  1. Blob Brush doesn't respect "Draw inside" when painting with a color existing outside

    I included a picture to explain the problem.
    If the user intentionally chooses to draw inside a shape, then that limit should be respected. but instead, if we are painting with a color that exists outside, new strokes merges with the older ones, resulting on the painting escaping the "draw inside" feature.

    I think that the blob Brush merging should be less aggressive and should respect masks, otherwise it's not intuitive and goes against user input, which qualifies this to be a bug.

  2. Illustrator "froze" when adjust object in transform panel

    1. Mac Mini 2024 (Sequoia 15.5)
    2. Adobe Illustrator 2025 (29.6.1)
    3. Tried moving the selected object using "Transform" panel - X,Y value
    4. Adjusted the "Y value" by 1mm - the app dialog "Progress - Transforming Objects..." pop up and nothing happen, app just froze.

  3. With no documents opened, clicking New doesn’t do anything

    Once I close all the artworks, I click on "New", nothing seems opening. I think it's bug

  4. Cursor stays invisible after exiting Presentation mode

    How to reproduce:
    Create a multiple artboard document.
    Enter presentation mode.
    Do not move the mouse.
    Use the left and right arrow keys to view all the art boards.
    Note that windows will make the mouse cursor invisible since you are not using it.
    Press ESC to return to normal viewing/editing mode.
    Now the mouse cursor is invisible.

    Work around: If you go back to presentation mode and wiggle the mouse and press ESC while the mouse is visible then the mouse will be visible in normal screen mode.

  5. Text is not working

    My textboxes are empty including those that use to have text in it. I can create or select and edit them but when I type something in, nothing appears. If I try to select a text layer thats connected to a group, it randomly changes to selecting the parent/group.

  6. Crashes immediately when adding a leader before a "tate-chu-yoko" text in vertical orientation

    Guaranteed immediate crashing upon adding a leader in the Tabs panel to a tabbed gap right before a character that's set as tate-chu-yoko.
    Now I have to use bad workarounds just to circumvent this...
    Hope it gets fixed soon.

  7. 文字組みアキ量設定の動作不良

    1.お使いのオペレーティングシステムおよび Adobe Illustrator (デスクトップ版) のバージョン
    Windows10、Adobe Illustrator28.7.1

    2.問題が発生したときに実行していた手順
    Illustrator28.5以前で作成した添付の文字組み設定を、Illustrator28.7.1で開き、移動するなどすると前カッコが移動する。
    添付資料の文字組み設定を利用したテキストで、全角丸開始カッコのみ移動する。
    他の全角カッコでは問題なし。
    複数のPCで同様の症状が出る。

    4.実際の結果
    添付資料を確認ください。

    1件のデータ内に、上記の文字組み設定利用有無の文字列が混在しており、同様のデータが100件以上あります。大変困っています。
    現状は、Illustrator27.9.5で対処しています。

  9. New document page dimensions resetting as I'm typing them

    Create a new document, type in desired page width, press tab to go down to the height field and suddenly it's reverted back to what was in those fields previously. Have to go back and re-enter the correct dimensions.

    Been having the same issue here for a little while. Just been dealing with it, but it's rather frustrating.

  10. Selected an object in a bottom layer makes it render on top when exporting to TIFF

    When exporting to TIFF(doesn't happen when exporting to PNG), if I have text selected at the time, it appears at the front, when there should be layers above. I have attached a sample Illustrator file and resultant TIFF.

  11. Errors were detected but could not be corrected automatically. Please send the file to Adobe for further analysis.

  12. Snap to Point doesn’t help much to snap an object’s edge to another edge, even with Smart Guides

    'Snap to point' in Illustrator is poor. You cannot currently snap objects together reliably. Results are inconsistent.
    For example:
    1) snapping a point to an edge does not work well, if at all. I have 'snap to point' on and smart guides enabled.
    2) when using constrain with the Shift key, whether they be points or edges. Even with Snap to Point turned on, or using Smart Guides. Just something simple as drag-copying another box adjacent to itself does not snap together the edges.

  13. Glyph substitution not working in v28.7.1

    In v28.7.1, if the formatting of the character immediately before a glyph substitution is different, the glyph substitution does not work, and the default glyph is displayed instead. This bug occurs just by opening an ai file from a previous version. It's an extremely serious bug.

  14. PARM Error after switching from Illustrator CC2023 to Illustrator CC2025

    Hello everyone,
    I am trying to resolve a PARM issue that users have been facing since migrating from CC 2023 (27.9) to CC 2025 (29.8.2).
    System: macOS 15.6.1
    Apple M1 Max
    64 GB
    The error message appears on many files, significantly slowing down file editing and making Illustrator extremely slow.
    The only solution I have found is to reset the Illustrator preferences. This solution temporarily fixes the issue, but then it switches back.
    When this happens (regularly), Illustrator becomes impossible to use.

  15. Home and End buttons in Find and Replace misbehave

    Pressing Home and End buttons in all Find and Replace input fields should properly place the cursor at the start and the end of the text, instead of picking first and last values from the dropdown lists (like in happens in the Font Browser).
    Home and End should pick the first/last items ONLY when the dropdowns are expanded!

  18. Frozen Libraries Panel in Illustrator 30.1

    This has happened to me in various CC programs, but Ilustrator is the one most persistent. Basically I have Illustrator open most of the day and am switching between various apps in my workflow. Most commonly, when I return to Illustrator after it has been open for a while the CC library panel will be frozen. I am unable to click on anything in there, and if I resize the panel it distorts the contents.     We are experiencing a display issue when opening RGB graphic files. The content appears corrupted on screen, showing scattered or smeared pixel artifacts.

    In some cases, the issue is reduced or temporarily disappears when zooming in/out or scrolling the canvas. However, the problem is purely visual and does not affect the actual file data.

    When the file is saved or printed, the output is correct and shows no abnormalities.

  20. Recent Colors is adding the [None] swatch as K=0 and apply white

    When fill is focused, setting [None] adds the white (K=0) chip into Recent Colors sections.
