Export Artboards occasionally exports bleed
I'm using Windows 10, up to date as of 8th Nov 2020.
I have a new file, 85mm x 55mm. set up with a 3mm bleed. When attempting to export a JPG or PNG without the bleed (so, only the artboard visible) it still outputs the bleed area. I have tried exporting for screen, exporting with the 'Use Artboards' box both checked and unchecked. I have even reset my Illustrator preferences. No idea why this is suddenly not working in V25.0
I also get an error when attempting to export at 300DPI, which has never been an issue in…

Doesn't Copy to new artboard NOR all artboards
Doesn't work consistently when i try to copy and paste from one art board to another artboard. I need the shapes to be in the exact same spot on the other artboard, and not eyeball it.
Same thing when copying to all artboards. Sometimes it just pastes off in the distance somewhere...NOT on an artboard.

Delete Artboards command can’t be recoded in actions
You can’t force Illustrator to record a deletion of artboards in an action, whatever method you use — a button in the panel, a panel’s menu, with or without Insert Menu Item workaround.
How stupid is this.EVERYTHING is Illustrator should be recordable.

Bug generating previews when saving multiple artboards
When saving AI and EPS files using artboards, file previews (thumbnails) are not generated. All files display the preview of the original file. To rectify this, it is necessary to open and overwrite the files.

Exporting of Multiple Artboards in PDF gets messed up the order of pages (Artboards)
Exporting an AI file that has multiple artboards in it to PDF used to show the artboards in order. Now it just messes up my artboard order. The artboard names are 1,2,3,4.. After export the pages come in this order: 1,2,4,3
My illustrator version: 25.4.1
Same file works perfectly in the previous version (before I updated)

Guides, Rulers and Artboards Bug
In a document with multiple artboards when I have an active artboard (black outline) and then go to drag a vertical guide from the left ruler, the measurements change and a different artboard gets selected that's running under the rulers. When clicking in the rulers any object, layer or artboard selection needs to be suspended.

Export Artboards "Name" Error
I exported first one Artboard of 2 or 3 in the beginnning of a design process, the changed the names in the end of all 3 artboards to the projectname. The first artboard still kept the original name ("artboard 01" or else) so i had to rename by hand this file. Pretty weird.

Illustrator won't export the correct artboards
Everytime i try to export a document, either as a PDF, JPEG, PNG, it won't export the correct artboards; say I have a document with 10 artboards and I want to export only 1 to 5, it will export all the pages. If I'm trying to export just one artboard as a JPEG, sometimes it will export another one randomly. Yes I'm making sure the artboards are labeled correctly, yes I type the correct numbers when exporting, but nothing seems to help, illustrator just exports whatever, I have to save the document, close it and open it again…

Artboards name disappear after renaming
After renaming an artboard in the panel, it will return to it's default name eg. , Artboard [x], instead of maintaining the new name.

Artboard orientation changes from vertical to horizontal by itself
After update to 28.3, some artboards are switching orientation by themselves. It's not specific to content or number of artboards, apparently. Sometimes I just open a document with some artboards and hover my cursor over them (not even clicking anything) and the artboard just flips orientation from vertical to horizontal. Most of my work consists on social media posts (1080x1920px or 1080x1350px) witch now Illustrator insists in automatically switching to Landscape for no apparent reason.
By the way, the content is not flipped, just the artboard. And not all of them, usually just one out of the 10 or…12 votesThe team has been investigating this problem in-house, and so far fails to find the exact steps required to make this happen. Seems to be either file- or machine-specific.
Please provide your full specs and try to come up with exact steps that lead to this.
A test file and a test video will surely help!

Unticking "Use Artboards" when saving PDF does not work as expected
Illustrator 24.0
Expected result: A PDF file containing a single page of all the artwork in the document. Artboards should be completely ignored. Page size, cropbox, artbox, trimbox and bleedbox should all be equivalent to the total size of all the artwork in the document.
Actual result: PDF contains one page for each artboard, seemingly identical to what happens when "Use Artboards" is ticked.

Export for screens > SVG Exports only some of the artboards.
MacOS Mojave 10.14.6
Illustrator 24.0When I use the export for screens it doesn't export all of my artboards to SVG. I have 21 artboards and only 8 of them are being exported.
Is there any workaround for this bug?
UPDATE: It exports all the artboards but it takes a long long time. Is it normal?
Thanks

Editing a symbol doesn't stay in-place and keeps artboards visible
1) Editing symbols in place doesn't stay "in place"
When I double-click a symbol to edit it in place, it moves to a totally different part of the artboard. When I try to position the symbol where I want it and then exit, it moves to a new place in the artboard. When I go to edit it again, it moves yet again elsewhere. It's impossible to get it to stay anywhere consistently.2) Editing symbols keeps the "multi" artboard context, which makes it hard to see the symbol you're working on because it's overlaid on the gray background, randomly…

Artboards disappear and is replaced by guides for artboard when reopening an existing document
Using Illustrator Version 22.0.1 on PC. Also happens on my Imac at work as well.
This happens from time to time but does get somewhat annoying when it does.
When I open an existing document, the artboards are all gone except for one artboard and what is left instead are guides for where those artboards are meant to be, and a new layer has been created in the layers panel with the name 'Guide For Artboards'.
There isn't anything out of the ordinary I do when saving a file so I have no idea why it likes to do…
2 votesDeclined · AdminNitish Agarwal (Illustrator on Web/iPad Team) (Lead Software Engineer, Adobe Illustrator) respondedHi,
You need save files in Illustrator CS4 or higher version to preserve the artboards. If any file file is saved below that version all the artboards are converted into guides.
Thanks

When creating new document in 24.2, two artboards are created
Creating new document. Two artboards appear, even though I only requested one. I also now have "video safe areas" showing in default and can't get them to not show upon setting up new document.

Multiple Artboards only saving as main file name
When exporting multiple artboards, they are not saving as individual artboard names but rather, trying to save as the main file name.
