Sometimes command+ ~ key does not work, which is the function for moving pattern swatch only within an object. Some of my colleagues are experiencing it, also.

Illustrator 24.2 not saving changes!!!!!
Since the last update it already happened twice, and I am mad as ****!!!
I just had another file that I worked one day before, and when I opened it now, the file has a lot of missing changes! Pretty much hours of work are gone! And I will have to do all over again! Luckily I had saved a copy as PDF to show to the client, so some graphics I could recover, but all the text elements I will have to redo!

Network corrupting app repeatedly
I have read articles about how Adobe doesn't like to work with networks but my issue is my company does not allow for me to use anything off the network. We have extreme security settings so there is no option at all to work around it. Because of this, the app corrupts at least once a month and IT won't help. I'm the one stuck with reinstalling the app and all the settings constantly. Please help work on a solution for designers like me whose hands are tied with how we use the software. 1 bit TIFF files still importing inverted after all these years
It's been a while since I needed to import a 1 bit tiff file into Illustrator (maybe two years?) And I was so surprised to see this problem still occurs even in version 24.0.3
Does anyone know a fix bedside inverting it in Photoshop before importing it?
This is a no go, because when people open the file who aren't experiencing the the problem, it's wrong again.3 votes -
Text cursor on Mac with Retina Display incredibly thin
The text cursor is extremely thin on a Mac with Retina-Display. In an empty text box the cursor is nearly invisible, having the same width as the frame of the box. On a regular display, the cursor has a much better visibility. You should auto-detect the screen resolution and choose an appropriate width for the cursor or you should let the user choose a size in the preferences.

Illustrator 24.2.3 (64-bit)Select > Object > All Text Objects incorrectly selects hidden/locked grouped text.
This causes two issues:
1. hidden/locked groups of text shouldn't be selected at all by this command. (It won't actually select a hidden group of text if the TextFrame(s) inside the group are also explicitly hidden individually).
2. In a case where everything is unhidden/unlocked, this command selects the GROUP of TextFrames, not the TextFrames directly. This command will actually correctly select TextFrames in a group directly if there is another type of object sharing the group, like a pathItem, for some strange…6 votes -
Gradient tool hangs after using
Exactly as the title says. Using the gradient tool in the most recent versions of Illustrator results in the app not responding for about a minute.

Save as .ai can be interrupted by another save
If you are working on a new document, or opened an EPS or PDF, hit save as .ai and it does the background save, if you dont wait or dont realize it isnt finished, and try to save as PDF by way of example, the first save will not complete (ever) and this may result in a loss of data. Very reproducible

Blinking Cursor absent in Artboard panel

Fonts Won't Activate in Illustrator - Troubleshooting Tips Don't Work
I have no access to Adobe Fonts. I open a document, and the missing fonts dialog shows. I click to activate and they don't activate. It spins and then stops eventually.
When I go through ALL of the troubleshooting on the help forum, it doesn't help. I've done them... they don't work.
When I go online to activate the fonts, the message in my status bar says they are DE activated. It's frustrating!

Crash on export for screens with Repeat Grid
I can make this consistently crash when exporting Artboards 2, 4, or 5. If I turn off the Grids layer it exports correctly. I found that converting a Repeat Grid a making it a normal Group of objects fixes the issue but I have no idea how I did that in the first place.
Expanding the repeats seems to solve the crash.
For example Artboards 1 and 3 grids were created by a repeat but somehow it got converted back to a group of objects.

Rotate and Scale Tool sometimes affects all points on a path instead of just selected points
In previous versions of Illustrator (before 2021), if you had individual anchor points selected and you used the rotate tool, it would rotate all selected points and leave unselected points stationary. This was useful for quickly editing only part of a path.
Now, in 2021, sometimes the rotate or scale tool rotates all the points, regardless if they were unselected.
Note that in my recording, the skirt's anchor points work as expected. But the sandal's points transform the whole group of objects.

2-1.一度ダブルクリックでファイルを開きます。
2-2.保存せず、Illustratorを終了します。
2-3.再びダブルクリックでファイルを開きます。3.想定していた結果
Illustratorが起動して、ファイルが開ける。4.実際の結果
「Illustratorの前回のセッションは、まだプロセスを終了していません。ほとんどの場合、プロセスはバックグラウンドで実行されています。しばらく待ってからもう一度お試しください。」というダイアログが出て開けない。ファイルを開かず起動のみ試みても同様。今までこういう症状はなかったので、バグとして報告します。

Import Multi Page PDF Font Outlined
Single page import retain font formatting but automatically outlined when multi page PDF imported. Can this be fix? thanks.

NEGATIVE OFFSET PATH HAS FOR SOME UNKNOWN REASON STOPPED WORKING
I dont have an idea but i have the problem:
It will work for a shape, such as circle by making a smaller circle, however if i type a word -> type - create outlines -> go to path - offset path and select a negative value it just duplicates the same shape with same thickness and i cannot find a way around it2 votes -
Opacity Scroll
I used to be able to hover over the opacity % and just scroll with my mouse to actively change the opacity. Since the latest 2021 update, it will change the values shown in the bar, but will not apply them to the object.

Edges are not shown as they are.Without GPU the Edges and Path look normal. But its to slow to work with.
