  1. Workspaces don't load when CC updates

    Every time CC updates AI, my custom workspaces don't work. Either:
    a) the toolbar on the right side of the screen doesn't load at all, and going to the Window menu and clicking on the palettes I want shows them checked but they don't show up, or
    b) the right toolbar shows up collapsed, but clicking on the palette's icon does not open it up. I have to expand the entire toolbar to use the palettes.

  3. Grid Repeat becomes Non-Native Art after exiting and reopening the file .

    Windows 10 OS and Latest version of Illustrator (April 19th, 2021).

    I created a grid repeat of a object group. Then saved the file. Then closed the file. Upon reopening the file the grid repeat has become a non-native art object which I cannot edit.

    The result was utter frustration.

  4. Illustrator crash dialogue on fresh relaunch

    Windows 10
    Illustrator 25.2.1

    Illustrator crashed over 5 days ago. Ever since, whether I close Illustrator properly or not, I receive the "Adobe Illustrator quit unexpectedly" dialogue box every time I open the app.

  5. Inaccurate graph size

    Have seen this in versions of Adobe Illustrator since cs4 to cc 2021
    Currently running on Mac OS 11 Big Sur.

    When you click with the graph tool the graph generated does not match the dimensions entered. I have had results that vary from 1 to 2 points smaller but not always the same though always 1, 1.5 or 2 points. If it is one of the circular graphs it is even worse with the graph being 12.5% smaller plus -1.5 points. I have clients who request exact graph sizes and it takes 2 or three attempts to get it…

  6. Strokes in intermediate blend steps don’t inherit Gradient Along / Across Stroke property

    When blending 2 gradient (along / across stroke) paths, the newly generated paths do not keep the gradients 'along / across stroke' but switch to gradients 'within stroke' - can you fix it so the new blend retains the gradients along stroke?

  9. inconsistent covert to artboard

    If I attempt tp select a pattern inner boundry to convert to an artboard it doesn't always work. In fact I have to keep tapping it like some secret atari code and maybe it only takes 2 min or maybe it never happens and I have to turn off the computer before I smash it. Please make the conversion to an artboard easier, or at least make it easier to export patterns into a file for use elsewhere. Right now you have 100s of different ways to do it and they each have a problem. This was the best way,…

  10. Bug in Illustrator v 25.2.1 - Under Type > Font. Font menu option inactive

    Upon clicking the Type>Font menu option, nothing happens. Used to bring up list of fonts. Apparently, the person responsible for menu functionality wasn't thorough enough to include it the latest update.

  11. Change in Text position for Type on Path

    Illustrator 24.3 vers 25.2.2 sur Mac OS 10.14.6, le texte curviligne bouge d'une version à l'autre. Créer dans Illustrator 24.3 le résultat n'est plus le même à l'ouverture en Illustrator 25.2.2

    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 25.2.3 which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

  12. Locking everything exept one vector

    Hi, week ago i updated from AI 2015 to AI 2021 and had this issue a couple of times, while isolating a vector i get stuck in it, everything else becomse grayish and i cant get back in to all the layers, i can interact with them however theres gray over all of them, hope the image explains it better. If i save the file and close it and open it its still the same problem, i guess its some feature, but i don't know how to deactivate it and haven't found any help online. Thanks!

  13. Will not change stroke color

    I am trying to trace an object on illustrator but it will not let me change the color of the stroke, it will not even bring up the color swatches in the normal stroke panel for me to click on. I have tried resetting essentials classic, resetting preferences, and changing the view.

    There is nothing wrong with the file, as I can tell...

    The Swatches panel is empty indeed, the only swatch in it is the sport RGB white. Perhaps somebody deleted them to save some file size?

    If you want to have default swatches though, you can load them back.

    Open Swatches panel, click the 'bookshelf' 'Swatch Libraries menu' button, locate 'Default Swatches' and choose 'Web'. Now you can select a swatch you need directly from the opened panel, or drag-n-drop a selection of swatches you need into the main Swatches panel.

  16. Adobe Illustrator 2021 on Big Sur seems to have MANY bugs, one of them is when a vector is selected, its doesn't detect the colour.

    Note Purple but brow odd shape is selected.

  17. Illustrator no deja guardar los archivos a la primera

    Al guardar un archivo en otro formato, la opción queda bloqueada. Tengo que cerrar la ventana y volver a guardar y ahí se activa la opción de guardar en otro formato.

  19. Layer visibility incorrect after applying 3D Effect Rotate to group

    After applying the 3D Effect 'Rotate' to a group of paths, it is no longer possible to make paths invisible within the group.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1) New
    2) Draw two paths
    3) Select and group the paths
    4) Apply 3D effect 'Rotate' to the group
    5) toggle the visibility of one shape in the 'Layers'-panel

    The shape stays visible even though the visibility is turned of.
    I added a capture of the steps but not all dialogs in the capture are visible.

  20. Can't see anything but icons, no letters.

    I just installed Illustrator and I cannot see anything but icons and the top panel. I restarted it multiple times, even reinstalled it, but nothing works. I have Windows 10
