Generative AI not working
Whenever I'm trying to generate something using the generative AI, it fails to generate and gives the following message shown in the picture. My Internet is totally fine but it still gives that message. Kindly help me with this problem!

Center points vanish at a certain level of magnification
Above a certain level of magnification, the object's center point vanishes, which is an issue if that's what you are trying to zoom-in on.
This seems mostly to happen in artwork mode.

I get an error when exporting SVG in ver28.5. There is no problem in v27.

新規ファイルを保存しようとするとクラッシュする
新規ファイルを立ち上げて、保存しようとするとクラッシュする
イラストレータが固まり、強制終了することになる。1.メニューのファイルから保存できない
・保存
・別名で保存
2.ショートカットキーでも保存できない
・保存(⌘ S)
・別名で保存(shift ⌘ S)
全て同様。
新規ファイルを作成できないので、既存の作業済みのファイルを活用することでなんとか新しいファイルに作り替えている。
※既存のファイル（すでに名前があるファイル）は保存(⌘ S)できるが、別名保存（shift ⌘ S）にするとクラッシュする
↓
イラストレータを立ち上げる前に以前作業したファイルをコピーして、リネームしてから、ファイルを開いて、レイヤーや画像、テキストなど、全て削除してから、作業しています。
もう何ヶ月もこのような状態で、とても使いにくいです。
バージョンアップも、creative cloudからアンインストールも試したが、状況は変わりませんでした。
解決策があれば教えていただきたいです。1 vote -
文字パネルで合成フォントを選択すると、テキストの操作ができなくなる
文字パネルで合成フォントを選択する操作を行うと、
・テキスト自体が表示されなくなる
・表示されていても他のフォントに変更できなくなる
・文字化けのような状態になることもある
・このバグが発生しているテキストオブジェクトをコピーすると「オブジェクトをコピーできません。メモリが足りません。ID：-108」というエラーが発生する
・まれにバグが発生しないこともあり、再現性や規則性は不明
などの不具合が発生します。いずれにせよ、この不具合が起きるとテキストツールでの操作やドキュメントの保存が一切できなくなってしまいます。
合成フォントではない通常のフォントを使用していても、まれに「同じ名前の合成フォント「○○」が既に存在します。」というエラーが発生し、その後Illustratorはフリーズします。Illustrator 28.5, 28.4.1, 27.9.4でこのバグを確認しています。
OSバージョンはWindows 11 Pro 10.0.22631 ビルド 22631です。・環境設定の削除やアプリケーションの再インストール
・グラフィックドライバの更新
・PCの再起動
・SFCやDISMなどのOS修復
・FNTCACHE.DATの削除
などの操作も行いましたが解決しませんでした。不具合の様子をキャプチャしたものを添付しております。
解決策をご存じの方はいらっしゃいますでしょうか。よろしくお願いいたします。

Stroked Clipping Masks get unclipped on file reopening
Using a clipping mask on photos works, but when I save the file, close it and reopen it, the photos are no longer clipped, but they're grouped with the mask/path instead. I then have to ungroup and reclip them every time I open it. It's happened several times. I should also note that I'm using a stroke color on the path/masks. There's one photo that isn't following the same behavior and it's working properly, but there's no discernible difference between it and the rest of the photos I'm using, whether it be size, mode or whatever.

스포이드로 다른 쉐입을 찍으면 흰색깔로 바뀝니다.
원래 스포이드로 다른 쉐입을 찍으면 그 쉐입이 가지고 있는 속성(색깔, 획 등)이 모두 복사되어 들어와야 되는데 적용이 안됩니다.
무조건 흰색으로 바뀝니다.버전: 2021 (최신 버전도 똑같음. )

Recolor Artwork tool broken
Mac Sonoma 14.2.1, Illustrator desktop 28.5 Recolor Artwork,
1) I click on the arrow between current color and new color to prevent the tool from changing the current color but the tool is changing the color anyway and including it in the mix when rotating colors around from a color group.
2) Two colors are in a current color row and I used to be able to drag one of them out to an empty row, but now when I attempt to drag just one of the two, they both move.

Pattern shifts when opening a SVG file
When I try to open an SVG file with patterns, they seem to randomly shift. It might be an issue with the origin point, but I'm not sure. When I open the SVG file in Inkscape or an internet browser, everything appears fine. However, in Illustrator, the patterns always shift regardless of the settings and preferences.

Exporting a batch of artboards as SVG results in wrong files
I'm exporting multiple artboards as SVG using ⌘⌥E command and while artboard names are correct and the window previews are also fine I realized the exported files are wrong. The names are right but the content is not matching with the corresponding artboard. I'm on Illustrator 28.5 and the file has 28 artboards

Image resolution differs depending on image orientation
When placing an image in Illustrator, the image format is HEIC, and in portrait mode or landscape: The landscape picture shows the amount of ppi as 1 logical number. The portrait mode picture shows 2 numbers for ppi, and they are totally different.

Character line height has to be entered twice before it changes
If I ever want to manually enter a specific line height for text, the first time I type it in and hit "enter" it automatically reverts back to auto (or whatever it was previously). I have to open the character panel again and do it a second time for it to actually change. This has been the case for awhile and makes no sense!

DXF files exported with wrong scale
DXF files exported with wrong scale, final dimensions exported totally different from my AI file.
I'm working under mm scale 1:1 under illustrator.

生成されるグラデーションはグラデーションではない
2024年前半頃に作成したデータについて解説します。
グラデーションツールで単色（特色濃度100％）から透明（特色濃度0％）になるグラデーションです。（A参照）黒の矢印で指し示している部分までは均等に濃度100％が入るはずなのですが、データ上でもよく見ると黒の矢印で指し示している位置の前後が濃い色になっているのがわかるでしょうか。このデータを最終、印刷（印刷業者に依頼）まで進めて商品をお客様に納品したところ、納品先の顧客からクレームが入りました。納品された商品を見るとAの写真で示したように黒の矢印周辺が一番色味が濃く出ており（筋が入ったような状態）本来矢印より下の部分も全く同じ色（濃度100％）で出るべきところが薄くなっているんです。（参照B）
しかも濃度100％より上の部分がすごく汚いムラのあるグラデーションになっています。
私自身、DTP業界で20年以上仕事をしていますが、年々イラレの品質低下が著しいことを恐らく長年愛用されている方ほどお気づきかと思います。
20年程前もグラデーションツールで作成したグラデーションをフィルム印刷するとグラデーションの段階がまるで階段のように縞々にでたことを思い出しますが、その解決方法として使用していたのがブレンドツールという強い味方。ステップ数を細かすぎるというくらいに細かい設定にすることでスムースなグラデーションを再現できます。
が、しかし。
今回の件で次回の印刷に向けて解決策を講じようとブレンドツールで同じグラデーションを作成したものの、いくらステップ数を増やそうとも、なめらかなグラデーションにならないのです。（C参照）
そしてcの画像を見て観察眼の鋭い方ならお気づきかと思いますが、
テップ数50のところを見て気づきませんか。一段一段のステップがグラデーション表現されており、そのグラデーションがまさに上に向かってゆくにつれて濃く表現されていることを。
本来であればもちろん一段一段のステップが同じ均一の色味になるので絶対にこういう表現になるはずがないですよね。
グラデーション表現の不具合と同じことが、このブレンドツールに於いても起こっています。今回実際に商品としてお客様に納品しており、このグラデーションの不具合が原因で金銭的損失を被りました。
グラデーションツールに問題があった時の回避策としてブレンドツールを使っていたのに、それも使い物にならないとなったら、この手のデザインは使えなくなります。
深刻に受け止めていただきたいですし、細部にまで注意を払って改善していただきたいです。1 vote -
3D Extrude & Bevel
I've been working with some of my previous design clients and noticed that when I add the extrude and bevel to a rectangle shape and I choose the draw hidden faces function it just don't show up when I do the expand appearance. I tried to edit by going back to the appearance panel and deactivate and then reactivate it then it worked. Has anyone got this before or it's only me ?

White random lines get displayed while working with placed images
Good day. I've stumbled upon a visual bugs in Adobe for quite a time now. I've really thought that the sole reason was my old MacBook and although It got me angry at some point I knew I did not had the best hardware so I was in no situation of asking a bug fix. Now, I'm using the ARM MacBook with M chip, so you can say I'm having somewhat the latest hardware. Still the visual bug appears super often and I'm becoming frustrated about it.
