1. colour themes/swatches/window never work

   colour themes/swatches/window never work. Every time I try to do anything within the colour theme window I'm either asked to sign in when already signed in, or I try to create a theme and it 'saves' but doesn't actually do so, and afterward the theme window goes blank and I have to restart illustrator.

   And now instead of doing work I'm here writing this and researching alternatives to adobe products. The sign in thing is driving me nuts.

2. Not Responding every time PDF saved

   Every time I save my work as a PDF file my Illustrator freezes for up to 10 minutes at a time. This makes productivity EXTREMELY slow and frustrating!

   Illustrator version 22 is not supported on macOS 10.14 (Mojave).
   Please upgrade to version 23 to resolve the issue.

4. macOS Mojave zoom in and out choppy

   MacBook Pro 2017 just upgraded to macOS Mojave and the zoom is slow to respond and the artboard moves all over the place. any short term fixes would be appreciated.

5. Color palette overrides fill colors and color modes in Illustrator 2018

   Hi, I am a design professor and most students in my class experienced a specific problem when we were doing an exercise to learn how to apply the correct color palettes to different logo files. Specifically, we created fictional identity designs as a means to learn how to create a production-ready bundle of files (a logo with versions in b&w, spot color (Pantone), 4-color process, and RGB). Almost 100% of my 18 students had their 4-color process file -- which was filled with CMYK colors upon designing, and should have stayed CMYK -- show up as being filled with RGB when opened after having been closed.

   Through testing this unusual pattern of error across all of their files, it appears that Adobe Illustrator will choose to show colors in the color palette that was last opened within the application, and if the palette isn't the same as the fill colors, it creates a color translation of what the color should be into what it want to show you. Stated another way, the students had trouble getting the color palette to hold the color information they entered (percentages/values of either CMYK or RGB, in particular). Regardless of what they had entered, a computer with one or the other of these color palettes open would override their settings. Unacceptable. In one case, I also witnessed a student manually enter RGB values, only to deselect the item, select the object again, and then find different RGB values in place than those I watched him enter. In 19 years of teaching, I've never seen this problem be so widespread across student files.

   For what it's worth, the Pantone palette behaved. The problem specifically is between RGB and CYMK colors/color palettes. PLEASE FIX THIS. This will cause major problems in real projects that rely upon color mode accuracy. Please contact me with information about the problem and/or solution. We would appreciate a follow-up.

6. Libraries drop down doesn't allow me to select other libraries

   I can't click on other libraries from the one that's already showing. I click the drop down menu and I try to click another library, but nothing happens and I stay on the already selected library.

7. Select Objects Behind with Cmd/Ctrl click only works on filled objects

   The option to select objects behind by holding Cmd/Ctrl and clicking sequentially works when clicking an object's fill, but not its path. As such, it doesn't work if 'Object Selection by Path Only' is enabled in preferences.

   I can't think of a reason it shouldn't work when clicking on a path, so I'm reporting as a bug.

8. High Sierra 10.13.6, AI 22.1 Scrolling bar and File bar not showing. Also all files will close without warning

10. Importing a small PDF file takes 2 minutes

    I just opened 6 50kb PDF files and it took 1 minute 50 seconds. Why is it so slow? It has been this slow for a long time and I am sick of it. It makes me wonder why I should pay for this.

11. Saving as PDF includes Illustrator layers when "Create Acrobat Layers from Top-Level Layers" is turned off

    I often iterate ideas on multiple layers, then use the "Save as PDF" option to export a clean version with inactive/hidden layers omitted using "Create Acrobat Layers from Top-Level Layers" de-activated.

    However, I have noticed recently that when I re-open PDF files saved in this manner, the hidden Illustrator layers are still present, when the hidden data should have been omitted from the PDF.

    Please correct this, as it's causing Illustrator to generate PDF files that are larger than they need to be, with the inclusion of hidden layers, which may also include reference images and templates not needed in the output.

14. 'Send to current layer' command is disabled when art across several layers is selected

    I don't understand why it's limited, I can't see logic behind that, so I put it in Bugs, rather then Ideas.

    See, I have some stuff in different layers. I select it, choose a layer, press a hotkey, I intend to collect it all in the selected layer, but nothing happens. WHY?

    I have 'Collect in new layer' in Palette menu, but I have no hotkey for it (you guys do everything with mouse? really?) and i don't need a NEW layer, I need existing and selected one, and I have a command for it — ''Send to current layer' — and it does not work.

    Don't force me to cut and paste! I have a lot of raster art and each cut moves this behemoth into the clipboard, which takes minutes.

    Sorry, I'm upset. Just fix this one command. And everything else.

    Sometimes, elements will incorrectly be deselected, getting them into a strange state where they are seen as unselected in the layers panel, but being displayed as selected on the canevas. Most operations will not affect it (move and scale), but some, including align, will produce strange, incoherent results. It either stops at random or does not, needing a restart of Illustrator to be able to resume editing.

    It has happened multiple times already over the last weeks, and I cannot see a pattern to it's occurence. Just now it happened while navigating the history where elements were being grouped/ungrouped and transformed multiple times.

16. Offset Path Bug

    OS: Windows 10
    Illustrator CC 2018 Build 22.1 (64-bit)
    When working with Outlined Letters 9 times out of 10 it works.
    However 1:10 when I do Object > Path > Offset Path - one of the Anchor Points does not move. When this happens it always seems to occur within the plug of the letter and it appears to be an Anchor point that would have been straight down from its original position.

    In the Attached Image I show the original Path and Offset Path as outlines and the Anchor Points are illustrated by Cyan Circles.

    Bryan, as per the comment, please share the test file and provide the clear reproducible steps so the team can try to replicate this on their side.

17. can't copy text of typeface name from character panel

    selecting a typeface's name in the character panel and copying it gives you "Myriad Pro" when pasting.

    This is not a consistent bug. Sometimes when trying to re-create it actually pastes the test of the right typeface you are trying to copy.

18. svgz file got an error in brouser

    I'm working on the latest version of Illustrator CC 2018 - 22.1.0 on windows 8.1 Pro, on a wacom graphics tablet.
    I recently got an error when I save svgz files. It is about a missing line code.
    In the first image are the setting that I have to make for saving the file, and in the second image is the error that I receive in browser.
    In the last image are setting whit which file work, but it ia to big.
    Until a few days ago I had no problem, now every file I save has this error. Please help me! :)

19. Opening File with Missing Fonts Crashes because of Missing Fonts Dialog

    When opening a file sometimes the missing font dialog pops up and it crashes Ai, the dialog stays white/unload and causes Ai to crash

20. Paint Brush and Blob Brush Sizing Issues

    There is annoying sizing issues with Paint Brush and Blob Brush.

    1- Whenever i resize the paint brush tool, and then use the blob brush tool, ( which takes the same size as the paint brush ), then switch back to paint brush, the size of the paint brush reset to the default, although New art has basic appearance option is not active in the appearance panel.

    2-when i use the paint brush tool with it's default settings, it draws with 1 pt stroke weight ( although in the brush panel it says 3ps stroke weight ).
    the issue is when i resize the brush using [ and ], in the stroke panel it still says it's 1pt stroke weight.

    3- when i draw with the paint brush tool, in the brush panel it says 3pt but it draws with 1pt, and after resizing it using [ and ], and then edit the brush preset in the brush panel, it resize them.
