photoshop.
    So the "case" feature is broken for glyphs that reposition with GPOS.

  8. NOKY error when resizing objects with Legacy Gaussian Blur

    OS version: macOS 11.3.1
    Illustrator version: 25.2.3
    Attempting to resize any object with a Legacy Gaussian Blur effect results in error message: "The Operation cannot be completed because of an unknown error. [NOKY]". Object can't be resized without removing or replacing effect.

  9. Eyedropper picks up the wrong values when sampling a filled clipping mask

    I am using Mac OS 10.15.7 and am able to consistently reproduce this bug in both AI CC 2021 but as far back as AI CS5 running in Mac OS 10.6.8

    When a fill is applied to a clipping mask, the eye dropper will pick up incorrect CMYK/RGB values. This is especially problematic when a pure black is replaced by a 4 color process build in the printing industry.

    I would expect to eye drop the exact values applied to the object I've clicked on.

  10. Stop "Get started with fun and interactive tutorials" permanently

    Every single time I open Illustrator I get accosted by the "Get started with fun and interactive tutorials" tooltip.

    There's two options on it:
    - "Remind Later", which temporarily hides the tooltip
    - "OK", which opens a tutorial panel and temporarily hides the tooltip

    There needs to be an option for "Never show this stupid thing again"

  11. File won't SAVE nor SAVE AS; only SAVE AS COPY

    Working on MacBook Pro, Catalina OS, Illustrator 25.2
    The "SAVE" file is not an option. Whether an existing (an existing file with or without changes), or a new file - I cannot "SAVE".

    The "SAVE AS" option looks to be available, but then it does not work.

    The only thing that is a workable option is "SAVE AS COPY". Which is nonsense. This just started happening and I can't fix it. I've tried uninstalling Illustrator and re-installing. No change.

    This is completely unacceptable and I've wasted 3 hours of precious deadline time trying to figure this out. HELP!!!

  12. Smart guides not snapping to artboard or other objects when multiple objects selected.

    If you select more than one object and try to snap to the artboard bounds it does not show any snapping. This also happens if you have a lot of objects selected and try to snap to a guide or another group of objects.

  13. [M1 Mac Mini] Area outside artboard flickers when mouse is moving

    This is a weird one, because everything works just fine when you first launch the software. However once your computer goes to sleep and log back in, the area outside the outboard within your file window flickers as you move your mouse around.

    A workaround is to quit Illustrator and start it back up.

    I'm running Adobe Illustrator 25.2 on my Mac Mini M1 with 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD.

  14. Have 'Select All Unused' in the Swatches panel look inside symbols

    Right now when you choose 'Select All Unused', it selects colors that are in use inside of symbols and they will delete if you are not careful.

    If the color is not directly placed on the artboard it seems Illustrator can't tell it really is in use.

    Deleting the swatches results in 'Deleted Global Color' swatches appearing in your Swatch panels.

  15. Please allow fill="currentcolor" to be set for SVGs

    It is still necessary to open (hundreds of) SVG icons individually with a text editor to set their fill colour to current. This is quite an impediment. I would also like to set classes or styles to be exported with the SVG.

  16. Rotation is too sensitive. I cannot use transform options.

    Rotation was too insensitive in the previous version.
    Rotation is too sensitive in this version. It is prioritizing it over everything else too much.

  17. 制作したデータを保存する際に、拡張子まで選択される。

    Macbook Pro（15-inch.2016）マジック ツールバー搭載モデル
    macOS Catalina 10.15.3

    Illustrator2020／Photoshop2020
    制作データを保存しようとすると、ファイル名だけでなく、毎回必ず拡張子まで選択されます。
    「別名で保存」「複製を保存」問わず、毎回必ず拡張子まで選択される為、ファイル名を変更しようとすると拡張子まで消えてしまいます。
    その都度ファイル名を選択し直してから保存していますが、煩わしくてしかたありません。
    この症状はIllustratorだけでなく、Photoshopでも同じ現象が起こります。
    他のアプリケーションでは、データを保存する際このような症状は出ません。
    解決方法を教えてください。

    1 - opened the file
    2 - made edits
    3 - saved
    4 - the save indicator showed that the file was saved
    5 - closed the file
    6 - opened the file - changes were not saved !!!!!!

  19. Placing/opening/importing DXF broken in Illustrator 2021

    1. Windows Version 10,Adobe Illustrator V25.0
    2. Placing DXF into AI dosuments
    3. Used to work fine in previous version
    4. No error, just a blank import. Since the new version of Illustrator (2021 / v25), the place or open option for DXF files no longer works for old format DXF files. Autodesk Fusion 360 exports/ saves DXF file in an very old version. (I assume this is to maintain compatibility with older CNC machines.) The version they export is AC1014. We used to be able to open /place these DXF files into Illustrator 2020, but with the release of Illustrator 2021, these DXF…
