can't read pdf in acrobat pro dc, created in illustrator CC 2019, since update
can't read pdf in acrobat pro dc created in illustrator CC 2019. Opens file but shows no content. Illustrator some times struggles to open ai files, very slow.

Can't use 'Export As" as an action to export jpg
I have created an action for export as JPG, but when I play the action, I got an error message say "can't save the illustration" The object is not currently available

Scrolling is not smooth anymore
The scrolling in illustrator is not smooth or fast anymore. I have to swipe way too many times to move a bit around the artboard. Very frustrating. What gives?
I have just updated my OS and Illustrator. (Mohave, Illustrator 2019).

Blob tool won't change size
When I use the blob tool it won't change size from 1 pt. No matter if I change the size. It is very frustrating to use so I can do college homework.
This issue is on both my Acer laptop with my Huion tablet and on my Surface Pro 3. I reinstalled the app on my laptop and didn't fix the issue.

Hi,
Please press the enter key while using BLOB brush (when Blob Brush Tool is selected) and set the size to 1 pt. in the Blob Brush Tool Options dialog.

Isolate Selected Groups Does Not Work in CC 2019
Spent 4 days following a tutorial thinking I was losing my mind.
Then, it dawned on me I downloaded CC 2019 four days ago.
Downloaded CC2017 and the operation works as advertised.
Used especially for cartooning…
Goes like this:
1. Select all inked artwork>Object>Expand Appearances>Merge.
Create and color a rectangle covering artwork.
Select All>Merge
Then>>>>>Right Click<<<< and click "Select Isolate Selected Groups”
This will put editable color with all closed line work.The enclosed pic is where things go wrong in 2019
Once Isolate Selected groups is clicked you should be able to delete the outside green in isolation mode…4 votesPlease post a test file

Scaling with the Selection Tool
I can't seem to use the black arrow tool to scale objects anymore?? Anyone else having the same issue? I've checked a number of different forum boards, but no one seems to be having the same issue. Any help?

freeform gradient tool is grayed out and not working.
I have updated Illustrator and the new freeform gradient tool is grayed out in the gradient panel. It is not usable.

Rotate dialogue box is now painfully inefficient (CC2019)
Rotate and Scale functions used to work the same, where you could press R+Enter or S+Enter to bring up their respective dialogue boxes, type in a number, and hit Enter. Very fast, very efficient. Now when you call up the Rotate dialogue box, the focus is on this manual angle widget instead of the numeric field. And should you try to use Tab to change the focus to that field you have to hit it 5x.
This used to be extremely efficient, which was great since it's not uncommon to use this feature hundreds of times in a day. It…

Oversize UI Elements in Ai 2019
I noticed that with the 2019 version of Illustrator (23.0), the entire UI of the software seems to be "supersized." It is as if every pixel is now rendered oversized. Not just in the drawing area, but all the tools, controls, panels, everything.
I've attached a "full screen" screen shot of the 2019 (v. 23.0) welcome screen, and the (reinstalled) 2018 (v. 22.1) welcome screen. Both are maximized on the same physical screen, the display on my MacBook Pro. See how the buttons and other elements are larger in the 2019 version? Like it is somehow zoomed in.

Color panel switches from secondary display to the primary display
I run 2 monitors in Windows 7, most typically with my artboard window on the left (display 'A'), and a layout of panels on the right (display 'B').
Not sure whether it started with this immediately after installing 2019, but today, any click on a Fill/Stroke proxy, either the one in the Color panel, or the one at the bottom of the Tools panel, the Color panel instantly jumps from display B to (the same position on) display A.

Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

the letter "i" is sometimes not exported to SVG..
For example: i tried to export the following paragraph to SVG:
"Synchronization job is designed to perform file transfer between multiple agents back and forth, or perform one-way file transfer. Files in the shares can be modified, new file added and some deleted, and these changes synced to other agents in real time."the word "file" always gets exported as "fle"

sig malfunction
When exporting a svg for screens the height and width tag has gone missing in the exported svg-file so the appear in odd sizes in my projects – I worked in the pro version og ai – whish I hadn't upgraded :)

Illustrator v23 desktop glitchy
Hi, im running Illustrator CC 2019 v23 on Windows 7 32gb Ram. The keyboard shortcuts dont work (ctrl+A for example), mouse scroll zoom doesnt work. All drop down menus, File/Edit etc, will shut randomly making it impossible to select any options. As it stands completely unusable. Anyone else haviing these issues?

Artboard border obstructs topmost and leftmost rows of pixels at 100% zoom
In AI CC 2018 and 2019, on Windows 10 Home 64 bit, the black border of artboards overlaps the top row and left column of pixels in the image when zoomed to 100%. (For 2019, Pixel Preview must be on to properly see this because of https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447-illustrator-bugs/suggestions/35736118-100-view-is-not-100-for-pixels-in-cc2019)
The attached screenshot shows a 16x11px artboard zoomed way in on the left, and at 100% on the right, plus an 8x version I added so it can be seen better. Clearly part of the white outline is obstructed by the the black border of the artboard. Not good!

AI 23.0 crashes when drag-copying simple objects when yo have HotDoor's CADtools installed
Since I installed version 23.0 it frequently and repeatably crashes when drag-copying even the simplest objects. In the latest example it was a line segment -- two connected vertices. After recovering, I rebuilt the objects and tried again -- same result. This is such a basic operation that I do it without thinking -- having it cause an instant crash is very debilitating to my workflow.

Editing Library-Item Name prompts "Move Object" pop up.
After the most recent update to Adobe Illustrator (v. 23.0) on Windows 64-bit system. Every time I name/rename an object added to my Library panel, on hitting 'Enter/Return' to save the change and leave the edit state, the 'Move Object' pop-up appears (and I have to close it to return to what I was doing.
As I've been adding a series of icons to my Adobe CC Library, this is a very tedious process to close this pop-up every. single. time.

Mouse scroll animated zoom is broken when in Pixel Preview mode
I just updated to Illustrator 2019 on a Windows 10 PC
Given I have any size project open
And my "zoom to selection" preferences are on or off
When I turn on pixel preview view mode
And I have alt selected
And I use my mouse to zoom in and out
Then zoom chooses a random center point to anchor it's zoomI have no issues when in "Overprint preview" mode, or when using my keyboard in "Pixel preview" mode.
