1. Multiscreen display problem

   On Windows 11 pro. Multiscreen HP. Launching and Activating (to use), Adobe Illustrator causes multiscreen display, to reset to Landscape and also Disrupt other windows to Minimise and Maximise and change Portrait to Landscape format, without reason.

   This also occurs over one minute, which is a waste of time, when I'm regularly jumping into Adobe Illustrator.

   The layout display setup should be maintained and not be disrupted repeatedly. Please stop changing Windows display format and let the OS do the job.

   I can confirm this is a problem with Adobe Illustrator with a simple test. When I activate ALL other programs, the display returns back to normal, as I have setup. However as soon as I activate Adobe Illustrator, the multiscreen display is completely disrupted in my three(3) screen setup with one portrait view.

   Please fix. I'm unable to use Adobe Illustrator in this current state.

2. Incorrect Blend Mode Appearance When Opening Illustrator 2024 File in Illustrator 2025

   I’ve encountered a potential bug in Illustrator. When I open a file created in Illustrator 2024 (version 28.7.4) in Illustrator 2025 (version 29.2.1), the appearance applied to the text does not display correctly.

   For example, in the attached file, the text at the bottom changes to a completely different design when opened in Illustrator 2025, which is causing a significant problem.

3. [ExtendScript] Cannot set some TextRange.characterAttributes after TextFrame.resize.

   We cannot successfully set some TextFrame.textRange.characterAttributes after the TextFrame has been resized using TextFrame.resize.

   (Tested on MacOS 15.4.1 Adobe Illustrator 29.5.1)

   Steps to reproduce:
   1. Create new document
   2. Run the below script

   Expected Result: all tests passed and no alert message appears.

   Actual result: Failed to set characterAttributes.size to 12.

   Under MacOS Sonoma 14.7.2. Illustrator 29.5.1 Cannot change color of a single word on a text box. It adds a very very slim outline without a add an actual stroke. The word is suppossed to be Brown.

5. Artwork gets drawn duplicated

7. Can't constrain Curvature tool with Shift while moving points

   When using Curvature tool while drawing a line you can use the Shift key to constrain the new point to certain dimensions like you would with pen tool, but if you go back and try to move a point later, the shift key seems to have no effect on movement.

   Alejandro, please share a test file that has hyperlinks set up in it, the PDF export settings used, and the resulting PDF you get, so the team can review it.

10. Illustrator sometimes stops responding when trying to "save as ..." a recovered file

    Illustrator stops responding when trying to "save as ..." a recovered file, afterwards one of two things happens. Either the application freezes and can only be shut with task manager, or a text box appears saying the printer driver is not compatible and opens the print menu settings

    1. Open illustrator, and textbox appears: "Illustrator just recovered from a crash" etc.
    2. press "ok" to open the document
    3. Document seems to function normally
    4. "Save as" (via file or via keyboard shortcut), destination is local on the computer
    5. Regardless whether it is renamed or not, press "save"

    From here I have had a few different outcomes

    Outcome A
    6. Illustrator looks fine but stops responding when you click
    7. application freezes, loses all interactivity and then needs to be shut down with task manager

    Outcome B
    6. Illustrator stops responding immediately, and after loading for a second, the text box "This printer driver is not supported by illustrator" appears
    7. Press "ok"
    8. standard saving options appear and everything appears to be going smoothly
    9. Then freezes and follows outcome A

    I did eventually managed to save my document with "save" rather than "save as", which followed Outcome B (still complaining about the printer driver which it doesn't usually do) without freezing itself at the end.

    Device: Windows surface studio 2 running Adobe Illustrator 2025 on Windows 11
    File: Recovered locally stored .ai file

12. Creative Cloud Fonts wont sync.

    The fonts already installed via Creative Cloud show missing in Illustrator. It also keep removing the font from the font family stating font was unable to be installed due to an error. So every time I open Illustrator or simply start my system there a new font missing. CC sprouts an error regarding a font. Never had this issue before.

13. Pencil tool now smooths way to much, ignores details

    Please enable the former way of working with the pencil tool again.
    The tool now smoothes far too much on its own, even when set to "smooth as little as possible", it is now really inaccurate, small movements are ignored.
    Real free drawing is no longer possible , that is making this wonderful, intuitive tool partially unusable. Only roughly usable for creating character designs, for example. where we need tiny details. Such a shame.

14. Offset path gets applied as a single shape

    I am having an issue where when I offset a path, it adds the path as a single shape. In the past, I could ungroup the new shape and go from there. Now, I am unable to separate the new offset path from the original shape. My next step is to use the minus front feature around another shape. Please help, as I have tried everything from forums to ChatGPT and nothing is working.

15. Snap to Point doesn’t help much to snap an object’s edge to another edge, even with Smart Guides

    'Snap to point' in Illustrator is poor. You cannot currently snap objects together reliably. Results are inconsistent.
    For example:
    1) snapping a point to an edge does not work well, if at all. I have 'snap to point' on and smart guides enabled.
    2) when using constrain with the Shift key, whether they be points or edges. Even with Snap to Point turned on, or using Smart Guides. Just something simple as drag-copying another box adjacent to itself does not snap together the edges.

    In my videos, the first video applies to point 1) and the second video at 10s, you can see that when using 'constrain' there is no information about where the edges are, and snapping of the edges clearly does not work. Not even dragging a corner, which is a point, to the other objects' edge, no snapping or any edge indication.

    Adobe please do not consider this. Please just fix it and make this work, please!

16. Illustrator crashed, the file was not recovered

    ******* buggg thingy
    I was working on a file for more than 4 hours and suddenly my adobe crashed and all of my works were gone like a joke. It got relaunched and I couldn’t find my works it’s vanished.

18. Edit Contents button in Control panel ignores the scope and always prefers the layer-level clip to the selected object-level clip

    In Illustrator we can make object-lelvel clip groups, by selecting objects and using Make Clipping Mask command.

    We also can apply a clipping mask directly to a layer if we select a path for a mask only, highlighting the layer we need to clip in Layers, and using a different Make Clipping Mask command, from the panel’s flyout menu.

    But then, if we select the object level clipping group and decide to select its clipped content, using the dedicated button in Control panel, it will ignore the scope and the intention and prefer to select the clipped layer’s content — which is everything in it, rendering this button useless.

    Why does creating a clipping mask for a layer requires highlighting it in Layers, but the same approach is not respected for using Edit Contents button?

    Be consistent and fix it, please.

19. Eyedropper picks the color of the antialiased edge of a stroke blended with the background instead of the actual stroke color

    Eyedropper requires a ton of precision when picking a color of s stroke.

    I’ve mistaken and used green color instead of violet, and now I want to pick it from the existing line.

    I click, precise enough (I hope), but the color picked — the almost correct violet (C74,95 M74,61 — instead of the global 75-75) — is not in the background at all. It’s a BLENDED color of the RENDERED anti-aliased EDGE of the stroke! So Ai secretly rasterizes what it sees and then checks the tolerance, I assume. And the tiniest overlap leads to these cases. And trust me, this happens a lot.

    We can’t trust the tool.

    5.最初に表示される「環境に無いフォント」のパネルを閉じる。
    6.メニュー「書式→フォントの検索と置換...」を選択肢「フォントの検索と置換」パネルを開く。
    7.表示用に埋め込まれたフォントは追加のチェックボックスがグレーアウトしてチェックできない。
