GPU performance enabled, but Illustrator is still using CPU at 100%?
Greetings, I have a 4070 ti and an AMD Ryzen 9 5900x (12 core) with 64 gb of RAM config, windows 11 machine. I have resetted the config files (deleted all the folders there), whenever I open a project that has 3d materiales and objects in it, illustrator refuses to use my GPU, despite having all the relevant boxes ticked in preferences. Here is a screenshot of whats happening. I am a CC subscriber and using the latest version (27.6.1 64bit). My video card should be able to handle any 3d task I set to it silky smooth, just applying…

Cannot move Guide line even when it is unlocked
Cannot move "Guide" line with selection tool or direct select tool even when the layer of "guide" is unlocked. Been happening for a week now.
1 voteGuides in Illustrator can be locked in two ways: separately, as any other object, or all at once, using View > Guides > Lock/Unlock Guides command, which is independent of the common way, and won’t allow you to unlock guides later one by one, only all of them together.

Illustrator CCC23 crashes when clicking scrollbar in the Layers Panel
I use a Wacom Intuos Pro Small Tablet on an M1 Max Macbook Pro running macOS 13 Ventura. I have the buttons on the tablet's pen mapped to specific keystrokes when using Illustrator CC23, which forces me to click the scrollbar to scroll within the Layers panel. 95% of the time, using any part of the scrollbar crashes Illustrator. This was never the case with previous versions and is very frustrating because using the scrollbar is now second nature to me and is very difficult to avoid.

Appearance panels not consistent
For some reason, the two ways to inspect the Appearance of the selection do not reflect the same information.
In the small panel a triangle with an exclamation mark appeared to make note of the fact that two strokes are applied and I should check the Appearance panel.. Why not show the correct Appearance information in all Appearance panels?

Where to begin?
The progression of Illustrator over the last 2 years has become maddening. Im sure this will never be read but having come to the end of my tether i need to say something somewhere. Firstly, at work, i use the same size image and format to start 99.9% of all my work. Yet every time i open illustrator, i have to put thoise dimensions in manually, in the recent section is just has 3 standard sizes (one of which is only ever used in the US, i am not in the US)
Secondly, every time i open illustrator it reverts…

数バージョン前から突然GPUプレビューが使用できなくなりました。
ファイルを開いたときはGPUプレビュー、そのあと、ペンツールなどを使うと強制的にCPUプレビューになってしまいます。
バージョンを戻しても直らなくなってしまい困っています。【私の環境】

Unmatching sizes for identical circles with Preview Bounds
When Use Preview Bounds option is enabled, Illustrator lies about the sizes of some of the identical circles on artboards.
See the GIF and the .ai document attached.Enable the option, open Transform or Properties panel and select each circle. Three at the top right will display the proper size, with the stroke weight included — 8.5 + 3.5px.
Three at the left bottom will be only 8.5 id diameter, without the stroke accounted for.6 votes -

非常に便利なソフトを開発し運営し続けてくださっていることに心から感謝いたします。本日Illustrator使用時に以下のようなバグが確認されましたのでご報告させていただきます。
シェイプを選択時に最大まで拡大をした時にバウンディングボックスがオブジェクトとずれている。
ver 27.0.1の時にはこの現象は起こっておらず、ver 27.1.1にアップグレードした後に確認された。【添付画像参照：Illustratorbugimg.jpg】

Dialog windows move / float to the left
Bug Report: Floating windows drift offscreen (see attached video).
Adobe Illustrator 26.4I tried reverting to older versions of Adobe Illustrator, but the issue exists for them as well; To me, that suggests the problem is related to the beta macOS. I am raising this bug now because the issue could present itself as users upgrade to macOS Ventura this fall.
System Info:

Space on text disapear

Adobe Illustrator (desktop) all updated (27.2)When i use text (type tool), for a single line or a text box, the spaces between the words disapear as i type it. I tried different fonts, different idioms on the text, tried check and uncheck hyphenization and always get the same result.
Is that a configuration ussue that im not aware of? or is it a bug?3 votesThe problem got solved by opening the Justification dialog and reapplying the existing values. This is still a bug though, please vote if you meet the same problem.

Freeform gradient gets stuck on color stop mode
I created a circle with a freeform gradient and when I tried to deselect the gradient, it would not deselect the color stops inside the gradient. Even when I had another object selected and tried to change the fill color, it said "color stop" was selected to fill in the top left corner. I also tried switching to my other open projects and the problem was still occurring even in projects with no gradients.

Create Outline changed text frame (with text only) to coloured block
macOS Ventura, Illustrator 27.0.1
I have several documents with texts in frames and texts as 'loose'/text area. But as soon as everything is converted to letter contours, some text frames change into colored blocks. In the example file it concerns a Google font, but it also happens with Adobe CC fonts, the problem seems to have to do with the text frames, see the example file.

Illustrator 27.2 se me cierra inesperadamente minutos después de abrirlo (Windows 10)
¿Alguien sabe por qué se me cierra Illustrator 2023 (v 27.2) inesperadamente?
Pocos minutos después de abrirlo se cierra sin marcar ningún error o ventana que informe el porqué y es el único programa que lo hace.

Program closes when opening documents or creating new ones!
HELP PLEASE! Ilustrator starts but it doesn´t allow me to open any document nor create a new one, it closes and doesn´t give me any error code. It´s been a week now and a can´t find a way to solve it. i have tried 27.5 version and many others like 26.5, 26 and the problem continues.
I´ve tried reseting preferences, upgrading and downgrading versions, reinstalling and this keeps happening.
Photoshop, after effects and all other programs work perfectly fine.
Drivers, graphics and controllers don´t seem to solve nothing either.

Certain shapes make illustrator change from GPU to CPU. Can't change back until a fresh reinstall.
I created this glass effect on my laptop and exported it to drive to download onto my PC. It opens normally with GPU preview but it switches to CPU if I zoom into my work. After some experimenting I found out it's only because of my shapes that create the glass effect. It affects both my laptop and PC. Laptop uses 1660 Max Q, not intergrated graphics.
It also affects other files (not consistent), that I open at the same time. Other files that are affected can't be changed back to GPU preview despite reopening the files individually. PC restart…

V26.5.1 Path re-open after using pathfinder tool

1. pen tool to do a open path
2. close the path using "add to shapes" in pathfinder
3 use pen tool to start a new point, the previous closed shape will reopen and join the new pointYour expected result :
using pen tool to start a new point should give a single point, not joining the previous closed shape

color doesn't reflect to the object except black and heavy color in all color modes
the colors pnale is going very weired it only color the dark colors only and when trying to change to lighter colorit wondnt respond.
pleas note this error ocured in any color mode. and the color slider interact differently than mouse cursor.

compound paths and gradients
So I made a pie chart, then applied 3D, expanded its appearance, and then made it a compound path to apply a gradient to it and it has been **** on earth to work with. It has funny artifacts that I can't even edit or look at. One of the elements fills the element with the gradient instead of just the outline. I managed to fix it by moving it around and playing with it but it will probably happen again.
