1. Color change Problems

   I have a collection of swatch colors that I save, and for some reason, they are all getting dull. A bright orange to darker gradient turns to a muddy orange and all of the swatches are dull. I copy the logo from an older file and realize how dull my colors have become. You can see how dull the colors have become in the attached image. Also, the Graphic Styles have become duller. You can see the new refreshed colors form a different file with the two swatches at the middle bottom of the Graphic Styles window. This is a VERY serious problem, because all of the colors on my artboard have switched to these duller colors, so I have to update them to the original. Not sure why this is happening, but it needs to be fixed.

   Also, is there a way you can make a global gradient change an option that you have to choose to do, because it's changing gradients that I don't want changed. Both of these problems are VERY FRUSTRATING and waste my time.

2. selection bug

   As the title describes, this is a bug with the selection tool. I've had this bug several times today, everytime it does I have to restart Illustrator which is madness.

   feel free to check the files that I've provided, and please FIX THE BUGS BEFORE ADDING MORE FEATURE TO ILLUSTRATOR. the features are useless unless Illustrator improve the reliability to the users.

3. Adobe Illustrator asks you to Save when no changes were made?

   Why does Illustrator, for the past many years, ask you to Save when no changes were made? Makes me think I accidentally did something or forgot that I did something. If nothing was changed, Don't ask to Save....please.

4. empty progress dialog

   BUG: Hitting save, switching to another application for a bit, and then coming back to Illustrator leaves a non-dismissable, persistent blank "Progress" dialog floating behind Illustrator's windows. These empty dialogs often stack up, and only ever go away by quitting the application.

   Expected: whatever dialog this is supposed to be clears itself up, cleans itself up, and puts itself away.

   Thanks for reporting the issue. We have tried the scenario and failed to reproduce it,it would be helpful if you could provide some more information-

   Is this happening on win 7 only?

   Have you tried cleaning the preferences and re launching the application?Does that solve the issue.

   Have you encountered this issue with the latest Illustrator build?

5. Nothing happens when I double click my width tool

   When I double click my width tool to try and access my wrinkle tool nothing happens, I am currently trying to design a logo for a company in town, and would very much like the effect the wrinkle tool gives.

7. Too small to use?

   When scaling down a complex drawing especially one created by image trace it often says cannot complete the operation because it would make some objects too small to use. So how can i scale my group? Can you just disappear those objects? If they are too small to use they must be too small to see so make them go away. Or it could automatically select them so you have the option to delete them. It seems silly that i can't make something the size i need because a part of it is too small to use. I'm on mac os sierra 10.12.8 and my adobe applications are up to date.

8. Resize brush with shortcut keys for Twirl, Pucker, Bloat etc tools

   When using the set of twirl, pucker, bloat tools etc It would be great if you could change the brush size using the '[' and ']' keys like you can when using the blob brush tool. It's very slow and cumbersome to change the size of the brush in the dialogue box .

9. Unstable operation Illustrator 23.1.1 Mojave

   Unstable operation Illustrator 23.1.1 on Mojave. Reacting with delay or not reacting. Problems with menu and tools operating. New frame text always with lorem ipsum.
   GPU is disabled, Wacom tablet is uninstalling. I havn't more ideas.

10. Illustrator file not changing modification time and date after image link updating

    When I modify a photoshop image and illustrator automatically updates the link you can close the file without saving so it recognized the image link modification but did not require a save when closed. at this point file date and time do not update to current image replacement. this poses a serious problem in the commercial print industry. Archiving files is based on modification dates and times. If you don't update time and date on file with new image placed it has not
    been modified for archive. This is something that has changed in the recent cloud series updates. It was working fine since 2000 and now its not working properly. You need to stop relying design needs and pay attention to the industry as well.

11. Window snaps out of view when switching from external monitor

    MBP, OSX Mojave, when using an external monitor with the laptop screen closed everything is cool, unplug the laptop and use built in screen everything is cool.

    Once I plug the laptop back into the external monitor with the lid closed AI will snap off screen someplace.

    If I use the mission control gesture (swipe up with 3 fingers) the window appears and I can drag it to another desktop, but then it assumes the same position off screen on the new desktop.

    The only workaround I have found is to unplug the monitor, resize the window and then plug back in.

    I haven't seen this behavior with any other app.

    When having several documents open at the same time and in different tabs, out of the sudden all tabs show the same file. Forcing me to restart to be able to see again each tab with it's own design document.

13. Missing fonts issue

    It's not reading Adobe fonts. It keeps saying to activate the font every time I open a document. The program hangs trying to activate a font, making the file not work properly "without" a font that was perviously activated.

14. PDF Security

    If I password protect a pdf and then re-open it and make changes to it. I am unable to just hit save. I have to save as again and put in a password again otherwise the pdf is no longer password protected.

15. Can't open or create Illustrator files

    Illustrator CC 2019 won't open or create any .ai files since this morning.
    * Double clicking a file causes a crash
    * Opening a file through Menu > Open causes a crash
    * Creating a new file through Create new... causes a crash

    Illustrator asks me to send in a crash report, then closes.

    My system:
    Windows 10 Enterprise, 64 bit
    Version: 1903
    Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6200U CPU @ 2.30GHz
    Installed RAM: 8GB (7.90GB usable)

16. Thai text inconsistency between versions

    Thai text is inconsistent between Illustrator 2017 21.1.0 and 2018 22.1 OSX 10.14.6

    After opening and clicking on text created in 2017 accents are moved. Font Tahoma same version in both cases. See attached.

    Adobe can you look at this bug please?

    In Illustrator, I use the Type Tool to create the letter "a" using the SIMBRAILLE font. It appears correctly in Illustrator. Dot 1 is larger than dots 2,3,4,5 and 6. This is the effect I want. (I am creating special flash cards to use with a student at school). When I am done saving my file (I have the Braille cell, and the corresponding character beneath on a second layer... depicting the letter "a" is a different font (calibre regular), and the above are against my background layer (a yellow rectangle for contrast). It saves nice in Illustrator. But when I SAVE AS a PDF.... everything comes out in the PDF EXCEPT dot 6 in the PDF. this happens regardless of the letter used. It is a simple file. But I need all six dots to appear in the PDF. (For instance: the Letter A in Sim braille is depicted as follows: Dot 1 is large and prominent... while dots 2,3,4,5 and 6 are smaller. Why is dot 6 always being dropped? My illustrator is up to date as are my other products. (I have to create a whole alphabet and other words. Can you help?

18. Svg export

    Hi! I met with you at CreativePro conference in Seattle. I would like to see more control when exporting svg from Illustrator. More specifically, the ability to remove the title tag when exporting. If not, that's ok, the svgomg site cleans up svg code well. Thank you!

    Thanks a lot for reporting the issue here. We are currently looking into when we write add the title element and when we don’t.

    For more context: The problem you mentioned at CPro was the tool tip that shows up when hovering the mouse above an -embedded SVG document.

19. Cutting out parts of the exported PNG

    Exporting "saveforweb" PNG cut all the logos a few pixels in.

    P.S. ever since CC was released (and started renting out your software) the quality went down, your software doesnt work well with macos catalina. BOOOOOOO Adobe. BOOOOOOOO.

20. Keep transparency of raster images is copied / pasted / drag-n-dropped

    I have, let's say, image with background erased. I want to copy it from PS and paste into AI, intending opacity to be kept, but NO, you get opaque image.

    I don't care who is in charge for this, you or PS team, just get it done already.

    Same applies to PNGs from a browser.
