  1. Illustrator 25 very low with ICC profiles other than appleRGB and sRGB

    Hi,
    Illustrator 25 and Indesign 16 are very very slow with other ICC profiles than AppleRGB and sRGB. For example, if you switch to a profile you created yourself with Eizo colour navigator, Illustrator becomes so slow that you can no longer use it reasonably. Switching to sRGB or AppleRGB is not an option because of the lack of colour binding.
    The problem also existed in Lightroom 10.1. and was fixed by the Lightroom developers in 10.2. Maybe the Illustrator teams should get together with the Lightroom teams to fix the problem.

  2. Saving file issues

    I am trying to save another file and I get this . The file is not opened by anyone other than myself, also, the folder name is the same and the file is not read only. I keep having this issue constantly!

  3. Saving issues

    I have an issue with illustrator, files are not saving properly. The file 15 year warranty vector I created is saving as "~ai-87c8b406-558b-424b-915b-974d5eb7acda_"

    Or it doesnt save at all.

    I am running the latest illustrator

  5. 'cannot complete the operation because the layer is locked or invisible'.

    Always getting prompt: 'cannot complete the operation because the layer is locked or invisible'. Whenever I open an existing doc or switch between tabs! Started happening a couple of weeks or soago. Have updated, reinstalled, deleted prefs etc etc. Driving me crazy!

  6. How to stop .tmp$$$ when export .png file on Illustrator from Avast Anti-virus

    The cause of this annoying problem came from the ransomware shield function from Avast. This is an easy method to solve this problem.

    1. Go to Avast Antivirus user interface.
    2. Select the protection tab.
    3. Select ransomware shied.
    4. Protected folder by Avast Ransomware shield will appear.
    5. Click the checkbox of the protected file location that you choose to export which shown for protection.(C:\USER...\Pictures etc.)
    6. When you select, the message of the selected folder and "Stop Protection" button will appear.
    7. Click stop protection.

    after this procedure, you can export .png file or else and preview it as you please. Please try...

  7. Missing canvas

    I used basically every option just to check if that'll help. I have no idea what I've done, it just disappeared when I was trying to delete all selections. It's still the same after restarting the program. Pls help. ;-;

  8. Configuração de Cores ficou horrivel

    Depois a última atualização do illustrator, as configurações de cores ficou toda bgunçada, o programa força a opção "EMULAR ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR 6.0", e quando acesso arquivos que ja tem as cores com seus valores definidos o programa muda as cores por conta própria. Não encontrei uma maneira de desabilitar essa função.

  9. Allow templates to save a color profile

    Allow templates to save a color profile instead of opening EVERY TIME as untagged RGB or CMYK. Or at the very least, since Color Management Policy is set to Convert to Working Space... DO THAT!

  10. Artboards jumping across screen

    My operating system is Catalina. 10.15.7
    Illustrator CC 2021
    Apple Mac 2020 27". 40GB RAM

    I have an issue with the whole artboard juddering across the screen when I move an element in illustrator. The juddering can last 60 seconds or more.

    I am a packaging designer and use a WACOM. This only happens when the WACOM is in use, to the point I have to physically unplug it and use a mouse (not ideal) to stop it happeneing. I have spoken to WACOM who tell me they have contacted Adobe, but the issue still isn't fixed.

  13. v25.21 can't drag Illustrator window to external monitor (Windows 10 64-bit)

    Clicking and dragging the illustrator window cannot bring it from the primary monitor to the external monitor. All other windows and programs can do it my system except Illustrator.

  14. My colors keep getting dull randomly without changing settings

    This has happened repeatedly on different documents. When I select a color, I find that when I look back at the file (without closing the file) in 15-20 minutes, the colors become dull. My settings are in RGB.

  15. Syncing to Drop Box

    I am now having issues saving my illustrator files. When I try there is a notice that says "unknown error occurred."

    I was told by customer service that Creative Suite now has issues with Drop Box and we have to save our files to "downloads".

    This needs to be rectified. There has never been an issue with saving to my Drop Box before. Does Adobe plan to fixing issues?

    Adobe and Drop Box need to figure out why this is happening.
    Losing hours because can no longer save/duplicate.

  16. Gradients got broken when reopening a file

    A file I created only three months ago in an older version of Illustrator (project still ongoing) no longer shows the gradations. I spent DAYS creating. When I finally found where to get online Adobe support (that is not right), the tech had me download an older version of Illustrator as the solution. That does not seem like a solution. How do I keep these gradations in the new version? Why did they disappear? I have been a dedicated, daily user of Illustrator since 1990. I have more and more problems every year/upgrade.   17. Error message when exporting PNG, [!now]

    OS: macOS Big Sur version 11.2.3 (20D91)
    Illustrator version 25.2.1

    When using "export as" from the file menu, after making all selections and confirming, I get the error message "The operation cannot complete because of an unknown error [!now]"
    I have to click OK to get rid of this message, however the image appears to export normally (PNG)

  18. Strings that are too long per line are not rendered

    Strings that are too long in one line are not rendered

    OS: Windows 10 Pro 20H2
    Ai Version: 25.2.1

    This problem is probably caused by documents that are larger than about 2000px on a side.
    If the text has no line breaks and exceeds a certain font size, the text will not be displayed at all.
    Image output is also not possible.
    It is also common for this problem to occur at the same time as Adobe Fonts license errors and save errors.

  19. Blue is now purple

    When selecting a vibrant blue with the color-picker it shows it correctly and when it is applied it looks purple. (the color's HEX is correct though)

    This also happens when I drag&drop an image that has vibrant blue colors in it.

    Any ideas why this is happening?
