  1. Rotation of Grid Repeat does not work.

    rotating a grid repeat causes several bugs. One of them is that the handles aren't working correctly.

  2. Undo (CMD+Z) doesn't work correctly with "Scale Artwork with Artboard" feature

    When I scale artboard, and use new "Scale Artwork with Artboard (finally ;)" feature, and then try to undo to previous scale (Cmd+Z), some objects don't return to previous position and remain outside artboard. Please see screen recording, attached.

  3. Tip popup when zooming in and out (Alt key while brush is selected)

    Whenever I zoom in and out using Alt + scroll wheel or a shortcut on my Wacom pencil, and have a Pencil or Brush selected, the smoothing tool pops up and gives this 'tip' that is obstructing my work. Turning tool tips off does not help.

    'To smooth a section, select its anchor points with the direct selection tool and adjust the slider.'

    It is really annoying, I'm not trying even trying to smooth the paths, just zooming! The tip stays on screen until I do something else, and pops back up whenever I hit alt. I know how the…

  4. Let users select their own brush strokes rather than enforcing inappropriate and slow ones on them

    What if Illustrator didn't default to inappropriate brush strokes every time I attempted to use their brush? Often, I find myself working on designs that need clean vector outlines rather than a ragged brush stroke effect. Having to switch back from the ragged brush stroke every time is time-consuming and slows the software. What if we gave users the freedom to select the brush of their choice?

  5. Impossible to generate vectors, the app says it’s not genuine

    Hi ! When I want to generate new vectors in illustrator, I can't. A message which tell me that my illustrator is not authentic appeared.

    Customer service did everything but still not working.

  6. [ExtendScript] PageItem.resize doesn't scale Live Paint strokes

    While scaling Live Paint object correctly scales strokes if done via the UI, it fails to scale strokes if done via the PageItem.resize method in the scripting API.

    MacOS 15.0.1 Illustrator 29.0.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. New document
    2. Create a Live Paint object including stroked areas.
    3. Select the Live Paint object.
    4. Run the following script:

    var item = app.activeDocument.selection[0];
item.resize(200, 200, true, true, true, true);

    Expected result is that the Live Paint object's stroke widths would double. However they remain the same as before.

  7. Banding and fragmentation of color gradients in Illustrator

    In an old Illustrator CS6 vector, the gradients became banded and fragmented when I opened them in the newer Illustrator. I layered the gradients with the screen blending mode. I used to have no problems with this vector file, but the problem appeared in my new Illustrator (29.1). What the problem could be?

  8. Width tool not working right: can’t adjust widths at the first point of the path

    Have a fairly simple shape inside a radial repeat x 12. That shape has about 4 width adjustments. And one of them has a hard adjustment, from wider to smaller, but it acts really weird and can't make it a smooth width. It doesn't have two width adjustments on top of each other, and I can't delete the width adjustment. This has happened twice in different files, made separately but with similar processes. Can't seem to find a way to fix this besides deleting and starting over.

  9. Adobe Illustrator recovered files... but they're not showing up, anywhere.

    Adobe Illustrator recovered files... but there not showing up. And not in a Temp Folder. I tried restarting the app and it says that it was recovered. But when pressed ok nothing shows up.

  10. Changing the size of a graphic will not remain stable and does not maintain it's location point.

    I have a graphic that uses the top-left as the alignment reference point. It is on an artboard that is positioned in whole numbers (no decimals).

    I want it to be at X: 20px and Y: 20px
    I want it to be W: 700px or Y: 700px (either one not both)
    I do not want the position of X or Y to change from 20px.
    I want to maintain whole numbers

    What happens instead:
    When I resize the graphic it will not maintain a whole number and it changes the position/location of my reference point. I have snap to pixel…

  11. Some shortcuts don't work with Mac Sequoia 15.2 OS

    The spacebar does not resize something when drawing. Instead it brings up the properties box and sounds an error alarm on the Mac Mini Pro M4. Additionally, the keyboard shortcuts, such as M or H, stop working mid program. The up/down keys don't change the number of sides while drawing a polygon. I'm running version 29.1 I've already disabled any spacebar shortcuts native to the OS. Even running in safe mode, Adobe creative cloud programs have incompatible shortcuts with Mac Sequoia.

  13. Type on Path Characters vanish and appear scattered / exploded on far edges of canvas (when zoomed out) if outlined / expanded

    Started in in version 27.7.0
    Reproduction procedures:
    1. Create type on a path in document.
    2. Save the document and close it once.
    3. Open that document and select the text on a path.
    4. Execute command “Outline Text”

    The above procedure will make it all disappear and disappear.
    This phenomenon is not reproduced in Illustrator 2022 or earlier, so it seems to be a 2023-specific bug.

    再現手順
    1. ドキュメント上にパス上テキストを作成
    2. ドキュメントを保存し、いったん閉じる
    3. ドキュメントを開き、パス上テキストオブジェクトを選択
    4. アウトラインを作成

    以上の手順で、テキストはパスごと消えてなくなります。
    Illustrator2022以前では再現しなかったため、2023固有のバグと思われます。

    The issue is believed to be fixed in the latest Beta build and is expected to be pushed into the Global Availability build at the end of July.


    To ensure this indeed fixes the problem, please install the latest Beta build from CCD app and try to reproduce it, following the steps provided by Ton in a comment within the report.

  14. Text editing issues in regular and large canvases

    1. Set the regional text to "align both ends, align the last line to the left", which aligns normally in a regular canvas, but cannot align on the right side in a large canvas.
    2. For the text in the same area, adjust the "Scale Spacing" text in the big canvas to overflow on the right. Display normally in regular canvas.

  15. 「スクリーン用に書き出し」でCMYK書き出しされる

    Illustrator2024 (ver. 28.7.4) にて、カラーモードがCMYKのドキュメントを「スクリーン用に書き出し」でJpeg書き出しすると、CMYKで書き出されます。
    Illustrator2025 (ver. 29.2.1) で同一の操作をするとRGBで書き出されます。
    Illustrator2024 (ver. 28.7.4) の挙動が誤っているため、修正を要望します。

  16. GPUプレビューモードで高解像度２階調の埋め込み画像の表示がおかしくなる。

    macOS13.6.6〜13.6.7
    Illustrator ver.28.5

    再現手順
    1.1200ppi程度のモノクロ2階長画像を用意する。
    2.IllustratorにてGPUプレビューの状態で1.の画像を配置
    3.配置した画像を埋め込むと表示が反転する。

    期待する結果
    埋込前と埋込後で表示がかわらない。

    実際の結果
    埋め込んだビットマップの表示が反転される。

    現状の回避方法
    埋込んだビットマップ画像が存在するドキュメントではCPUプレビューかオーバープリントプレビューで表示を行う。

    これはGPU表示における不具合です。PDF保存などを行うと正常に保存されますが、GPUプレビューが使えない状態というのは作業性が悪くストレスがたまります。

  17. Animated zoom bug (workspace flickers and turns black when in a group)

    1. Windows 11 (latest)
    2. Illustrator 28.3
    3. The screen flickers and turns black using Animated Zoom within a group. If I exit the group (using escape), the screen returns to normal. Animated Zoom works normally as long as I am not within a group.

    The video I've uploaded shows me double-clicking a group to enter it, then using Animated Zoom to produce the flickering and black screen. I hit escape to exit the group, and the screen returns to normal. I then demonstrate that Animated Zoom works correctly when not within the group.

  18. Nothing is visible except outlines when selected

    The 29.1 update is supposed to have a new Menu Bar under Window->Help Bar but it's not there.

    Help Bar is available only in the latest Beta (starting with 29.2) and Prerelease builds so far. As soon as the team decides it’s ready to be pushed into main build, you’ll be able to get it. At the moment you can install Beta build from CCD app, or just wait.

  20. Star shape expand not working in 2025 update

    Illustrator 29 (2025 update) on Mac - The live shapes are great, and I was able to create a cog, but I can't expand the shape like in the previous versions, and the corners stay "live." In properties panel, I click on "Expand Shape" but the shape stays editable as if it's still "live" - see screenshots attached.
