  1. New text set to wrong language

    Everytime I create a new text using the text tool, the language for the text is set to "English: EUA", but both my Illustrator settings and my document settings are set to "Portuguese: Brazil".

    I don't believe that there is a THIRD place where I need to configure this, so I imagine that it's a bug. Also, my Illustrator it's updated, but I've been experiencing this for a while.

  2. Files take too long to close

    Any opened file takes way too long to close. It used to be fast a couple months ago. Then something changed and every file, even small files take at least 5 full seconds to close. Everything else is fast. Photoshop is fast. The only other program that is slow closing files is InD.
    Already tried deleting preferences, and rolling back illustrator to older version

    Windows 10 Pro 21H1
    CPU: Ryzen7 3800X
    RAM: 64gb DDR4 3200mhz
    SSD: WD Black NVME
    GPU: Nvidia RTX 2060 super 8gb

  3. 「すべてのアートボードを再配置」を間隔がアートボードが隙間なく隣接する形で適用したのちに、アートボードを新規作成すると強制終了する。

    オペレーティングシステム windows 10 Home 19042.1083
    Illustrator 25.4.1

    再現手順：
    1.アートボードを2つ以上作成
    2.アートボードウインドウの「ずべてのアートボードを再配置」にて間隔を裁ち落としが重なる形で、完全に隣接する値で適用する。（裁ち落としが四方3mmであれば、間隔は-6mm)
    3.アートボードウインドウの「新規アートボード」ボタンにてアートボードを作成する。
    4.Illustratorが強制終了する。

    アートボード間に少しでも隙間がある場合は再現せず。当方の環境では同様の手順で例外なく強制終了しました。

    ご報告いただきました問題について検証した結果、以下の条件で Illustrator がフリーズする現象を確認いたしました。

    複数アートボードを再配置する際に、アートボードエリアの間隔を「0mm 以下」に設定し、その後、新規アートボードを追加するとフリーズし応答しなくなる。

    裁ち落としの有無に関係なく、アートボードエリアが重なる設定だと発生します。
    Illustrator ver.25.4.1、ver.24.3 の macOS と Windows の両方で再現いたしました。

    今後、追跡調査を行います。
    開発に進捗がありましたら、こちらでご報告いたします。

  4. Bug eyedrop - contagocce

    the dropper sometimes does not detect the transparency of a layer.
    I have already checked in the dropper settings and the transparency is activated.
    after a short interval of time, on the same file, same levels, the dropper no longer detects the transparency but is limited to the appearance
    I report a bug to be fixed.

  5. NOKY error when resizing objects with Legacy Gaussian Blur

    OS version: macOS 11.3.1
    Illustrator version: 25.2.3
    Attempting to resize any object with a Legacy Gaussian Blur effect results in error message: "The Operation cannot be completed because of an unknown error. [NOKY]". Object can't be resized without removing or replacing effect.

  7. Text pasted from Photoshop resizes by interesting ratio

    When live text copied from Photoshop is pasted into Illustrator (or the other way 'round), it resizes.
    The amount of change is predictable (and infuriating):
    the PSD's resolution divided by 72 (when pasting into Illustrator) or
    72 divided by the PSD's resolution (when pasting into Photoshop)

    Process:
    Highlight text in Photoshop with the Type tool (example: resolution is 300ppi)
    Copy it
    Paste into an Illustrator document (neither raster effects resolution nor type unit of measurement matter)

    Result: text is very different (300/72 times larger for text from a 300ppi Photoshop doc)
    Type copied in AI then pasted into a 300ppi…

  8. Incorrect size for a group with an ellipse

    I have a number of 5mm ellipse selected - these should have a complete height of 65mm when selected. But illustrator has ignored the white space between, giving a height 10mm less than it should be!

  9. GPU表示時、リンク画像にぼかし・クリッピングマスク・回転を実行すると表示されなくなる

    ・Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7　Illustrator 26.0.3

    ・表示/GPUでプレビュー
    　アートボード上に画像ファイルをリンクで配置し、それに対し
    　効果/スタイライズ/ぼかし
    　適当なパスオブジェクトでクリッピングマスク
    　回転ツールで回転（画像とクリッピングパス一緒に実行）

    ・想定していた結果：ぼかしとクリッピングマスクのついた
    　画像ファイルが回転した状態で表示される

    ・実際の結果：画像ファイルが表示されなくなる
    　なお、表示/CPUプレビュー時は想定していた通りに表示される

    ・試したこと

    　OS・Illustratorが同バージョンのMac数台で同じ操作を実行
    　→同じ結果になります

    　効果/パスの変形/変形/角度　で回転を実行
    　→同じ結果になります

    　うめこみ画像に対して同じ操作を実行
    　→想定していた通りの結果になります

  10. Export to EMF

    I create new file in illustrator
    Add Text area and export as emf (or wmf)
    After then open in illustrator my emf file. Text is destroyed

  11. When relinking a file, the last accessed folder gets opened and not the one that had the link

    We need and option to open the folder containing a linked file when a link is missing or we choose "Relink file", instead of open last folder.

  12. Pantone swatches being deleted even after adding them to the correct folder

    Our graphic users need to use additional Pantones in Adobe illustrator. In order to do that, they copy some Pantone files to the AI's Pantones folder on the local machine. When they open AI, they can see and use the Pantone. The problem is, that after they close the AI application, it the Pantone files being deleted automatically from the AI's pantone folder. Therefore, they copy the Pantones to the AI's folder each time they need to use it, which is very discouraging.

  14. Wrong localization

    I have English version of Adobe Illustrator ver. 25.4.1
    I changed language to Russian and see that Russian localization is incorrect. These Russian words do not exist in the Russian language.
    Is that possible to update Russian localization in Adobe Illustrator?
    Just few examples below
    Full Justify Last Line Center -Полная выключка, последняя строка по центру
    Full Justify Last Line Full-Полная выключка абзаца и последней строки
    Full Justify Last Line Left-Полная выключка, последняя строка по левому краю
    Full Justify Last Line Righ-Полная выключка, последняя строка по правому краю

  15. new function says it doesn't work

    When using version 26.0.2, the new function says it doesn't work.
    It seems that there is a problem with the patch since this problem occurred after this patch. Please take care of these matters before the end of the year.
    It's not a free program, but I use it every month to get rid of this bug!!!!

  16. Width Stroke gets lost with Draw Inside mode

    When we draw inside an object the stroke from the object loose any width variations, that feature will help a lot.

  17. Artboard Naming Display Error

    OS: MacOS 11.5.2 (Big Sur – most recent update)

    When renaming artboards, the text is cut off in the textbox on my M1 Macbook Air.

    Steps I took: Shift+O to access the artboard tool, click artboard, attempt to rename.

    I want to point out - I'm still able to rename the artboard, but the text is just cut off in the box (see picture below).

  18. Linked PDFs resizing when pasted

    If you open a multi page PDF in Illustrator and then copy and paste it either into the same document or a different one, it changes from cropping to the bounding box to whatever was specified last in the File/Place options dialogue box and scales up or down to fit the same space.

    If I place a file (any file) and specify cropping to Bounding Box, and then open the same multi page PDF as before, the problem does not occur. It appears that by opening a multi page PDF it crops to bounding box but by copying and pasting…

  19. Text subtracted form a shape looks incorrectly with GPU Preview rendering, top is clipped diagonally

    Having issues with text and some compound paths acting like they are open paths when previewing with GPU. Viewing in CPU preview renders correctly.
    We have had this issue on both 2017 iMacs and new Windows 10 machines.

    Windows 10
    Nvidia RTX 2070 Super (457.07 drivers)

  20. Zeichenfläche beginnt nicht bei x0 y0

    1. MAC OS BIG SUR 15.5.1
    2. Illustrator CC 25.4.1

    Wenn ich mehrere Zeichenflächen in einem Dokument anlege, so beginnt NUR die erste Zeichenfläche bei x0 und y0.

    Auf den anderen Zeichenflächem befinden sich die Elemente außerhalb dieser Parameter.

    Man muss dann umständlich die Abstände ausrechnen, wenn man Objekte vom Nullpunkt ausgehend ausrichten möchte.
    Das Problem gibt es in den älteren Versionen nicht!

    Jede Zeichenfläche hat einen eigenen Nullpunkt unabhängig wo diese im Dokument platziert ist.

    Außerdem gab es in älteren Versionen beim Verändern der Werte einer Zeichenfläche immer eine Vorschau (welche sehr praktisch und hilfreich ist), wohin sich die ZF verschiebt…
