1. Color settings become unsynchronized when any image gets placed in document

   After the 30.2.1 update, (mac os 26.3.1, Win 11) I noticed a very strange and annoying behavior in Illustrator. It's about Color Settings. I use "Europe General Purpose 3" and I apply it via Bridge to all apps, i.e. Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. Everything works and when I look in those apps color settings — I see "synchronized" everywhere. However, if I place any image in Illustrator — "synchronized" immediately changes to "unsynchronised". Even if I change to "Europe General Purpose 3" in the settings dropdown (in Illustrator) again and save the Ai document - when it opens, I see "unsynchronised" again in the Color Settings panel. I haven't seen such nonsense since 2006 when I started working with Illustrator. I believe this is just a bug and it will be fixed in the next version. Does anyone else have this situation?

2. Artboard spacing value looses precision

   I use classic New Document dialog (it’s fast and reliable, unlike the modern one).
   Within it, I can set a value that later would be used to space new artboards when adding ones, or to rearrange them.
   If I only have one artboard (and I usually create one only, even when a project later gets more), I can’t set this value immediately, and the value gets transferred from the previous one I set there...

   ...not really. Here, I have to make it 2 artboards to have the field active (why? — I made another request to have it active — http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657/suggestions/51116134 — and one more before it, to have this value editable without workarounds — https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657/suggestions/43218936). Then, I make it 20 mm (and make it 1 artboard again)
   After I create a document, I immediately create a new one — and it gets '19.999 mm' again.

   I know some people in USA are used to have prices like $599. Screw it. I don’t need this applied to spacing. Yeah, sure it’s the math error. Make sure the value is kept as set.

3. Illustrator crash on relinking image

   Windows 11, all Adobe software up to date, Illustrator 30.2.1 (64-bit)

   Raster artwork in my Illustrator files is stored in a folder adjacent to my Illustrator folder. Occasionally, I must insert a file into the numbering structure, so the raster artwork becomes 'orphaned'. So, when I open the Illustrator file, I get the relink artwork dialogue box. If I hit relink, a relink box appears, followed instantly by a Gaussian blur dialogue box with a 100% blue bar, and Illustrator freezes, requiring a shutdown via Task Manager.

   If I reset my preferences (a 2-minute job using AG Astute Manager), it solves the issue for 1 or 2 files, but then it returns. The workaround is to click ignore and then relink the image manually, but it's a pain when fixing many files.

4. Canvas not visible when opening or creating files in Adobe Illustrator

   I’m experiencing an issue where the canvas (artboard/work area) does not appear when I open an existing file or create a new document in Adobe Illustrator.

   The application itself opens normally, and the UI loads (menus, toolbars, panels), but the main canvas area where the artwork should be displayed is completely missing or blank.

   Steps to Reproduce:
   - Open Adobe Illustrator
   - Create a new file OR open an existing file
   - Illustrator loads the interface normally
   - The canvas/artboard does not appear

   Expected Result:
   The canvas/artboard should be visible and ready for editing.

   Actual Result:
   The canvas area is not displayed at all, making it impossible to view or edit any artwork.

   Additional Notes:
   The issue happens consistently when opening or creating files.
   The rest of the interface appears functional.

5. 文字パネルのカーニング設定のドロップダウンのチェックマークが1つ前の選択オブジェクトの設定を表示する

   Step to Reproduce

6. L'utilisation de l'outil Pipette nécessite l'utilisation du sélecteur de couleurs et la pression sur Entrée.

   Quand j'utilise la pipette pour sélectionner une couleur (peu importe en rvb ou CMJN) sur des visuels simples, (la plupart du temps) je suis obligée de passer par le sélecteur pour refaire la démarche et obligatoirement je dois appuyer sur entrée pour valider mon choix (si je fais ok ça ne marche pas non plus) (je suis sur mac 14.3.1) j'utilise illustrator 30.0.0 (et ce problème persiste depuis 2- 3versions antérieures déjà. 7. Fehler: Zeichenfläche verdoppelt beim Anpassen an Grafik

   Windows 11 Pro, AI.30.2.1.. ich markiere meinen Pfad und öffne "Zeichenflächen". Ich wähle "An ausgewählte Grafik anpassen". Bestätige. Nun sollte Zeichenfläche 1 eine neue Größe haben.
   Währenddessen wird die Zeichenfläche verdoppelt und eine Zeichenfläche 2 erzeugt.
   Der Fehler tritt nicht auf, wenn man sehr lange wartet zwischen den Arbeitsschritten. Also ca. das Fenster 1 Minute geöffnet lässt.

   Das Problem besteht seit ein paar Tagen. Eigentlich sollte die Zeichenfläche nur angepasst werden, nicht verdoppelt.

8. Panning at high zoom levels appears blurry

   There wasn't until the last version of 2023, but it came up at some point.

   <Things I've tried>
   - Upgrade computer RAM, cpu, graphics card
   - Check on 3 computers
   - Initialization
   - Initialize configuration settings
   - rename and reset folders in %appdata%
   - Check after installing an earlier version of illustration
   - Check after installing the latest illustration version
   - Upgrade/downgrade graphics card drivers to the latest
   - Turn off gpu acceleration (not a fundamental solution)
   - Check Windows Update
   - Update/Remove and reinstall the Wacom driver
   - Check by file capacity (at least one letter appears in the blank document. No matter file size.)
   - Pixel Preview settings has always been unchecked
   - The file path is local, not server.

10. Gradient Panel gets cut off when selecting a gradient object.

    There's an odd bug on Mac (M1 Pro with Latest version of Tahoe) where the Gradient Panel will expand in a way that it cuts off the position input when selecting an object with a gradient. Collapsing and opening the panel temporarily fixes it, but if you click off and click another gradient object again, it'll do it again.

    This bug was also in 30.1, and I just updated to the latest version a few minutes ago, tested it again, and the issue is still there.

11. Transparency Lost in After Effects When Importing v30 AI Files

    Transparency Information Lost When Importing Illustrator v30 AI Files into After Effects 2026

    Environment:
    - Hardware: MacBook Pro 16-inch (November 2023), Apple M3 Pro, 36GB RAM
    - OS: macOS Sequoia 15.7.4
    - Illustrator version with issue: v30.2.1 (2026)
    - Illustrator version without issue: v28.7.10 (2024)
    - After Effects version: 2026

    When an .ai file saved in Illustrator 2026 (v30) is imported as footage into After Effects 2026, transparency information — including blend modes, opacity settings, and effects such as drop shadows — is lost or ignored. Affected layers render as fully opaque.

    Re-saving the identical artwork in Illustrator 2024 (v28.7.10) and importing that file into the same After Effects project resolves the issue completely.

    This suggests that a change in the .ai file format or internal data structure introduced in v30 is no longer being parsed correctly by After Effects' AI importer.

    Saving from v28.7.10 is a confirmed workaround, but this should not be necessary.

    Is there a known fix? Is this a confirmed bug?

12. PDF/X-4 Export Produces Non-Compliant PDFs in Illustrator v30.2.1

    In v28, when exporting PDF/X-4 via an Action or script, inserting a "Convert to Working CMYK" step into the workflow allowed consistent production of PDF/X-4 compliant files with no preflight errors.

    In v30, following the exact same workflow with identical files and the same preset now produces non-compliant PDFs. Acrobat preflight reports two distinct errors that did not occur in v28.

    Preflight Error #1 — Placed image ICC profile conflict:
    "CMYK source profile is the same as the PDF/X output intent destination profile (201 occurrences, 2 pages)"

    Cause: Placed PSD files have Japan Color 2001 Coated embedded as an ICC profile. Since the output intent is also Japan Color 2001 Coated, v30 appears to write both into the PDF in a way that triggers a conflict. This did not occur in v28 with identical source files.

    Preflight Error #2 — Transparency blend color space conflict:
    "Transparency blend color space is the same as the output intent destination profile (13,681 occurrences, 2 pages)"

    Cause: v30 appears to embed the document's transparency blend space (Japan Color 2001 Coated, derived from the working CMYK setting) in a way that conflicts with the output intent. This also did not occur in v28.

    PDF Preset Settings (X4_Johnset):
    - Standard: PDF/X-4:2010
    - Compatibility: Acrobat 7 (PDF 1.6)
    - Color Conversion: No Conversion
    - Output Intent Profile: Working CMYK — Japan Color 2001 Coated
    - Profile Inclusion Policy: Include All RGB & Tagged Source CMYK Profiles

    Both errors are absent when exporting the same file with the same preset from v28.7.10. This appears to be a regression introduced in v30.

    Is there a known workaround? Is this a confirmed bug?

    30.2.1にて前面へペーストが二重になるバグが時々でます。
    イラレを再起動や画面の切り替えで治ったり治らなかったり。
    前のバージョンではならず、別の初期化済みMacでも発生します。

14. ファイルのアクセス権が起動時に必ず求められる

    Mac版についてになります。
    アプリの起動を行うと、まず初めに

    「Adobe Illustrator 2026から、他のアプリからのデータへのアクセス権を求められています。」
    という確認ポップアップが、表示されるようになりました。

    Macの設定にある、「セキュリティ、プライバシー」のファイルアクセスなどに関する権限をみたところ、追加がされていませんでした。
    （なお、PremiereやPhotoshopは追加されていました）
    残念ながら、Mac上では対象アプリを追加することができないようになっており、これらの対応策が見つからない状態になりました。

    同様の現象などで回避策をお持ちでしたらご教示ください。

    Mac OS26.3
    Illustrator　30.2.1の最新版

    （26/3/14現在）

    このバージョンにアップデートしてから今回のような症状が現れた記憶になります。

15. BUG: Swatch color not changing with selection of different element.

    When selecting individual elements in my .ai file, the swatch bar does not show the actual color. Instead, it shows the previously selected color.

    Something changed - you used to be able to select an element and easily determine which color it was. This glitch is a major problem - as I'm trying to prep my files for print and a small error will be quite costly.

    Instead, I have to double-click the "fill" color in the top of the swatch bar to open up the cmyk build

16. Add Used Colors command in Swatches ignores colors from Repeat objects

    Repeat Objects are strange objects.

    If we choose Add Used Color, color from the repeat object are ignored.

17. Select All Unused in Swatches selects colors used in Repeat objects

    Repeat Objects are strange objects.

    If colors are only inside a repeat object, using Select All Unused will select the swatches even when use in the repeat object.

18. Font explorer dropdown from the Character section in Properties panel is obscured by other panels with 2 columns of docked panels

    Running 30.2.1

    When the new Character panel is open and font has been selected, the panel is now so big that it becomes obscured if I open a property on the second panel, so I cannot make further font adjustments without closing the second panel.

    It seems the properties panel process is selective for some properties and not for others, e.g., Transform opens in both panels, whereas Appearance does not. The UX seems inconsistent. Something feels off.

19. Dashed strokes with round caps and zero dash lengths (dotted dash) looks very imprecise when using Large Canvas, with GPU Preview

    A 1 pt stroke with 0 dash length, when created within a large canvas file, looks chewed. When expanded, the points get baked like this.
    CPU Preview shows these correct, but expanding it still creates dancing points.
    Doesn’t happening in a normal canvas sized docs.

    Large canvas should become stable finally. So many bugs with it!

20. A very thin variable stroke appears shifted

    When I reduce the stroke width to a very thin value, the stroke no longer appears center-aligned and instead shifts to one side.
