  1. Illustrator keeps oversaturating the color space even though modes/swatches are set correctly.

    When opening a file (usually with photography), illustrator will oversaturate all the colors regardless of color settings. Everything will be set to consistent CMYK settings but the colors show up so saturated and it's impossible to work in that space.

  2. CPU Preview defaults even for basic usage (Macbook Pro 2019)

    CPU Preview is forced even with basic files with horrible performance. Can not choose GPU Preview after a few moment.

  3. Illustrator 2021 and 2022 Zoom not working correctly after OS update to Monterey

    Like the title says, after update to Monterey.... when using Illustrator 21 or 22 when zooming into an object, either vector, tiff, eps on the document the screen goes gray about 150% to 300%. I have reset many things, GPU.... reset preferences, colors, overprint off and on.... nothing seems to correct it. This happened Only after going from Big Sur to Monterey. Attached is a screen shot at 100% zoom, then the same art at 300%. The art is all vector, that really doesn't matter, vector and images act the same when zooming.   5. Screen bug, pixels

    I create a new file and the screen starts to pixelize, If I move the mouse the pixels move too and they don't disappear

  7. Illustrator selecting Folder name and renaming file when saving into Folder

    When saving an Illustrator file - and InDesign also - I click the name of the folder that file is to go into and the filename changes to that folder's name. Why is this happening? Why was this not found when debugging these very expensive applications before throwing them at subscribers and hoping they will work? Really not professional. We pay far too much money for stupid things like this to happen. Needs to be fixed immediately. InDesign also.

  8. Very Slow

    I just updated my MacBook Pro (16 inch, 2019) to OS Monterey 12.2.1 and my Illustrator is CS 26.0.3. It is very difficult to use my files from last week. The cursor sits there spinning the beach ball, I'm seeing artifacts and artwork disappears, I can't even drag a simple pattern tile across my page. I use slightly complex artwork year in and year out as a product designer. But with the most current Mac update, something went wrong. I've rebooted, cleared my cookies, all the usual things. Please help!

  9. New File Preset Details Fields Are Misaligned Vertically (Cut off)

    When creating a New File, the measurement presets (width, height, bleed) are too high within their respective input fields. This causes the digits in each of the fields to be cut off at the top. I've attempted to resolve the issue by scaling the window, updating Illustrator, deleting preferences, and installing/reinstalling the application. Issue unresolved.

  10. First time use of the Library bug

    Hardly worth reporting but happens consistently for me: the first time I use the Library after opening Illustrator, upon choosing what I want to place, the library panel closes (before I can complete the place command). When I open the palette again and choose the item, it works fine. That's it.

  12. emf file blank (could be opened in Windows Paint and irfanview just fine)

  13. Rectangle’s horizontal and vertical measurements are swapped

    MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2018)
    Processor: 2.6 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7
    Mac OS Monterey 12.0.1 (21A559)
    Adobe Illustrator 26.0.2

    When selecting an object, like a rectangle, the horizontal and vertical measurements in the tool bar are swapped. They appear correctly in the Transform window.

    For example, a horizontal rectangle could be 7pt x 5pt, but when selected in the tool bar it shows 5 in the <--> dialog box and 7 in the vertical box.

    I have restarted my computer and restarted illustrator.

    As per the comment:

    Illustrator allows to access dimensions of an object as well as dimensions of a live shape. In case when a shape is rotated by 90° the shape’s size values can look swapped compared to measured sizes. It’s like tilting a head. See attached images inside for clarifications.

    Con l'aggiornamento del sistema operativo Mac OS 12 non si riesce ad avvicinare con lo zoom, il valore dipende dal file da 400%, si files più leggeri si arriva a 600%
    Questo tenendo la risoluzione dello schermo alla massima risoluzione mentre se si scende come risoluzione a 2k il problema non si presenta. Sia con Illustrator 2021 che con il 2022

    環境: M1 Mac mini OS 12.1 / Illustrator 26.0.2

    内容:

    行間値が表示されなくなります。たまに治る時があります。
    テキストブロックの行間は全て同じ値にしていてもすべてのテキストボックスで行間値が非表示になります。行間を変更したときに表示されるので、それで値の確認をしています。

    ご使用のマシンが「macOS 12.1」ということですが、現時点では Illustrator はサポート対象外となっておりますので、ご了承ください。

  17. Unembeding image to .PSD change resolution

    I noticed recently that on my new MacBookPro 16 - M1 Max on macOS 12.1 Monterey, with AI 26.0.2 when I unembed an image to .PSD format, the extracted image is resampled and the résolution is changed. Only PSD format does that. Choosing TIF is working as expected.

    This is not happening on my old MacBook running the same AI version but on macOS Catalina.

    So I don’t know where the bug is: On Monterey or in the M1Max Chip.

  18. Copying and pasting figures from GraphPad Prism into AI no longer works.

    Windows 10, Current 2022 AI, GraphPad Prism ver 9.2 current version. With previous versions of both software could easily cut and paste Figures from Prism into illustrator. now I get "operation cannot complete because of an unknown error" followed by a partial pasting of the figure.

  19. animated zoom malfunctions after placing images in illustrator

    When I place files from photoshop into illustrator, the animated zoom malfunctions. It's still turned on in the preferences, but it just doesn't work. This has been a problem for several months. It doesn't have to be a .psd file, it seems to be any format (admittedly, I haven't tried every possibility). Running os 11.6 & & Illustrator 26.0–however, this started showing up in previous versions.

    Yet another of hundreds of bugs that now plague this once great program. I'm tired of constantly using workarounds (that impede and drastically slow my workflow) to utilize illustrator. Not like it'll ever get…
