2. Buggy strokes, unwanted anti-aliasing and wrong sizes on export.

   I have just completed a project where 1800 tool icons had to be redesigned for a CAD program. Exporting my icons to single and @2x PNGs butchers my icons.

   • If strokes are set to outside, export to PNG invariably produces unwanted anti-aliasing on vertically or horizontally stacked pixels. (see image 1.png). I have a hunch this only occurs with documents that have over 100 artboards. It cannot be easily reproduced with a document containing only a single artboard. (if someone from tech support wants the document, let me know. I cannot share it publicly.)

   • When the arrow up cursor is used with a modifier key (cmd) in a number field of the transform palette, it should never increase both values if they are not locked to each other. This used to work but has been broken for at least two years now. (See ArrowUp.gif)

   • Artboards move around. I am not sure this is not me. However when I export my icons, I often have artboards on top of other artboards or some artboards have even moved hundreds of pixels away. This may be due to the way that artboards are selected though. Using shift to select several artboards does not quite work like selecting objects. There is always one artboard selected and every time the user wants to select multiple artboards via the marquee selection, one artboard somewhere in the drawing is already selected and must first be deselected by clicking into empty space. This feels non-standard.

3. Text box can no longer be colored

   When I select a text box, I can no longer assign a color to the box, only to the copy inside the box.

6. CC Libraries import yields progress indicator for thumbnail

   With the most recent release of Illustrator (23.1.1) on a Mac running Catalina 10.15 Beta, any time I drag an item into the Libraries panel, a thumbnail fails to appear (instead I get a persistent animated progress indicator). I'm able to see the correct thumbnail of the imported item in other Adobe apps (Photoshop and InDesign), as well as online (Libraries --> View on Website). Only after I restart Illustrator do they appear.

9. Font Preview Tool - Not Working, UI WAYYY TOO LARGE

   Which appears to be getting riddled with new comments as of yesterday... I am experiencing this issue. There is no options to adjust. The Preview Tool does not work either. Please FIX ASAP!

11. Fix Adobe Illustrator CC 2020 Type Library Reference - VB scripts return error

    We need to always keep the version of Adobe Illustrator CC up to date.
    Recently, the CC version used by the company has been upgraded from 2019 to 2020.

    We use the attached .NET Illustrator library module.

    As with other similar cases, I believe Adobe will solve it.

    Older versions work fine.

13. Update didn't update Recovery folder location resulting in data loss

    I just lost a bunch of work because Illustrator hadn't updated the DataRecovery folder location when it upgraded. When I went to preferences, the location was set to a non-existent folder which had been the default location for a version 23 but had been removed by the update to version 24. This is a huge oversight and needs to be corrected. To be clear, I had not set this location manually, although I have now set the location to the default folder for version 24 (which did exist, but no files). This location needs to update automatically with updates, even if manually set (since in my case it's set manually by technicality).

14. Window jumps to new size when I grab resize thumb in bottom right corner

    When I grab the resize thumb in the bottom right of a window, the window size jumps. In the two attached screenshots, the first is where the window was before I grabbed the thumb, and the second is where the window jumped to after grab. I can resize if I continue to hold the thumb, but the thumb position never matches the cursor position.

16. Pen tool shortcuts not working. Pen tool always wants to start a new path (with asterisk next to it)

    Mac OS 10.14.6

    Illustrator 23.1.1

    When selecting the pen tool it used to change to the add point tool when I hovered over the selected path, and if I hovered over an existing selected point, it would change to minus point tool. Holding down option would allow you to move the handles on a point. None of these shortcuts work any more. I can't continue an existing path either, the pen tool always wants to start a new path (with a little asterisk next to it).

17. Illustrator 23.0.1 crashing almost immediately after launch

    I am running Mojave 10.14.2 (system screenshot attached). Every time I start Illustrator, it runs for 5-10 seconds and then crashes. There are no error messages; it just dies. The same thing happens with InDesign. Photoshop appears to run without issue.

    I have tried looking for updates in the CC app, but it says that the programs are all up to date.

    I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the software, but the issue remains.

    I have seen responses for similar issues where Adobe techs say that the issue has been fixed on version 23.0.1, but that is not the case; I am running this version and the issue persists.

    Please try again, there was a server level issue that was leading to a crash on January 9th 2019

    NOTE: This issue is only for the scenario where Illustrator 23.0.1 / 23.0.0 started crashing on January 9th 2019

18. All looks jagged

    Jagged when using the Pen tool, on texts and on curved paths.
    Tried toggling the GPU and CPU preview , reinstalling the updated app, updating the drivers, updating Windows 10. The issue is still not resolved.
    Clearly see the the lines are not smooth in outline mode too.
    Unusable file with this bug.

19. ***** / skew / tilt angle disappear

    when I transform an object the rotation angle remains visible in the transformation panel while that the inclination angle disappears ... why? it's very frustrating ...
    In InDesign this is possible and correct .... not in illustrator.

    It is not possible to reset or reproduce the angle of inclination on another object.

20. Freeform Gradient points should also move on transforming Freeform Art

    Today I ran into a problem with Adobe Illustrator artwork featuring some freeform gradient fills. I had a to create flipped, mirrored version of it for printing purposes (graphics would be applied sub-surface to a sign face). The problem is the freeform gradient fills wouldn't flip with the rest of the artwork. I attached a visual example of it. Using the "expand appearance" command allowed for the artwork to be flipped 180° correctly. It would be nice if I could avoid that kind of a fix.
