1. Quotation marks with extra space in latest update? How to solve?

2. Isolation mode requires more than 2 clicks

   I have to double click several times to enter isolation mode when an asset is in multiple nested groups.

   It was not apparent I needed to double click multiple times to drill down into subgroups until writing this feedback and observing the program much more closely.

   I was trying to enter isolation mode by rapidly clicking on the element I wanted to isolate, but Illustrator does not drill down into a deeper group unless there is a pause in clicks. It is therefore possible to click on an element 10-20 times in quick succession which is interpreted as only a single double click.

   I would like to see clicking several times in quick succession drilling deeper through groups to a single element instead of only drilling one layer deep no matter how many clicks (above 2).

3. Pressing Ctrl/Cmd+Enter in Color field no longer adjusts other color values proportionately with live color preview since 27.1.1

   Prior to 27.1.1, when live color changes were made, we were able to use Ctrl/Cmd+Enter after changing a value to proportionally move all other sliders, which is an equivalent of dragging a slider with Ctrl/Cmd key held.
   The face the preview is now live should not kill this old feature., since Ai surely can remember previous values.

5. Color Picker changes the settings when saved

   I am tweaking a color in Illustrator CC. I make slight adjustments to the Saturation and Brightness controls and hit Save. When I open the color picker again, the Hue, Saturation and Brightness controls are all shifted slightly. The Hue is especially disconcerting as it appears to be shifting left with every save.

6. Dragging Pallets from monitors with different magnifications causes problems

   I have two monitors on my desktop. Both are 4K but one is set to magnification 100% and the other set to 175% for easy reading. When I run Illustrator on the 100% monitor and the pallets slip over to the 175% monitor, the pallets enlarge to 175%. Dragging them back to the 100% monitor leaves them at 175% magnification (which is much bigger than everything else).

   The magnified pallet still takes up the size of the regular un-magnified pallet, but the contents are too big to work and there are no scrollbars. So the Pallet boundaries are resized, but not the contents.

9. Bug deletou todo o arquivo que estava salvo no pc anteriormente

   Eu estava trabalhando no arquivo há 6 horas, salvando tranquilamente, quando transformei em traçado uma imagem tudo ficou branco como se tivesse deletado tudo. Fechei e abri de novo sem salvar, quando o arquivo abriu veio todo em branco.

10. Color Picker lets objects disappear in Outline Mode and in Exports!

    When you use the Color Picker to change the color of texts, then this will lead to the problem, that every object of the same layer disappears in the Outline Mode AND much more worse: in the export.

    1. Create a new file.
    2. Create one ore more text objects. And some other path objects too, if you like.
    3. Use the Color Picker (!! not any other color tool) to change the color of a text.
    4. Go to the Outline Mode (ctrl+y) and see that every object seems to be invisible.
    5. Try to export the file (Export as..., e.g. JPG). You will see that these objects are not visible in this exported file.

    The objects "come back" only after some further transformations on them.

    Illustrator 27.5
    Windows 10

    In Illustrator 26.5 this bug does NOT appear.

    And by the way: Illustrator 27.6 has a bunch of so many new bugs just after starting it. Please please please test your software yourself before you release it to the customers!
    I will leave the Adobe Software for sure if this style of programming is the future.

12. Shift does not select multiple items any longer - Ai 28.0 / Mac OS 14.0/Mac Studio 2022

    Adobe AI upgraded on my system today to Illustrator 28 - 2024. Shift no longer works to select multiple objects or points. I use illustrator about 4-8 hours a day so I am very aware of the intended capability of the shift key while working. I have rebooted to hope for a resolve .... I can't seem to regain the functionality. My previous version of Ai did not perform this way. Bummed to consider having to downgrade back to previous version of Ai. Hope this helps bring attention.

13. Fill/stroke color changes won't work despite restart/Illustrator being up to date (windows 11)

    On my PC with Windows 11 that's up-to-date (as is Illustrator), I've lost the ability to change fill and stroke color even when a shape is selected, and even after rebooting my laptop. Note the orange-circled areas in the screen capture for reference.

16. Variable Font Changes

    While working with a Variable Font in Adobe Illustrator 27.2, everything works fine, and I save and close the file I am working on. The next time I open the file in Illustrator, the Variable Font changes to an italic version. There is no easy fix to revert the text other than to select and adjust it.

18. Crashes when a path segment is moved

    Whenever I am attempting to move an object and inadvertently grab a path segment instead of a point, there is a 50% chance Illustrator will crash. This has been a problem for over two years.

19. APPLICATION TAB CLOSING

    Every time I go from the layers/character or any other tab to the properties tab/bar it closes the entire application tab group on the side, then I have to go open it in windows.

20. Save then multiple Redo (using keyboard shortcut) Crashes Illustrator

    Some times, I hit save instead of save as. I then undo a few steps and save. I then hit redo a few time in rapid succession and illustrator crashes.
