1. Cannot select or move a stroke with the direct selection tool

   I created a square. I tried to select one edge of the square to alter the shape. The direct selection tool would not select the stroke. It was a 1 point stroke. No matter which mode I used (outline or preview) it would not select the stroke.

   I expect the direct selection tool to be able to select a stroke so that I can move it. This is not happening. Well, it does happen, eventually, but only after about 30 attempts. It should only take one attempt. And, no, changing the the selection tolerance does not help, and "object selection by path only" is not selected. Any help to get the program to actually work is greatly appreciated.

   MacOS Catalina 10.15.3
   Illustrator 2020 version 24.1.0

2. Illustrator and InDesign crashing multiple times a day

   I have a weird crash — many but not all times I step away from my Mac (2020 MacBook Pro 16" running Catalina; 64GB RAM, AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8 GB; Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB), Illustrator goes down (and often, InDesign as well). I'll come back and wake up the machine and am greeted with system crash messages. The crash message seems to be related to Dispatch queue. Is it possible this is tied to sleep functionality, or perhaps a GPU issue? Would love to resolve this.

3. Shape Builder deletes line sections that should stay.

   I have a complex design with a bunch of overlapping parts and I'm trying to use shape builder to connect sections together. when I select all my lines, then start to build my shapes, it will start deleting lines that are not part of the shape I'm working on. Usually these lines are part of the line I'm working on, but outside of the shape I'm trying to build. The lines aren't highlighted while I'm selecting the pieces of the shape, but disappear anyway. I have tried breaking the line between the shape I'm building and the lines that I don't want deleted, but they still disappear.

4. Scrolling or zooming causes round Corner Widgets to get deselected

   Steps to reproduce:
   1. draw a rectangle
   2. Use the mouse to select ONE of the corners' radius handle (the bullseye handle inside the corner)
   3. Move the mouse wheel to pan (or zoom) a small distance.
   4. The bug happens here! The corner radius handle is no longer selected, and dragging the handle now affects all four corners. This is no good if you want to have only one corner radiused. I only noticed this recently so I think it's a newly introduced problem.

   Panning or zooming should NOT affect the selections that the user has made.

   The kerning between the letters "F" and "i" is not working in illustrator whichever font I use. It works in Indesign

6. Survey Request

   The annoying prompt to take the survey cannot be turned off. Even on completing it I am still prompted to take it - when you do its recognized you've already taken this. This survey prompt should be disabled at least when it's been taken once.

7. The input fields and dropdowns get visual artifacts and then illustrator crashes sometimes after that.

   The text boxes and dropdowns get visual artifacts - resizing illustrator causes ui to disappear until you hover over it, and then illustrator becomes unresponsive or crashes after that.

11. Text element with multiple paragraph styles & colors turns white when adding used colors

    I have a text element with two paragraphs and have assigned a style to each paragraph. One paragraph style is a different color, for emphasis.

    When I go to Swatches (palette) > Add Used Colors, all of the text turns white (invisible against a white artboard) and a swatch named "K=0" is added to the swatches palette. This can be avoided by setting all Paragraph Styles to black or no color and using Character Styles to apply color, but that's not really how the styles are supposed to work.

    If the paragraph and character styles ever are fully functional in Illustrator, it would also be lovely to be able to assign shortcuts to styles, like in InDesign.

12. "Double Click To Isolate" preference does not work

    Using the direct selection tool to try and double-click your way to grabbing a grouped object within another group of grouped objects fails. It simply doesn't select any of the other elements. This is a paralysing bug that may well see me dumping my CC subscription and going back to Illustrator CS5 or 6. From what I read, this bug is old so why hasn't Adobe fixed it?
    Attached is the file with the bug. Try double-clicking the green nodes on the chart with the direct selection tool. It should grab all the dots. Then expand out and grab the other grouped elements. It does not.
    I'm on the latest version of Catalina using the latest version of Illustrator.

13. Unable to change language

    Windows 10, CC2020.

    I am unable to change the Installation language of Illustrator. No matter what I do it always installs itself as English (International). I am trying to change it to Norwegian to record a tutorial. This often happens, but with CC apps it is **** to efficiently try to change app languages. Fiddling with obscure settings files, renaming folders, reinstalling applications, or sometimes being forced to reinstall every single CC app and do a complete cleaning of the system.

    IT SHOULD BE A SIMPLE LANGUAGE DROP-DOWN IN PREFERENCES. /rant

    What I have attempted:

    1. I created a new Windows User Account.
    2. Change OS language to Norwegian. This seems to change the language of the CC desktop app.
    3. Uninstall Illustrator, and remove preferences. Verify that application folder is gone.
    4. Uninstall the CC dekstop app.
    5. Reinstall the CC dekstop app.
    6. In the CC desktop app, set the default app language to Norwegian.
    7. Reinstall Ai.

    Result: Illustrator installs with english language, not norwegian.

    I tried uninstalling the dekstop app and Ai both normally, and using the CC cleaner app.

    I notice the in the CC desktop app that the description of the app is in english, but for some other apps it's in Norwegian. There must be a hidden setting/file somewhere locking it to English. Where can I find this and delete the **** thing? I have now spent two hours trying to change my language. This should not happen.

16. "Not Compatible"

    I have a MacBook Pro, El Capitan 2015. The Adobe Suite is now saying all of my apps are "Not Compatible". I tried restarting my computer and the Adobe system multiple times. I was on the phone for over 3 hours with Adobe, no help, just said my computer is too old.

18. Pinch to Zoom not working

    Seems this issue has been beaten to death with no resolution...Pinch to zoom and two finger panning does not work for me. I am using a Dell XPS 15" 9570 with everything updated. Macbook does this feature flawlessly however not on windows. I know I am not the only one. PLEASE fix this issue.

19. Cannot use the Script in Illustrator 20 for Mac to create PDFs

    I used to save all my ai files in Illustrator as PDFs and SVGs using the SaveDocsAsPDF and SaveDocsasSVG. The SVGs work but the when I go to open up the PDFs I get the error message attached. So now I have to go into each ai file and save it manually as a pdf. It takes a lot of time when you ave 30+ files.

20. Crashing, can't open

    Illustrator crashes everytime I try to open it, whether opening a file or just the app. I have tried reinstalling it. I am using a brand new Dell computer (Windows 10 Pro, Illustrator version 42.1.1).
