(Bug) Alignment buttons go into hiding when selecting more than one object
When selecting a single object, the Alignment buttons appear on the top UI bar. But select MORE THAN ONE object, the Alignment buttons disappear.
Now I have to click on the "Align" flyout menu and click an option from there in order to align 2 objects, because my UI shows more blank space and fewer features than before.

Pattern Scale Not Working
My pattern scale has stopped working recently for user created patterns (it works ok on the default patterns). Previously I could create a pattern but dragging into the swatch menu, and then when I dragged the corners, the scale of the pattern would adjust along with the size of my shape. Now it does not.
I have checked that "Transform Both (object and pattern)" is selected from the Transform Panel dropdown, along with Settings > General > Transform Pattern Tiles is also checked on.

"Move art with artboard" always moves pattern tiles, ignoring the "transform pattern tiles" pref.
First observed on 2026 (30.3). Also found on 2020, I'm gonna assume this has existed as long as "move art with artboard" has been around. I was doing some work with a lot of large patterns and wanted to move the whole thing relative to their origin without redefining a bunch of graphic styles. Very unexpected behavior.
I would not be surprised if "scale art with artboard" also ignores the "transform pattern tiles" setting but the patterns I was using make that hard to check, so I didn't. Please check this too and fix it if it's also misbehaving. :)

Severe selection lag on direct click (Marquee selection works fine) - Illustrator 30.3 - macOS Tahoe (M4)

I am experiencing a critical issue that is completely breaking my workflow in Adobe Illustrator, and I suspect it might be a specific bug in the latest version or a compatibility issue with the new hardware/OS.

Whenever I try to select any element by clicking directly on it, the program takes a long time to react, select the object, and display the bounding box (the resizing and rotation handles). Significant issues when outlining a file for production / Color of text becomes mixed [?] while Appearance shows None for fill color
When outing a full packaging layout for print production, text blocks turn solid (not text), editable compound shapes (shapes with text in them) turn solid, sometimes the whole layout disappears - I cannot find a common issue for these things and seems somewhat random. This never happened before the V29 update and is causing significant rework and extra steps in the file production process.

Change to Global Rulers grayed out.
For some reason 'Change to Global Rulers' is grayed out. Using that for years, for preparing art for Cinema4d, but in this version, suddenly I am not able to switch.

Naming a layer "Unnamed" bug
To duplicate, simply create a layer and call it "Unnamed" (case-sensitive). On my PC, whenever I do this, the Measure tool breaks and the app starts throwing UIDu and NOKY errors. Unless the devs can patch this, remember to add "Unnamed" to your "never use this keyword" list.

文字パネル側の「フォント名を英語で表記」設定が正常動作していない

Illustrator 30.1文字パネルにある「フォント名を英語で表記」にチェックを入れても、すべてが英語名で表記されず、日本語のまま残る部分があります。
この状態で環境設定を確認すると、同名の設定では設定がONになっています。環境設定で設定をONにした場合は正常に英語表記されます。
（ただし文字パネルでONにした状態で、環境設定を開き、そのままOFF・ONにした場合だと変わらず）

Illustrator 30.1Even when checking “Display font names in English” in the Character panel, not all names are displayed in English; some remain in Japanese.
Checking the preferences in this state shows the setting is ON for the corresponding option.If you turn the setting ON in the Preferences, it displays correctly in English.

Can't click on generate vectors, overlay ui get's on the way and it's unclosable.
I was trying to generate vectors on illustrator, but a UI element with a suggestion appear, and looks like it's unclosable. And get's on the way to interact with the control to generate vectors.

Pasting an object with perceptual gradient applied expands it and converts into an image
- Create a rectangle and fill it with a gradient (liner/radial)
- In the gradient panel, change the method from Classic to Perceptual
- Copy the object
- Paste the object
Check the Appearance panel — it’d show the object is now an image, with the original perceptual fill tucked under the pixels!
And if the object had a stroke, it becomes a group with a stroke in it separated.5 votesThis issue is reportedly fixed in the latest Beta 30.3.126 build.
Kindly update (or install) to verify the fix making it behave as expected, to allow the team to safely push it into the next general build.

Large images scaled down too much (with resolution larger than 7200 ppi) become immovable
I'm not able to move images in my design. If I click image trace and make the image into a vector then I can move it, but as soon as I rasterize it back into an image then I can no longer move it. I also am not able to click to select the image, I have to drag a box around it to select the image.
Things I've tried:
- Checked for update
- Restarted my computer
- Restarted Illy
- Restarted Illy while pressing shift-options-command
- moved the file to my desktop (off of external drive)

Pattern Tool Severe Lagging
I am a surface pattern designer and anytime I edit patterns I have a 1-2 minute delay for every vector I move. This cripples workflow and is an awful user experience. I am not using effects or modifications that should cause this type of delays every time vector assets are relocated (even a mm.)
I have to create 50+ patterns daily and this issues critically hinders my daily workflow. I use illustrator 12 hours a day for my work.
Please provide solutions to rectify this issue for users experiencing this issue.

Moving a part of a blend with any Selection tool makes it move faster than expected
In 29.7.1 (and Beta 29.9.0.6) when I move one object in a blend with any selection tool, inside or outside of isolation, it moves twice as much.
This is similar to this problem with symbols — http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447/suggestions/5029351212 votesMoving an object within blend now works as expected.

Scaling down a placed image makes it unmovable
After placing a PNG and scaling it down to fit my artwork, I was no longer able to move the PNG into place. I could only select it in the Layers panel or by clicking and dragging over it. There does seem to be a threshold before this happens — if I only scale it down a small amount, it seems to behave as normal, but if I go beyond 50%, it becomes unstable. Artboard Width & Height inputs vanished from the top Control panel / bar
Input fields to resize artboards were removed from upper tool bar. PUT IT BACK.
Now to access the width and height you must go to the Properties panel. Why are we making extra steps? Fix this3 votes -
Cutting off bottom of page when printing
Fix the problem of cutting off the bottom of the page when I print with Illustrator. I can save the document as a PDF and print it fine with preview, but Illustrator cuts off part of the bottom of the print. It has the incorrect print border. So stupid.

No puedo abrir un archivo pesado guardado en Cloud
El archivo no se descarga para poder abrirlo de manera local. Es un archivo pesado, con imágenes. Un banner para imprimir de gran porte.
Al abrirse desde los archivos de cloud en el illustrator de escritorio, el archivo queda en formato esquema (contornear) y no permite previsualizar de ninguna manera, ni modificando el GPU ni en forma CPU.
Cree una copia sacando lienzos y archivos y tampoco logro guardar el documento de manera local. Marca error pero no explica de dónde viene ni tira ningún número.
Por favor, necesito ayuda.

unchecking "use document bleed settings" box in "Save Adobe PDF" does not remove the bleed from the saved file.

1: create new document with some amount of bleed in "document setup"
2: save as .pdf will bring up "Save Adobe PDF" Dialog
3: uncheck "use document bleed settings" box and save the .pdf
