Proof Colors preview doesn't work on GPU (NVidia), only CPU
Illustrator CC 2017 version 21.1.0 (64 bit)
Dual Nvidia GTX 1060 cards, 6 GB VRAM (Not SLI)
Intel Core i7-6700K @ 4.00 GHzProof Colors preview doesn't work with GPU rendering, only on CPU.
Basically, when using GPU rendering, turning on Proof Colors and changing the proof setup to Simulate Paper Color, for example, does absolutely nothing. Document is in CMYK color mode, simulating SWOP 2, with simulate paper color activated.
When I change to CPU rendering, this works as expected. GPU rendering in InDesign and Photoshop also works as expected.
I've tried deleting Illustrator preferences, restarting, etc.

Library Drop Down Fails (Creative Cloud not specific to Illustrator)

CC 2018: Objects on top of textframes are no longer selectable
I made a clear video to illustrate this (annoying) bug.
My colleague has not yet updated Illustrator and is using the latest 2017 version.

- On notebook 1: I created a textfield with rectangle on top. I can select the textframe and the rectangle on top easily. They are on the same layer.
- On notebook 2: I did the exact same, but it has become impossible to select the rectangle.I cannot imagine this is done on purpose.

Trackpad selection issue with High Sierra
When selecting objects or drawing with any of the tools, Illustrator is not recognizing the trackpad release, so objects remain selected and the only way to deselect them is to Command-tab out of the application. I was able to duplicate this problem on my laptop as well. Appears to be related to the trackpad because the same issue doesn't appear to happen when I use a standard mouse.

With multiple selection, you have to wait before clicking on key object

Windows 10With a multiple selection, if the last object you click is the one you want to align to, you have to wait a little bit before re-clicking to set it as key object, otherwise it will go into Isolation mode or Symbol edition mode (if it's a Symbol).

Problem selecting Text Area background with direct selection

Windows 10When I want to select the background of a Text Area with the direct selection tool (white arrow), I can only do so by clicking on the edge or half a pixel inside it, or it will select the text (unless there's free space under the text, which doesn't happen if you the block is automatically resized).
I have checked on Mac, you can click anywhere inside the box where there is no text (eg the end of any line if text aligned is left) to select the background.

All Dialog Boxes Open Behind App
This is happening more and more, and usually when first opening the application. If some dialog box, typically a warning or something, pops up but for some reason then gets pushed behind or hidden by the main app window, there is no way to get back to it and no way for the app to function. tools panels disappeared.
I've just updated the software and got a dialogue box that some preferences were missing, then the interface changed to the dark one (I opt for the lightest one) and then all my tools seem to have disappeared and I can't get them back. I've quit, reopened, and repeated after restarting but same problem so far exists.

Spelling mistake in the touchbar Arrange option
On the newer MacBook Pros with touchbar, there's a spelling mistake if you go to the arrange option on the touchbar. It says "Bring Froward" instead of the usual: "Bring Forward"

Properties panel causing inconsistent tab group behaviour
The new Properties panel has a fixed width. When it's in a tab group with panels that don't have a fixed width (eg. the Layers panel), the tab group exhibits different behaviours depending on whether the tab group is docked or free-floating.
When the tab group is free floating, switching between the tabs causes the panel to change width according to each tab's setting, which is what you would expect. Eg. loop glitch
when i draw a loop (or any curved line) with my wacom pen or mouse there is a 50% chance a weird ( I really dont know how to describe it, photos attached) extra color area and if I outline the stroke it stays that way. I just want a regular old stroke to stay the width I chose for it. its very time consuming to go through every loop and tweak it just slightly so the extra stuff goes away.
i'm using illustrator cc 22.1 on an imac 10.13.3 but had the problem before on my old macbook pro…

Antigamente, o ctrl+F (colar no local) colava a forma no mesmo local independentemente da camada ou artboard. Hoje ele cola apenas na mesma camada na qual foi recortado ou copiado. Isso é muito ruim pois temos que direcionar para a camada desejada manualmente. Acho que isso é um bug visto que a função perde o sentido.

Eyedropper wants to convert everything to text color?
I have several elements that need to be colored the same way. After coloring the first one, I'm trying to color pick it to color the others... only as soon as I hover over the previously colored object a T appears next to the eyedropper and it colors the object black, regardless of the color I click on with the tool.
There is NO text on the page!I cannot find anything that addresses this problem, and I'm wasting a lot of time trying to figure it out.

Changing Overprint or blending mode on part of a text resets when file is reopened
- Create a text box, on a colour background.
- Make some of the text a colour, some black.
The black does not overprint, it reverses ("knocks") out of other text in the same box reverses out (becuase it's colour or white).
If you fix this by making the black text multiply, on reopening the file, it has reverted to reversing out.

Image Trace Preview doesn't work
Image Trace window lets you adjust advanced preferences (color county, angle threshold etc.) When I tick the "preview" box, then image traces according to my selected preferences. But after un-ticking the box it does not return to a normal rasterized image.
