  1. Rearrange Artboards function doesn’t position artboards on pixel grid and thus blurs artwork

    When using the function to rearrange artboards— including the embedded artwork — the artwork is placed on subpixels, although it was pixel perfect before. This bug appears in the pixel-preview mode, no matter when on CPU or GPU mode.

  2. Since the recent update, some fonts randomly deactivate in both Illustrator and Indesign. Also when typing a font name in the search box of

    Since the recent update (Dec2017), some fonts randomly deactivate approx every half an hour, in both Illustrator and Indesign. Also when typing a font name in the search area of the type window, the letters jumble around making it impossible to search and jump directly to the font I want - it's incredibly frustrating and time wasting.
    Can you please tell me how to fix this bug

  3. Node.js: Server-side Javascript has stopped working Windows is checking for a solution to the problem

    I went online to and followed the steps in Control Panel under Programs and Features. And the javascript message continues to pop up. Please advise

  4. Artboart Size arrow key increment not working for the width

    when resizing the artboard using the 'Artboard options' panel it is possible to increment the size using the arrow keys, one MM at a time for example. This feature now only works intermittently for the width field. It is still possible to change the number and the artboard will adjust.

  6. cant sign in to creative cloud

    i open a project i was working on and and i didn't have the font, it prompted me to sign in to creative cloud and when i did it adobe app tries to open but cant.

  8. Can't get rid 0.001

    In the file, width of the clipping mask should be 550pt but it only stuck in 550.001pt. Want an explanation for this.

    I could only create another rectangle in this case. But sometimes happened on some complicated shapes which was quite exhausted.

  9. "Open" button not responding first time

    After the recent update, with the new layout of the home screen, I have to click the "Open..." button two or three times before it opens the file explorer window. It acts like it is being clicked, but then nothing happens.

  10. Illustrator has bugs to support variable font with 3 attributes

    This is a sample font which to demo the variable font has 3 attributes (weight/height/Optical Size).

    If use Illustrator's Character panel to adjust the height attributes, the weight attributes would no work.

  11. Toplayers in layer panel flip open when opening files, even after closing them when closing the file.

    Files with a lot of layers that have sublayers should keep their toplayers 'closed' to keep things orderly and manageable. Now every time I open a file, AI flips most (not all! why?) toplayers open, thereby showing all sublayers, making the layer panel a superlong list and cluttering view. I always have to start by manually closing them all again. rinse and repeat after closing the file.... There seems to be no structure as to which toplayers get flipped open and which stay closed, so it is not a pref setting it seems.

  12. A large triangular glitch renders on canvas when selecting and moving objects

    Tried working on a new artboard to learn interface and immediately started getting this problem - this happens when I select an object and try to move it. Then I am unable to move anything properly. I have been unable to find any settings that may have caused this. I uninstalled and reinstalled and have received this same problem on different files and art boards.
    A triangular cut out that appears on the artboard and causes the objects to malfunction when manipulated.

    If I try to create something new, it disappears and then shows up again.

  13. Find Font broken between OSX and Windows

    Find Font is broken.

    For a missing font it requests a different font for OSX and Windows for the same file. It has something to do with the family name or font name or something. The important thing is that it is inconsistent between OS and is impossible to determine the correct font due to this error. This is confirmed to be effecting many people.

  14. New swatch is NOT global by default

    1. Use the color panel to customize a fill or stroke color.
    2. Drag the fill or stroke box into the body of the Swatches panel to create a swatch for the color.
    3. Swatch is not global as stated in https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/whats-new.html

  15. Wrapping text causes font changes and misalignment of text lines

    When I wrap text around a picture, the font completely changes and the text lines become offset from the actual text, making it impossible to edit text.

  16. Unable to move anything once placed within Adobe Illustrator

    I am using the latest version of Adobe Illustrator, i have restarted both my computer and my program numerous times and the issue persists. I am unable to move anything once placed on the Illustrator workspace. the only thing it allows me to do is to resize the objects but not move them.

    It is really frustrating when you come across issues like this which just interrupt workflow preventing you from doing the simplest actions. I am sure there is a fix but I don't have the understanding to know how to fix the issue and the majority of forums…

  17. editing type creates a new box of type

    When editing type clicking on other part of the sentence creates a new box of type instead of putting the cursor in the place I will like to edit.

  18. Visual Bug

    Updated to latest release of Illustrator, opened a PDF to encounter the bug shown in attached screenshot.

    Windows 10
    NVidia 980

    Hasn't appeared in any other file.

    Bug is related to text that appears missing at bottom of PDF (three lines worth is blank), and disappears when I zoom into 300%.

  19. Pixelated lines

    Wondering if anyone has experienced this issue before? I just installed AI and using the Adobe presets (I haven't changed anything). The lines are viewing very pixelated...how...why?! Is there a setting I need to change?

  20. Zoom - Scroll Wheel

    In Illustrator CC the program seems hardwired to not listen to the tablet settings about scroll wheel zoom or even touch pad zoom. There are lots of people online complaining about this and trying to find work arounds.
    I suggest just creating a hard wired button like photoshop did to fix this issue.
    This wasn't an issue with Illustrator CS4, so I'm not sure what changed.
