It doesn’t work and show an error message but works on Intel based Macs.

Zniknął pasek narzędziowy. Z Illustratora BETA i z wersji stabilnej. Dopiero po przeinstalowaniu Illustatora w wersji stabilnej pasek narzędziowy powrócił w wersji stabilnej. W BETA nadal brak paska.

Faulty upscaling of 3D object
- Windows 11 latest stable release
- Illustrator 29.9 (Desktop)
- I applied the 3D effect » Extrude & Bevel to my logo design then upscaled it to maximum size as I need exported large raster png of the logo design, but when I upscaled it it just couldn't handle the size as you can see in the attached screenshot below.
- To be able scale the 3D graphics without any limitations, damaged graphics

OSX Sonoma 14.1.2 closes Illustrator 28
I searched and couldn't find this issue. Currently using OSX 14.1.2 on a MBP.
16-inch 2021, M1 Max, 64GB mem, Sonoma 14.1.2
I keep getting the following error from the OS:
"Updated required for "illustrator"
This version of "illustrator" is not compatible with macOS 14 or later and needs to be updated. Contact the app developer for more information.FWIW, this happened on the 2023 version of ai as well, so I updated it to the latest 2024 just to be safe. Copied a guide line and Illustrator crashed
When I copy a guide line, Illustrator crushes.
Illustrator app uses all of RAM and CPU source.
Using Ctrl+C or copy button caused this problem.Operating system: Windows 11, 10400+P400, 64GB RAM

All controls in Print dialog are disabled when printing a new file
When I create a new doc, the first time I want to print with a predefined print settings, nothing appears cheeked in the window. No previsualization too.
I must check "Finish" and reprint for having the normal window with all functionality.1 vote -
BRUSHES DUPLICATE
If duplicate an existing brush (calligrafic on user choice) to change settings is unable to save the new one. The button SAVE doesn't work.

Illustrator (still) cannot read TIF files.
When can we remedy this? I cannot open or place a TIF file in Illustrator 27.6.1. The error message is the file is an unknown format and can't be opened.
There are reports on this page still open from 2021. When will this be fixed?
I have several TIFs from a museum to lay out for printing and I'm having to individually bring them all in to photoshop and export them as a different format.

text deleted and exporting empty
This happened some time ago but this time I need and explanation from Adobe. I exported this file yesterday and it worked perfectly. I opened today and some text is removed as you see in the image.
When you export to PDF, some pages (that look ok, just with removed text on Ilustrator) look completely empty, other pages hace some elements missing.

"Adobe Illustrator Web Content" process runs when I open the document in latest versions of AI and keeps running forever, taking CPU and RAM
Title says it all. Wasn't happening up until few versions back. Still happens with 27.4.1.

Can't Delete User Defined Swatches
I can't seem to find a way to delete my user defined swatches (or brushes) from the adobe library. Even when i look in my Mac Library folder I can't find where they are stored to delete them that way. I've tried saving over them with new ones by the same name but that just duplicated them. It would be nice if there was an easier way to organize + delete swatches, but I feel like Adobe makes a lot of features unnecessarily complicated.

AIC Autosave Automatically Disabled Itself
AIC files autosave in Illustrator 28.7.1 for Mac Desktop is not working half the time. Some files it autosaves and others (usually the very large ones) don't. This hasn't been an issue before the latest release that I can see.
If autosave isn't working a prompt letting me know would be great. Also, a repeating prompt if I haven't saved in a while would be an added bonus.

Can't move the Recolor Panel on a small screen
My screen resolution is 1366 x 768, I am facing this problem since I started using this laptop (HP EliteBook 850 G3): everything in Illustrator is working fine, but I am not able to move Recolor Panel, because the top section of recolor panel is hidden under the ruler, I have to hide the ruler and how somehow hardly I can move the panel.

Unable to select rasterized grayscale images
This has been a bug for a while now...
When trying to select/drag rasterized Grayscale images (rasterized in Illustrator), the image is unselectable — the only way to select the image is to go into Wireframe mode and click the bounding box. This doesn't seem to be the case with RBG or Bitmap rasterized images, only grayscale.

Fill opacity, rgba color results in no color
Released Version of Illustrator (28.0)
Problem Description:
I can change the opacity of an element fill using fill-opacity attribute or by adding the fill like this: fill="rgba(12, 12, 12, 0.5)". But seems rgba color is not recognizable by AI, we see such element as black. If we save this as svg (save as -> svg), we can see that such elements do not have color at all, that why we see them as black.
Workaround: To avoid it we can use fill-opacity instead of rgba. But then, if we save such svg in the way like file -> export ->…1 vote -
SVG files with tabular-lining opened in Illustrator doesn't work properly
Problem decription:
An SVG file with tabular-lining text property applied to text doesn't work properly when opened in Illustrator (text is not aligned).
Use the following steps to reproduce the issue:
download attached BarlowCondTabularLining.txt file
replace .txt with.svg (unable to load an SVG file)
import the file to Adobe Illustrator
open this file in Google Chrome (or any other browser) to visually see the difference

Illustrator's Extended Artboard scaling PDFs down 10% (normal), but ALSO changing resolution of placed raster images. (not normal)
I work with people providing oversized graphics for convention displays. The new extended artboard is welcome, and people are using it, and when they export to PDF for print, the giant dimensions gets scaled down to 10% so it's compatible with older PDF versions. And then the printer can just scale 1000% to make the layout its normal size. While this is awkward, it's fine and can work.
But what I discovered today is that scaling down to 10% changes the resolution of placed raster images. So, when that file gets scaled up 1000% any placed images are a lower…
