  1. Measurement of a clipping path object bug on PC (Illustrator 26.0.1)

    I have a logo which uses a mesh gradient inside a clipping path. On my Mac the X and Y measurements relate to the object, ignoring the elements that are outside of the clipping path. When I share this with a colleague who is using the same version of Illustrator on a PC the measurements are different and relate to all the elements in the object and not just the clipping path? Any ideas?

  2. ファイルを開けない

    1　windows11　Illustrator v26.2.1
    2 ｐｃを立ち上げて１回目のイラレ起動
    3 起動直後に出てくるクラウドファイルの履歴画面から開く
    4 開かないのでメニューバーのファイルから開こうとするが開かない。フリーズしているわけではないので終了し、再度起動すると開ける　アップデート後から？最近毎回これです。

  4. Tile printing cuts image off.

    I have attempted to tile print an image from Illustrator at least 6 times. No matter what settings, it cuts off about 1/8-1/4" of the image. I have been tile printing for decades and now the feature doesn't work correctly. Please inquire. I'm extremely frustrated.

  5. Objects copied to clipboard are not preserving SVG Format as expected

    Objects copied to clipboard do not have the same SVG formatting as previous versions of Illustrator when pasted as text to other programs.

    Illustrator has a feature that lets you copy objects to your clipboard and paste them to other programs as SVG code. This is found under Preferences > Clipboard Handling > Include SVG Code.

    2021 (25.4.1) isn't handling the SVG code as 2020 (24.3) and previous versions did. Instead of neatly formatted SVG code, you get an unformatted mess that is... just a mess. I don't know if this is even XML.

  6. Maintain graph styles when updating data (bar graph issue)

    Issue with bar graphs:
    All styling is removed when data is updated. Can you make it so it at least retains bar width and color?

  7. SVG fail

    I'm trying to open the attached SVG, from a W3C specification. The image renders correctly in all browsers, but completely fails to import in Illustrator (Photoshop failed too).

    The upload refused to allow SVG, so I tried to add it here, in pure text.

    That failed. For unknown reason "Sorry, we couldn't submit your request." So I'll try uploading it as a text file.

  9. Text increase size turns to white block

    When I am placing a text box, once editing the text, and I try to increase it's Size atall, the fill colour Keeps turning to white on it's own so any text then appears as a weird white block — once I delete the text, part of the box glitches and stays on screen. l am also having issues in being able to use the brush tool, with it just appearing as a symbol. This makes the program unusable. It is a school account

  10. Color discripancy between "View on CPU" and "View on GPU" on a Mac with M1 chip

    I'm now running AI on a macbook pro with M1 chip.
    I noticed that when I switching "View on CPU" to "GPU", all colors became whiter and inaccurate (images inserted in AI became much whiter than the objects created and colored in AI).
    I've checked my older Macbook pro with intel CPU and AMD graphic card, the colors keep the same and accurate when I switch from CPU to GPU.

  11. There is a Bug with this Bug Report.

    Trying to submit a bug within this bug report produces an error. However after refreshing the page you will see that it did actually submit the post. So the error message screen is not accurate.

  12. CMYK Files Colors are Displaying as RGB in Illustrator 2022 Version 26.0.1

    (Illustrator 2022) Open a new CMYK file, create a box, color Breakdown "87-75-0-0 "select the same CMYK color Breakdown "87-75-0-0 " (In Color Picker) that is clearly showing a darker color then what is behind the open select box.

  13. Color Theme Picker works with problems

    After the Adobe Illustrator update (don't know if it was the last one in April 2021 or the previous one) Color Theme Picker in a new version of the Recolor Artwork tool stops working. Not only in my app but in the apps of at least 3 people - different OS, different computers. It just doesn't activate then you click the icon.

    The solution was found but it was very strange - you need to open Adobe Illustrator not directly on your computer but through the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app. Then Color Theme Picker starts working. And continues to…

  14. Overprint and darken doesn't work properly when it doesn't exist a background color.

    Illustrator 25.4.1 (64 bit) in Windows 10

    When we use darken+overprint in objects that are over some background, we don't have a problem. But if we don't have a background it does the similar to a multiply appearance.

    Is there a way to fix this problem?

  15. Envelope Distort with a top object that has curves with only one handle makes the contents tangled and broken

    When I try to use envelope distort it makes all of the type look crazy. I have used it successfully in the past, I unchecked the distort button in options. Not sure how to solve, I restarted and reinstalled Illustrator — still not working. The attached image shows the 2 elements I am trying to distort and the bottom shows the result I get.

  16. Scripting window keeps appearing and no way to remove it

    Uninstalling/Reinstalling does not remove prompt. Starting appearing after most recent update to with the new ipad features. Going back to older version, the window doesn't appear.

    This issue is happening due to a security feature added in Illustrator to inform the user if any external application tries to execute a script in Illustrator.

    Solution: Update your Logitech options app to the latest version – https://www.logitech.com/en-in/product/options

    We heard from some users that above solution is not working for them, we are investigating this issue. Meanwhile users can try the below workaround

    Create a JSX file with the following content:
    app.preferences.setBooleanPreference(“ShowExternalJSXWarning”, false);
    Save the above JSX file. Now, go to File > Scripts > Other Script, and choose the newly saved jsx file.

    This will suppress the warning dialog and run the script.

  17. Drag to select Text in fields broken with update

    In the properties panel we are no longer able to drag to select the text in text fields. Very frustrating. This doesn't seem to be an issue in other text fields throughout the UI, mainly the properties panel.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

  18. Text is Invisible - All Fonts, All Colors, Sizes, View Modes, Etc.

    Windows 10, 12GB RAM, Nvidia 850M, i7-4710HQ (Laptop) - But I have also had this issue on a beefy desktop

    Illustrator Version 26.0.2

    Recent attempts to use illustrator on my desktop and laptop have yielded an app that cannot render text in any form. I have tried every solution offered thus far -- resetting preferences, checking text fill and stroke, ensuring opacity is Normal, etc. and nothing fixes this bug. I have restarted the computer and reinstalled the program. For my work this is a program-breaking bug.

  19. All confimation boxes closing

    Everytime I do an action that recquires a confirmation box - such as Save Document, Rasterize Text, etc - the box closes in less than a second, making impossible to do anything. So, when I'm working I can't save - and sometimes can't even shut down the program because all boxes closes in a blink.

    Im using the last AI version and Windows 11. Can someone help me? :(

  20. Enabling Rulers or entering Outline or Isolation mode completely disables GPU Preview

    Illustrator Version: 25.2.1

    Mac OS: 11.2.3 Big Sur
    MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019)
    CPU: 2.3GH-z 8-Core i9
    Memory 664 GB 2667MHz DDR4
    Graphics: AMD Radeon Pro 5600M 8GB

    Displays: 2x LG UN850 4K Displays (Connected via Thunderbolt) + Built in MBP Display

    Reproduce steps:

    Restart Machine
    Launch Illustrator upon startup
    Create New Blank Document
    Press Cmd+R to enable Rulers
    Click "view" under main menu and see "View Using GPU" grayed out

    Did not have this issue with prior versions of Illustrator or Mac OS

    Temporary Fix:

    Save file with rulers hidden
    Re-Open document
    Should default to having GPU on

    • Please share the details of the Ai version (desktop) you are using.
    • If possible , it would be helpful for us to reproduce the issue if you could share the files with which you constantly face the issue.
    • Please share system details and GPU details for the machine you are using.
