  1. Type on Circle Path Centers at 45º

    When I type on a circular path, something I've done a million times, it now centers at 45º instead of 90... despite anchor points at the cardinal NESW.

  2. Letter outlines distorting bug

    In type, I noticed that some curve points looked like they had 'kinked'.
    But checking the Glyphs font master and the generated font, all was fine.
    Strange thing is that in Illustrator the actual vector line is correct (no kink, in highlighted blue on the attached image) but the black-filled area DOES have a kink (see the version where I added a magenta outline - the circle indicates a kink).

  3. Selection tool not working with Text

    Intermittently, the selection tool isn't working with my text. For area type, the bounding box will disappear (and "show bounding box" is enabled). When it re-appears, often there is a lag between when I move the text and when the bounding box follows it. If there is no lag, it is not uncommon for the bounding box not to move at all.

    OR my selection tool will (on area type) act only like a direct selection tool. And the transformation controls on each side of a rectangle of the type box will disappear. All I can do is use the…

  4. Glyph rendering bug with bitmap OT-SVG fonts

    Glyphs that consist of a single-colored bitmap image are not rendered in text frames nor in the Glyphs panel.

    When we start using them within a text frame, they also break the rendering of all subsequent characters (they disappear).

    To reproduce, enter the character "m" in the attached AI file.

  5. General Performance Issues and Font Issues

    The Issue that I'm having see screenshots happens randomly in adobe applications like Illustrator.

    I followed the instruction the adobe support gave me with the link, but there where no issue so I send you the last step, more details. Re-install fonts or Creative Cloud etc. don't solve the problem. I have this problems here and there since more than a year now.

  6. Paragraph Styles reverting back

    Adobe for MacOS version 23.01

    I updated a paragraph style I've been using since the last version. So when I save the document it reverts some of the paragraphs to the previous paragraph style.

  8. Font Size resets to 12pt when new font family is chosen

    Changing font face also changes font size.
    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Select text with text selector tool
    2. Select a new font face from the font face drop down menu

    Expected results: font face changes while all other font properties remain the same.
    Actual result: font face and font size properties change.

  9. Adobe Fonts dont sync properly with Typekits fonts purchased.

    My synced fonts don't show up in Illustrator. These are fonts that have been syncs for months. Restarting Illustrator does nothing. Unsyncing and resyncing fonts on Typekit does nothing

  10. Missing Buttons/Interface in Find Font

    I've recently noticed that the buttons in Find Font do not appear unless I scroll over them. This is a very recent occurrence as far as I can tell.

  11. Type properties panel bug

    Every time when changing a text's properties and deselecting it the text is reverted to size 12. Also when a different colour is applied to part of the text and deselecting it, the colour is applied to the whole text. The situation is the same with different font styles - setting part of the text in bold will result that everything is changed to bold when deselected. It happens every time.

  12. Using scale tool on justified text results in changing line breaks

    1. Illustrator CC 22.0.0 on Windows 10 x64 Pro

    2. Have a column of Area Text, justified, with carefully defined line breaks so that words are hyphenated at particular places, or not hypenated at all.

    3. When using either the scale tool (shift+click to scale proportionally) or the transform tool, all of the content should scale proportionally and the line breaks should not be changed.

    4. The resulting rescaled text column has very slight changes to the line breaks. While shift+dragging, the text looks correct (just scaled proportionally, without any reflow or stretching), but when releasing the mouse, there is suddenly some text reflow…

  15. Can't move paragraph indent markers back to 0 in tab panel

    Illustrator CC 2018
    Windows 10

    When I try to move the top or bottom indent markers back to zero, it snaps back to its original place.
    If I type 0 in the X: box, it doesn't work.
    If I set it to 1, cliclk in the X: box and press the down arrow on my keyboard, it doens't work.

    The only way to set it back is via the Paragraph panel.

  16. Cannot use alt with eyedropper to apply sampled style to other sections of text

    Cannot use alt with eyedropper to apply sampled appearance to other objects
    Mac OS High Serra 10.13.3
    Illustrator CC 2018 (22.1)

    I used to (in CS6) be able to copy a text style by using the eyedropper once and then holding alt to apply it to other sections (the eyedropper icon would be mirrored left-right when holding alt).

    Now if I hold alt, I'm getting the hand (pan) tool.

    How can I get the "apply style" tool instead please?

    NB: it still works with objects (background of text area in the example video), but not with text anymore.

  18. Unwanted characters appearing when outlining text.

    When using Type > Create Outlines, there is a chance of unwanted characters appearing.

    Attached is a file where the error is reproducible. Notice how an additional "d" and "g" appear with you outline the text.

    This file was created using Ai CC v22.0.1 and according to forum posts ive found, this issue has existed since CS4 or possibly earlier.

    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 23.0.6 which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

  19. Visible Text unable to be edited.

    While trying to edit a line of text in illustrator, i couldn't select it. While i could see the text in preview mode, in outline mode it does not show. After saving and reopening the file, the text is editable again and visible in outline mode. This has happened to me for years, it just happened a lot today and got on my nerves. pics below of the issue. same section of the file, just different view modes.
