    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 25.4.1 which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

  2. New File launch interface slow or unresponsive in latest 2023 update (21.7)

    New file launch unresponsive to clicks made with trackpad and Wacom Intuos Pro Tablet (with the stylus). Seems normal on mouse.

  3. fonts not displaying online

    The specified typefaces rarely display online when sharing for review. They are being replaced by something else. This makes sharing a file online for review a waste of time. Even if I use an activated Adobe font, this font will unlikely be displayed in the browser. Even using a web friendly font doesn't help

  5. Fonts don’t sync

    I just upgraded my computer to the Macbook Pro 2021 M1. I downloaded the latest versions of Adobe and noticed none of my fonts will sync. I've tried posted troubleshooting methods and none have worked (closing and restarting apps, reinstalled apps, multiple computer resets, unsyncing and resyncing manually, etc). Any time I open an Illustrator project with previously used fonts that aren't native to the app, it prompts me to sync but the load wheel just keeps spinning and will never finish.

    I'm at a loss. Any ideas?

  6. Can't change 3D materials color since version 26.3.1

    Just reporting the bug discussed in https://community.adobe.com/t5/illustrator-discussions/i-can-t-change-3d-color-materials-in-illustrator-may-update-2022/m-p/12967705/page/2 .
    In short, color and other 3D material parameters are not longer configurable since version 26.3.1

  7. "Align dash to corners and path ends" is broken in 2022.

    See title.

    Here's two screengrabs of 2021 and 2022 with the following done in them:

    1. Draw an 800x800 pt circle in the middle of the canvas.
    2. Set the stroke to 800px wide, black, dashed line on, 12pt in the first dash box, no other gaps/dashes, turn on "align dash to corners and path ends".

    2021 renders evenly, as expected, 2022 has the dashes at weird off-kilter angles.

    2022 will render evenly if I switch to "preserve exact dash and gap lengths".

    Observed on 26.0.2, both with my usual plugins and with them removed, maybe i'll try updating later today to…

  8. Effects from the effects pannel not working or showing settings

    All the effects from this list are simply not working. It appears in the appearance pannel but not even the settings pannel pops up.

  10. Text highlighted with Layer color while I'm typing

    Do you have any idea why some of my Text objects stay highlighted with the Layer color while I'm typing (the yellow one in the video), and some don't (the orange one)?

    Cmd-H doesn't change that (the yellow one stays highlighted while I'm typing).

    Is this something in the Preferences, or Object settings, or Layer settings?

    I'm on Mac OS 11.4, using Illustrator 27.0.1

  11. Objects Fill Color (Global/Spot) removed when changing any of the stroke property

    I have multiple objects selected with the same stroke colour and different fill colours. I change the stroke colour and the fill colour of all selected objects change to none. Using Illustrator 25.3 on Mac 10.4.6.

  12. Illustrator 2021 and 2022 crash when trying to run an action from a script

    Attempting to run any action from applescript or javascript is always resulting in Illustrator 2021 or 2022 immediately crashing for me.

    I've tried on multiple computers, and running it on a fresh install of AI 2022 with no settings changed.

    Tested on MacOS Mojave, Big Sur, and Monterrey

    It doesn't matter which Action or Action Set is used, I've tried the included "Default Actions" and others.

    The identical scripts work fine from AI CC2020 back to at least AI CS6.

    For example, I can copy and paste this straight from Adobe's ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR CC SCRIPTING REFERENCE: APPLESCRIPT:

  13. some shortcut combinations don't work.

    Hi. I found that some shortcut combinations don't work.
    I use WIN10, Ai 2022, Korean.

    "Ctrl+Shift+1", "Ctrl+Shift+5" don't work with the number keys on the right numberpad. (with upper numberpad, it does work well.)

    (I assign them to adjust text size stuffs)

    Is that a unique situation just on me?
    Is there anyone who check these shortcut combination whether works or not?

  14. Illustrator changes color values when pasting between documents

    When I copy and paste vector objects between documents (both in CMYK mode), it often slightly changes color values, unless I hit Cmd+C three or four times before pasting. It also often pastes unformatted text in default Myriad Pro font (workaround is also hitting Cmd+C multiple times (!?)). I work in printing industry, I am very familiar with color modes and stuff, have proper synchronised color settings, but this is really annoying.

  15. Jagged artefacts on edges of objects with gradient fills or transparency

    Revisiting a Logo Artwork that I did last year (created using V.24x), the artwork has now changed ... there are jagged lines around the edges of shapes that were filled with transparency gradients. (see pic 1) This is not due to any extra nodes; the underlying geometry is the same (see pic 2).
    If I use 'Flatten Transparency' it solves the jagged lines, but adds extra 'blocks' in the corners (see pic 3). This is not something that used to happen.
    This is not multiple objects stacked, so can't Ungroup and it isn't a compound path so I can't Release.

  16. Color changes when document is closed

    I am working on several documents with a specific color, and when I close the AI file, the color switches to a different HEX code.

    This issue has no pattern that I can understand, since it does not happen with all documents. It is even more odd because if I choose the color I want with the eyedropper, it remains correct, but if I write the HEX code, it does not. Besides, the color profile doesn't change when this happens, at least that I'm aware of.

  17. Multiple import of SVG doesn't include filters. Only the first file opened includes filters.

    Situation: I have 2 SVGs I want to import into Ai.

    I import the first one and the SVG Filter Effects are applied as expected.
    Then, when I open the second SVG, Ai just completely ignores the SVG effects.

    It's a simple bug which probably should have a simple fix.
    However, as a developer, I wasted 6 hours of my time not realizing you could have such a trivial bug, one that's so easy to fix, in your software after this long.

  18. Ctrl+click on a Gradient tool icon in a toolbar to reset gradient doesn’t work

    We were able to Ctrl+click the Gradient tool button to reset gradient to default black-and-white, as stated here: https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/default-keyboard-shortcuts.html
    Now only Ctrl-clicking the preview in Gradient panel works.

  20. Changing corner radius on a shape changes unrelated anchor point

    MacOS Big Sur 11.6, Illustrator 25.4.1

    (Older versions too, I specifically reinstalled Illustrator with preferences resetted to verify if the bug is still there on the newest version)

    I have been having this issue randomly for a while, when rounding corners on some shapes, certain anchor points get displaced, often ruining symmetry. I have tried turning every kind of snapping off. It doesn't matter if the corner is changed from the panel or from the artboard. Doesn't matter if I have one corner selected on more, Illustrator sometimes decides to change a certain anchor point.
