Crashes every time I open anything. Or save a new file. Completely unusable.
Ever since the last update, Illustrator has become completely unusable. It locks up every time I try to open an existing file, or save a new file. Forcing me to force quit the application.
System specs:
OS: High Sierra 10.13.6

AIGUSSNIFFER
aigusniffer appeared after I upgraded to Mohave. How to remove?
When I try to update Illustrator, I get a message that there is a conflict. It tells me to close Illustrator and press the "Continue" button. However, when I close Illustrator, the update dialog box closes too. Confused!

No artboards!
I am using Mac OS Mojave (OS 10.14) with Illustrator 19. When I try to create a new file or open up an existing one, nothing happens! No new artboard appears for me - the page that loads on start up remains there. I've been using Illustrator since the early 90s and nothing like this has ever happened. This is a recent manifestation since the installation of version 19 - please advise what to do!

FIX ILLUSTRATOR 2019
Mac ios High Sierra on iMac 21.5, AI 2019, working on simple packaging mechanical files, sometimes when saving I get a message that it cannot process. I either lose all my work, or several files have been translated into black and white and look like architectural drawings. I have trouble creating new swatches. When I duplicated a swatch, when I changed color of copy, color of original changed. Why is there no step and repeat? Please stop releasing versions of this software before it is bug-free. Pattern Brush with raster image adds white pixels not in original image
If using a raster image as the base for a pattern brush, Ai will pad the image with opaque white pixels. This makes it really hard - if not impossible - to use it on anything besides solid white background.
Note: This is NOT the anti-aliasing/"thin white line between segments" issue.

Failure to create artboards when reading file with SDK in CC 2018
Issue occurs in CC 2018 when creating artboards during the GoFileFormat message handler in a plugin that registers its own file format.
In previous versions you could create artboards up to the size of the canvas using AIArtboard::SetPosition without any errors. In CC 2018 when you call AIArtboard::SetPosition it seems to compare the position to the result of AIDocument::GetDocumentMaxArtboardBounds and if it is outside of the maximum bounds it returns an error code. Can not open a saved .ase color book
With the update to Illustrator CC 2019, I now can not open the .ase color book that we've been using for 3 years.
Please fix this as it is an incredibly inconvenient bug to encounter

HIGHLIGHTING objects on locked layers
Cursor highlights everything, even objects on locked layers. This is disruptive. Why is this update so slow? Take me back!

Selected font in CC2018 doesn't stick
Problem when I opened a type sample page I made with Universal News with Commercial Pi, and almost all characters became the rectangle with X inside. I can select the block, then UNwCP and I can see the text changing as I select the face . . . but when I leave the Character pallet, the field blanks.
Also, if I select one character and type over it, the face becomes Minion. In the sample, see 8, 9, and zero.
Similarly, in InDesign, I can select a single character and then UNwCP, and the pallet changes to New Century Schoolbook…

Asset Export Undo Deletion
If I delete an asset from the Asset Export Panel, I cannot "undo" to bring it back. I would like to be able to do this in the same way as undoing to restore swatches, layers etc.

I use ASUS Gl553vd laptop with updated win 10. It has onboard gpu intel and addon gpu nvidia 1050. I have updated both drivers from asus website.
I’m experiencing screen brightness flicker means brightness goes high and low inside the document window of AI as well as PS.
It was same in 2018 versions of AI and PS and the problem is still there in 2019 versions. I’m not getting where the exact issue is.

'Puppet Warp Tool' delaying access to 'Free Transform Tool' due to load time
Noticed in the latest update that when 'pressing & holding' the Puppet Warp Tool to access the Free Transform Tool underneath would cause the Puppet Tool to first apply itself to chosen artwork, render its mesh, etc. before displaying my option to select the Free Transform Tool. This causes up the 5 second delay each time I switch - very annoying for the default state. I encounter this about 3 times daily.

Close, Save and Quit File Menu options are invisible
After upgrading Illustrator to version 23.0 (Windows 7 Pro), the Close, Save and Quit options under the File Menu are invisible. This is constant.

AIGPU sniffer triggers when launching indesign or illustrator after installing mojave -- dual screen issues also with ima pro og 27" apple screen

Undo randomly groups texts
After hitting undo a few times will cause a random text to be selected and cannot be unselected. I don't know which text has been selected either. Only way to find out is to direct select each text and try to edit them. That's the only way to exit out of the selection as well. I've found this problem over and over again.

MacOs Mojave Free Transform Tool in Illustrator CC 2019 without panel.
Selecting the Free Transform Tool in Illustrator CC 2019 -after drawing a rectangle with the Rectangle Tool -the panel of the Free Transform Tool fails to appear. Only shortcuts are possible (using iMac).

1 voteIllustrator provides two tool panels now: Basic (chosen by default) and Advanced (with all the tools, including plugin ones). This change was made to make Illustrator less clumped form the beginning and ease the learning process. You can read more about this here: https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/tools.html
You can also access all the tools from the 'drawer' menu, by clicking the button with three dots at the bottom of any toolbar.
As always, Ai doesn’t care much about our settings, and this time they forced this changes for everyone, not explaining the change directly in-app. Hope this gets improved.

CC2019 Offset Path stuck in Inches
Offset Path seems to be stuck in Inches in 23.0. I have the preferences all set to "points", yet when I try to use Offset Path, it's still displaying the offset amount in inches. This didn't happen until the upgrade to 23.0.
