Pen Pressure not working
For some reason pen pressure isnt working in illustrator CC 2019. Im on Windows 10, and everything works fine in all other Adobe softwares. Have tried updating all the drivere and reinstalling illustrator bit noting works. Also tried resetting preferences.

Illustrator V. 23.0 crashes repeatedly
Updated Illustrator to 23.0 on my Surface Studio running Windows 10 with 32 Gig of memory. It crashes frequently and seemingly at random. I can't point to any instance in particular - It's just random. The latest instance was I pressed CTRL + 0 to set the page at 100% and the program just went away. As with the other crashes I have encountered it isn't generating a crash report. It just goes away. I thought that GPU acceleration may be the issue and so turned it off. But, it didn't make a difference.
I uninstalled 23.0 and went back…

Illustrator 23.0.1 slow, lags, and crashes
Updated to 23.0.1 on my new iMac Pro running macOS Mojave 10.14.1. Slow to open 24.7mb pdf. Serious delays for every process. Selecting and deleting objects should not cause beach balling on an an iMac Pro. Even saving files is very slow and crashed on me twice. Simply closing Ai causes it to crash.

Can't search on network drives within Illustrator on macOS
Hi,
I realized that when I'm working with Illustrator and some item is missing I can't use the finder search function within the network drive so I can reallocate it. It doesn't find anything but if I search on the local drive it searchs just fine. Also if I search from the Finder (directly on macOS, not from Illustrator) on the network drive it finds the files just fine so the bug is within Illustrator. It's also happening with InDesign.
The problem is also happening on my other iMac as well.

Tool panels are enlarged or scaled up
Updated to Illustrator 2019 - workspace panels have increased dramatically in size - see screen grab of Illustrator and the same area in photoshop.
Solutions helpful as I cannot have as many panel open as they now take up so much space!

Info panel makes illustrator behave sluggish
Illustrator CC 2019: Moving objects around the artboard ist slowed down and sluggish when the info panel ist displayed. With the info panel hidden everything works fine again (no difference between CPU and GPU rendering).

Artboards name disappear or change back after renaming (often when pasted)
After renaming an artboard in the panel, it will return to it's default name eg. , Artboard [x], instead of maintaining the new name.

Export JPG/PNG (any format) in same folder of AI file (like before)
Hello, since update (CC 2018 22.0.0), when I do file>export> as jpeg, the file location is the last used and not the same as the AI file just open.
This can seems not important for you, but I do this 40x per day and now it's a waste of time. In CC 2017 this was ok.
I have to browse all the folders on local network .. to find my folder and it's boooooring.
There is no setting for this in preferences.

Cannot close main application window with keyboard shortcut
When there are no documents open, it's apparently not possible to close the application window from the keyboard (e.g. with the traditional shortcut Cmd+W). The Close option is disabled in the File menu.

File open error message
This bug recently started happening when I first open Illustrator, then open first file. This message pops up twice. After that, the file will open without a problem, and Illustrator will work without a problem. Subsequent files will open without a problem. If I close and restart Illustrator, the bug happens again in the same way.

Huge glitch
I'm working on a Windows 7 in Illustrator version 23.0.1
The very first time I opened the program the file had a big cutout in a triangular shape, and clicking anywhere on the document or even just moving the mouse around causes it to glitch further by adding random colours to the document and displacing the objects in the document.
After the first time this happened I uninstalled and reinstalled the program but that didn't work. I also just updated to the newest version of Illustrator today but that also didn't work.

Direct Selection tool not working correctly after image trace
After using the image trace tool and selecting either high or low fidelity, sometimes the direct selection tool stops working correctly. Although you can still use it, it doesn't highlight the points when you actually click on an object. Once you create a new project it works but it stays broken in the old project forever.

I open the file, create an place Linked File, save the project.
Open it again, and there is Clip Group instead of an Linked File

Can't Print Illustration
Illustrator refuses to print even small 8.5 x 11 files to our desktop printer. This is an essential part of this program and severely impacts my ability to design and create production files when I cannot print out a simple proof without exporting it to a PDF before Printing.

- While troubleshooting, we have seen the issue was occurring only with HP printers. The print jobs are working fine with other printers on the same machine.
- Changing the default printer to something else solves the issue.

Workaround:

Adobe Stock keeps crashing.

Latest version of ILLUSTRATOR will not open How do I download previous version
I can't get latest version of Illustrator 2019 to open up and function. I keep getting this: "There is not enough memory to ... appearance of an object".
I had nothing but problems with the latest upgrade when I installed it back in Jan. I got same dialogue (appearance of object) So I reinstalled the previous or older version and it worked fine. A month ago I installed new version with more bells and whistles and now nothing but crashes. Unfortunately I uninstalled older version so it's not on computer. How do I reinstall it?
